Manik's pov

A flash of light on my face woke me up, I groaned a little trying to hide my face but I heard chuckling.

I opened my eyes to find cabir sitting there making me groan even more at his stupidness

"What" I asked

"She is so fucking cute man" he said

I looked beside me to find nandini cuddling to my side, her arm laid on my chest holding onto my t shirt, her legs were tangled with mine. I smiled to the fullest seeing her next to me.

"She is" I whispered kissing the top of her head

"More than soha right?" He asked

"Shut the fuck up man, don't ruin my mood" I said getting up to sit resting my back on the bed frame

"Ahh" nandini jumped up when I sat up

"Im sorry sunshine" I whispered pulling her to my chest

"Manik" her voice was so groggy and soft

"I know jaan, I'm sorry. Its okay go back to sleep" I cooed kissing her head

She held into my t shirt and her big doe snapped eyes opened wider making me chuckle

"Sweetheart, I said to sleep not open your eyes more"

"Nandini cutie, you are so cute" cabir said

She looked at him and smiled so cutely like a child.

"Good morning bhai"

"Morning cutie"

"What are you doing here so early?" I asked him

"Your pa called and said you weren't picking up calls"

"My phone must be dead" I said seeing it on the side table

"Well your international clients are happy with the presentation" he said

"Our international clients and great"

Cabir and I actually work together but he never lets anyone know that

"Right and what's with you and ms cutie" he said

I looked down to see Nandini a sleep again holding my finger, she is such a little baby, my baby.

"Stop smiling like a man in love, whats going on?" He asked

"Mhmm nothing" I said covering up the smile

"No, you were smiling"

"And?"

"No no its not a normal smile"

"Cabir shut up man"

"Dude you have feelings for her" he stats

"Shut the fuck up" I mumbled as loud as I could without waking up nandini

"Holly fuck, you like her" he said and I was doomed

Yup, I was fucking doomed. I did have feelings for her, I have always had but I always covered it up by flirting with others and dating.

"Shit shit shittt" cabir started yelling which caused nandini to move a little

"Shut the hell up, you will wake her up" I said caressing Nandini's back gently

"Manik" he gasped

I swear this man is ridiculous

"Shut up cabir"

"But seriously whats going on" he asked

"Nothing happened"

"Well something surely did"

"How are you so sure" I asked

"Well to begin with, you changed your whole room, furniture and clothes and everything. Then you plan this trip, and not to brag or bring this in but that surprise that is waiting for her at home, what is that?" He asked

"Mhmm its nothing, its just to make it up to her" I said

"Cut the bullshit"

"I don't know dude, I don't get it but the only thing I can say is she is the first and last women who can understand me and the only women I can spend the rest of my life with" I whispered

"Finally asshole took you long enough"

"What?"

"You are blind as fuck that you couldn't realize what she can be for you and no I don't mean friend"

"Cabir its not like I haven't thought about it" I told him

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean, I have thought about her as more than friend but I just. She is fragile cabir, she may be 18 but she is still that little girl who ran up to me when she would get hurt or run up to you when I raise my voice at her. She is soft and sensitive and I'm the opposite. being more than friends means I may end up losing her if she doesn't reciprocate those feelings. And even if she feels something more than friends for me, will we be able to stick together and survive because it would crush me to lose her. On top of that these last 6 months I lost her because of my own mistake but I did and see where it has gotten us. She cried so much because of me and see how sad and dull her face looks"

I looked at her caressing her cheeks gently with my thumb as she cuddled closer to me

"I understand everything you just said but let me completely honest with you, she feels a lot more than you think. She is sensitive but the only one that can heal her after she gets hurt is you. Sure its normal to be scared of losing her but you won't lose her, trust me you won't"

before I could reply Nandini pouted in hr sleep making me smile. Seeing this cabir caressed her back causing her grip to tighten on my t shirt.

"I am not gonna say rush and tell her all about your feelings but strengthen those feelings and this relationship" he advised

I smiled at him making him grin

"Thank you" I said

He smacked my head playfully

"You are an idiot but your welcome if we are being so formal" he said getting up and walking towards the door

"Where is navya" I asked

"In bed, which is exactly where im going too cause im exhausted so bye" he said leaving making me chuckle

I slid down in bed holding Nandini in my arms, cabir is right I need to strengthen this first before I express my feelings and also fully understand them

A few hours later Nandini stirred beside me, I knew she was about to wake up and I was right she opened her eyes slowly and looked at me

"Hi muffin" I whispered kissing her forehead

"Good morning mani" she whispered shoving her face on my arm

"Morning meri Jaan"

she smiled fully hearing me and kissed my arm

"I missed you" she whispered in her groggy voice

"I missed you too, love" 

She shook her head rubbing her nose on my arm

"Eww Nandini"

"Hehe mani" she giggled making me smile

"I want pizza" she said out of nowhere

"Pizza?" I question

She bobbed her head up and down nodding at me

"Its 10 sweetheart" I said looking at my phone

"Mani we are on vacations" she whined getting up

"Okay baba konsa pizza khayegi" I asked sitting up

"Mhmm I want chicken" she said licking her lips making me smile

"Ill order it till then go shower"

She got up standing on the bed, her eyes flickered with something but before I could decipher it she jumped and fell on me

"Ahh nandini yar"

"Hahah manik 0, nandini 1" she said laughing so loud

I should have been upset but instead a smile broke out on my face seeing her happy

"I am going to shower now and you stinky ass should shower too" she said running to the bathroom before I could grab her

She is so fucking perfect, I went to my room and showered. When I came out of the shower my phone was ringing so I grabbed it and walked to the balcony
