"Can we go home please" I whispered in his neck a few hours later

"Do you not like this house" manik asked kissing my head

"I do, I just mhmm I just wanna go home"

"What's wrong butterfly?" He asked rubbing my back gently

"Nothing mani, I just want to go home. I feel like we left in such a bitter note and I just wanna go back and start over with you. No misunderstandings, no problems, no other humans, just you and I"

"Just you and I love" he whispered

"Just us" I repeated

"Very well we can go home, I will let cabin and navya know. Why don't you go pack" he siad

"Bhai and navya are here" I asked

"Ya he came this morning, he even came to the room but you were sleeping"

i pouted not remembering bhai coming in this morning

"Can we drive back" I asked sitting up in his lap

"Of course, ill get a car and that will give us more time together" he said kissing my head

"Manik"

He hummed putting a strand of hair behind my ear

"I don't wanna go in your bedroom" I said remembering soha was in there

"You don't have to worry about that"

"No I genuinely mean it manik"

"Sweetheart, everything is changed in my room, no old furniture or clothes. No trace of her I swear"

I looked in his eyes with shock

"Ya I did" he replied without even me finishing my sentence

"Why?"

"Because its you I want, it's your coffee scent I want in my room, in our room not hers. She was a flavour of the month in cabir's language and nothin more. You are my present and future"

It overwhelms me to hear that from him because I had been wanting to hear that from him all along and finally I have him all to me, no other chicks, just me.

"Its been you all along and it will always be you my little butterfly"

I smiled, like a genuine smile.

"Hehe mani" i whispered

He smiled hearing me.

"Han meri jaan" he whisepred wrapping his hands around me

A shiver ran down my spine hearing him.

"Its okay, I know its overwhelming love but we will work through it okay?" He said rubbing my back

he understands me so well.

i leaned closer and rubbed my nose with his making him smile while I giggled a little

"So fucking cute love" he mumbled getting up

"Ahhh Jesus manik" I screamed being scared that I will fall

"Girl I would never let you fall, you have to pack" he said carrying me to my room

"Im lazy" I whined as he placed me on the bed

"Pack love, I will go tell cabir"

"No wait, I wanna come too. Umm help me pack monkey"

"Ask nicely" he said sitting down

"I hate you" I said getting up to pack

"Arey baba cha la ill pack my stuff" he said seeing me bring his bag out which was in my room for some reason

we both packed and I sat down while manik was packing his shower Gell and stuff. I got up and jumped on his back laughing as he caught me

"Jesus Christ, what if I didn't catch you" he asked pulling me in front of him

"You would always catch me I know"

A beautiful smile adored his lips as he laid me down on the bed hovering over me

"You are so damn beautiful munchkin" he said kissing my cheek

"Thank you" I mumbled

"Come on lets go tell your brother" he said

I nodded getting up. I held onto his hand as e walked to their room. Manik knocked but there was no answer so I peaked my head in to see bhai on his phone

I pushed the door open and ran inside in full speed falling on bhai.

"Hiiiiii" I yelled

"Oh my goddd shit, you scared me idiot" bhai said making me laugh

"Hiii we knocked but you no answer"

"I didn't hear it cutie"

"That's bad, where is navya"

"In the shower"

"I am leaving" I said laying down on my stomach

"Hey up up, no laying down you will sleep" Manik said making me pout at him but I did get up and laid my back on manik for support

"Leaving where" bhai asked

"We are gonna go home, did you two wanna come back though I know you won't becasue of obvious reasons" manik siad

"Shut the fuck up" bhai said smacking Manik's arm

"I didn't get what you mean" I mumbled

"Shh its adult talk" manik siad

"Oye tamatar what do you mean adult talk huh"

"Shush it love" he said kissing my cheeks

"Bhai see how mean he is"

"I see, we should put him on a time out" he suggested

"Yes yes you right, mani time out" I siad

"Nandini sweetie, I need you to be quiet for a minute so we can leave before it's night time" manik said 

I pouted and put my finger on my lips

"Is this better" I asked

"Much, much better" he said with a smile

"So we are gonna go home okay, text me if you need anything" manik siad

"Sounds good, have fun and be safe. Oh and drive safe"

"Will do" manik siad

"And that thing you know is already home" bhai said making me frown

What is this stupid secret language that I am not a part of

"Wait how do you know?"

"Got a confirmation becasue you weren't picking up"

"Shit" manik said taking his phone from his sweats and scrolling through

"Thanks man" manik siad

"No problem dude"

he smiled at bhai before getting up

"Lets go" he said to me

"No I wanna see navu"

"Here I am" I heard her

I turned to see her coming out of the shower

"Hiiiii so guess what?"

"What?" She asked

"So manik is stupid, he is a monkey malhotra but he apologized"

"That he should" she replied sitting beside me

"Hello, you know im right here right?" Manik asked

"Yes I know, now shh. so I forgave him"

"You should have let him grovel more" she said

"Maybe but 6 months was enough to be fighting or ignoring. Did I do okay forgiving him?"

"You did cutie"

I nodded kissing her cheeks

"Can we go now" he asked

Hearing this he picked me up in his arms talking me out of the room while I waved at bhai and navya
