                         Lance's revelation

Lance looked out to see Zella shivering and crying. The blood is flowing through his lips. His fangs is out. He looked terrific. His eyes were glowing like a blue ocean. He left the man and that man collapsed into the ground with a pale face.

"So you are the one who tried to kill me that night. You are the one who drained out many innocent people. Its you ." She cried out loud.

He stared at Zella for a moment. Put his fangs in, wiped off the blood and approached Zella in a guilty face.

" No...Zella... im sorry... i didn't know this will happen.It was..."

He brought his arm closer to her but she pushed him away and went two steps backward. With a shivering voice Zella said

" You are a VAMPIRE... and its real. You killed that man. You sucked his blood. You..." her voice were breaking because she is crying. She continued " that was not a nightmare, you tried to kill me. You tried to suck my blood. I was in love with a vampire. I was with a vampire.I was wrong all these days."

She held her head with her arms. Suddenly she fallen back to the ground when walking backward. Lance ran to her but she crawled backward.

" don't come near me."she yelled.

" Zella, let me explain" he pleaded.

Zella got up from the ground and ran back to her home. Lance followed her by calling her name out. She didn't listen to him. She ran away with her full speed. Lance is still behind her.

She entered her house. Her mother saw her crying and shivering
" Are you alright dear? " Mrs. christi asked with concern.
" please leave me alone for sometime mom, please" she rushes to her room and closed the door.

Emotions swirled with the ice water circling the cold metal drain as streaks of fire burned her cheeks. Each new wave a hot trail of agony as slim, bare shoulders shook in each rake of emotion through her frame. Fire of shame and anger burned just under her skin and a deep emptiness filled her heart as the sentiments brewed over and boiled past the seams she could no longer hold together.Breathing hitched as her knees grew weak and she slumped to the cold tiles on the floor. There was no hope for a woman who cried to her death in the showers, drowning self in her own tears of hell.She looks frightened. Lots of thoughts were going across her mind.

She sees him standing in her balcony.

" Lance go away" she shouts.

He walks inside. His eyes were glowing red like a forest fire. His smile were vicious.

"ZELLA.."

He approaches Zella. Suddenly some one from behind hold his back and throws him away. Zella's eyes widens with shock.

That person who thrown him is looking like Lance. "What is this new twist now." she mumbled with fear.

He went behind the former. After few hours Lance came back.
Zella stood from her place and walked near the door with caution. She held the door handle to escape at any minute.

" Zella its me, don't worry." Said Lance.

" how can I believe you." Asked Zella.

Lance shown her the gift given by her.
She is still in a dilemma. She asked him.

" what is going on? Who is that ? What is happening? Who are you?"

" I will answer all your questions. Come with me." Said lance. Zella hesitated for a second but he took her with him. They went near a mountain top.

" who is it Lance. He looks similar to you."

" Zella, its hard for me to tell everything. But now I need to answer some of your questions." He paused and saw that fear and tension in her face. " I AM A VAMPIRE." He stared at her. Her eyes widened, she is sweating and shivering. She is listening to everything what he is saying. He continued,

"I am a 300 year old vampire. I know its hard to believe but what you saw was truth. I drinks human blood by sucking out from their body. But Zella im not a bad vampire, I don't kill innocent one. We only drinks blood from the evil most hearted one, the cruel one. As a punishment for their sin."

Zella got shocked. She stepped backwards by hearing all this. ' what am I hearing , this must be a lie or this should be a dream.' she told to herself.

" the one who came to your home and with whom I fought is my twin brother Hance. He is a vampire too. He is much more stronger than me. But not like me. He is thrown out of our vampire clan. He broke our rules. He killed innocent people. His target is you Zella. I need to protect you and I love you. I hid everything from you just because I thought if you know the truth I wont be able to protect you and I will loose you. I am sorry Zella, I can't loose you too."

Zella got really upset. She don't know what to say. She uttered something quietly " Is merlin too ?"

"Yes Zella. Everyone in my families are vampires and they don't harm any innocent people."

" what was that then, I saw you sucking blood out of a guy."

" I told you that we attack the worst kind of people. That man there was a serial killer. When I went through that way he was trying to kill an old lady who can even barely walk. I couldn't resist. His sins, his blood attracted me towards him to save that lady. I couldn't resist, I attacked him.And I don't regret for that,we vampires don't."

She still cannot accept everything at once. She looked around.she felt like she is being cheated. She turned around and ran away from that place but she slipped down from the mountain. Before she could fall down Lance caught her and hold her tight.

He whispered into her ears " I will never allow you to get hurt. I love you lot Zella. I never felt this close to anyone before."

She wrapped around him. But pushed him away,

" I wanted to go home."

She walked away from him. She got lost in that dark forest. She is scared but still trying to find her way out. Suddenly she saw someone standing near the tree and watching. She couldnt see his face. She went closer. She stepped backward when she saw his face. Its similar to Lance. But the dress he wore is different. She stepped backwards and is ready to run.

" Lance, is that you?"

" what do you think dear ?"

Zella got to know its not Lance, it is his twin brother whom he had mentioned earlier. She ran from that area. Hance chased her. Zella ran with her whole speed. But when she looked behind he disappeared, with a relaxation she turned but shocked to find him in front. She stopped and breathed heavily. He tried to grab her but a bright blue shining luminance comes from her necklace. Hance gets some kind of shock when he touches her and is thrown away due to some power.

Zella itself is shocked see to this. She couldn't find out what is that light coming from her necklace and how did he just fly away when he touch's her. Hance stood up

" May be this isnt my day.But I will surely come for you when there is no chance for you to stand. Tell your boyfriend that he cannot protect his girlfriend from his own brother."

He then vanished from his place. Zella is confused and was still in a shock. Zella feels some kind of darkness around, her eyes started to close slowly , the forest started to swirl around and she fainted.

When she opened her eyes she saw Lance sitting next to her in her room. She crawled back

" who are you?"

" Don't worry, you just passed out,its me Lance. Are you alright." He showed her his ring which she gave him.

" Lance, I'm scared. He came to me. You see this necklace, it suddenly started to shine" she looked him from the corner of her eyes " don't you believe me?"

" I do Zella. Tell me what happened, I saw you lying down in the dark forest."

"Hance came to attack me but my necklace acted like a shield. It thrown him away. But how is it possible? Who Am I Lance? Why is he behind me ? Is there anything which you are hiding from me other than this vampire stuff."

She eagerly waited for him to reply but Lance didn't reply anything.

" tell me Lance"

" its all about our ancestors. This necklace is powerful. We call it has the Red stone."

"But this is blue" she uttered due to anxiety.

"Yea, technically, when it gets activated or triggered it changes it color to red mostly.So its called the red stone." He explained.

"And you are also powerful. You have some abilities. One among it is foresight. This Necklace will protect its protector. Thats what happened today. But not always Zella. And nothing to worry Zella. You will adapt to it. Your grandmother might know more better than us. And I think its not the right time to tell you everything."

" when is the right time then? I didnt get anything. The red stone.. what is it ? Why am I ? And that shield is my ability. I have foresight ? What is all this ? Am I loosing my mind."

" stay calm sweetheart. Don't worry too much. For now the most important thing for you to know about me and Hance, is to identify us" he pauses and stand from his place. He point at the necklace and says " hold it tight and close your eyes, ask it to show our vampire phase and I will be seen with a shining ocean blue eyes and Hance will be seen with a glowing red fury eyes. This is the only difference we have that too in our vampire phase and when we have intense emotions like love, pain or anger."

Zella nodded for everything and sat beside Lance. She hugged Lance and shed silent tears. They heard a knock on the door.
