Inside the Bakugo household were four little kids unsupervised by adults. They had just gathered apples from a natural fruit orchard in the woods. It was something that only the kids knew about. Currently Bakugo is peeling and slicing apples since he's the only one who knows how to use a knife properly. It's true that Keigo is allowed to hold a knife but he can't quite peel an apple yet without it looking distorted. 

It was a little embarrassing.

"So Kacchan when are the apples going to be ready? I'm hungry! But it's also so cool how you can peel a apple and your only four." Midoriya said eagerly while trying to decide whether he should focus on his stomach or the fact that Katsuki can use knives. "I'm almost finish so stop mumbling Deku, it's annoying!" Bakugo said while trying to hide the fact that he was complemented. Dusking his face under his hat so that his blush would be covered from view.

Todoroki had snuck out of training with his father, to hang out with his new friends. Same goes with Keigo but from the Hero commission.  He had only gotten his quirk three years ago and the hero commission took him as soon as his mother would allow it. He was literally sold off to the commission to be a 'Great Hero'.

The two boy's really admired Bakugo and Midoriya for being two opposites but close like brothers. They admired them for being able to live the life they want, because unlike them they weren't tied down by chains of expectations. Even though Keigo was the only one with a quirk the four kids got along very well. 

(one year time skip)

Todoroki had gotten his quirk which meant he couldn't sneak out anymore with his dad harping him like a hawk and the embarrassment of letting his friends see his injuries. Bakugo had gotten his explosion quirk, and became even more aggressive but still kept his brotherly figure around Midoriya. Keigo suddenly stopped arriving leaving the other boys confused.

And in the Midoriya household Izuku is scratching and turning in bed. Yesterday was his birthday and he and his mom had decided to wait a week before going to the doctors to give his quirk a chance to come fourth. Izuku had jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen where his mom was cleaning. And when she had checked there stood two nubs poking out of his back in between his shoulder blades. She turned him around and embraced him in a hug, and planned a trip to the doctors tomorrow.

Izuku POV

On our way to the doctors we went to pick up Kacchan up so he could also be there for the news. I would've loved to bring Shochan and Keichan but we lost contact with those two so now it's just me and Kacchan. "So Deku what do ya think your quirks going to be?" Kacchan asked me, I turned around to see a big grin on his face, "Although whatever it is it's not going to be better than mine." I giggled at his remark. Then suddenly the itching came back and I couldn't reach my back because of my tiny arms.

"Kacchan can you scratch my back it's itchy and I can't reach it!" I whined and pleaded to him until he finally agreed. "Ok turn aroun-" "No, Izuku your not supposed to scratch that's what the doctor said on the phone. Here Katsuki-san how about you get the Vaseline from my purse." Mamma had scolded me while handing her purse to the back and keeping her eyes on the road.

Just as Kacchan had finished gently applying the Vaseline to my tiny nubs he had told me that it had started to look like a chicken wing and that it was gross and creepy to look at. After hearing this I pulled my shirt back down and pouted while looking out the window. Kacchan had only laughed and said he didn't mean to be so harsh and that it looked like I was going to get a wing mutation like our old childhood friend. 

I only turned and looked out the window, wondering what could've happened to Keichan, he must be training to get into UA so he can become a great hero after all we all promised that if we get split up in life we could all meet back at UA. So I'm going to need to work hard to get into that school.

3rd POV

The Midoriya car pulled into the doctors office parking lot. The two boys jumped out of the car eager to see Izuku's quirk and his mutation. Inko grabbed the two boy's hand much to their embarrassment and walked into the doctors office.

(After waiting)

"So my report says that young Izuku has a mutation appearing on his back, and other than that there has been no other quirks appearances. So his quirk could just be win-..." Izuku had started coughing harshly. Katsuki and Inko tried to figure out the issue but Izuku felt horrible. 

It was as if someone had took their hand down his throat and started scratching it. He took one final heave and felt heat building up and suddenly some flames erupted from his mouth. The doctor was surprised in the young boy's evolvement. And decided that he should run a quirk test just in case.

After the test came out it showed that he would grow wings, what type of wings was still unclear. And for his quirk the results showed that he had pyrokinesis. The fact that it came up his throat seemed to be from the dominant trait his father held.

After explaining the results of the test Izuku was beaming with joy, he could defiantly help so many people with his quirk. "But what should we do about his wings they don't seem like their going to just appear over night?" The doctor hummed at Inko's concern and rummaged through his files and pulled out a file of instructions and handed it over to her. "Please come back once you figure out weather his wings will be similar to a bird or dragon.

With that the group of three left with instructions and a bag of product. "Hey Deku don't think that your going to be better than me just because you have a cool quirk. I'm going to be the best no mater what remember that."Katsuki held his chin up in arrogance. " Well Kacchan's going to be a great hero no matter what quirk you have cause Kacchan's amazing."

The boys laughed and raced the rest of the way to the car, leaving Inko giggling at the boy's small brotherly interaction.
