Just to confirm my theory I look towards Elli and ask "E?" She smiles sadly and nods.

This is one hell of a day. I don't even know what to think at this point. Before I think it through I blurt out my question "How did you get out?" "My dad came and attacked the base we were kept in a month after you left. He rescued those who were there but unfortunately Stoyan managed to escape and continued his business," Elli answered.

"I'm glad you got out," I said. I truly don't know what to say. "Does he know?" She asks me. "Who?" "Does Adonis know what happened to you?" She re-phrases. "Oh, yeah I told him," I say. "That's good. Stoyan made a lot of enemies. Including Adonis. He'll bring hell to him as he deserves," she said. I smile knowing that's true but it quickly fades away. Stoyan must've hurt him in some way for Adonis to want to kill him himself. "So who's the girl you locked in the closet?" Elli asks.

"Oh my god, I totally forgot about her," I say quickly adding "Her name is Chantel, trust me she deserved it." Elli nods and says "She must've, Adonis immediately locked her up when she was found. He wouldn't tell me why," she said. She's locked up now? I didn't see any girls in the cells. "I'll just say she did some bad things to me, I'm to tired to go through the whole situation now," I say. "I understand, you should go get some rest. We can meet up for coffee sometime later maybe," she says. That sounds nice.

"Ok, how long will you be staying here?" I ask. "A week, Tony wants to stay around you to make sure you're ok and I have some business here. Especially after what Adonis did. I have to check on a few things for my dad and be here to arrange a meeting with Adonis," she says. "Why do you have to arrange a meeting with him after what he did?" I ask. "After what he did, he sent a clear message to everyone in the underworld. Not just the mafias but cartels, gangs, assassins, traders, fighters, basically anyone in the underworld. Adonis is taking over and it's for the better, he'll change everything the right way," she explained. Before I could reply Adonis walks back into the room and says "We're ready."

I look towards him and say "Ok, let's go." Before leaving the room I say to Elli "I'll get your number from Tony, bye." She smiles again and says "Bye." As we walk down the hallway to the elevator Adonis grabs my hand. Once we're in the elevator he says "I see you and Elli are getting along." "Yes, I like her. She's great for Tony I can tell. And  I think I can trust her," I say. He nods listening and says "I trust her too." The rest of the way home we don't speak. It's a comfortable silence though.

When we get home some men come get the baby stuff and Adonis and I take in the carriers. Adonis created a nursery out of the room connecting to his. It's almost as big as his so they'll just have a lot of room to play. After putting them to bed and setting everything up it's 9:00. I'm exhausted. Adonis notices and takes me to the bathroom and turns on the faucet for a bath.

A warm bath right now sounds great. With bubbles to. I groan at the thought and Adonis stops for a moment before finishing setting the towels down and coming over to the counter I'm on. He cages me in with his arms and says "Don't make sounds like that μωρό (baby)." "Why?" I mumble. He reaches to move a hair off my face and says "You have no idea how much it turns me on." I roll my eyes "Everything I do seems to turn you on," I say. He scoffs and says "That's because you're you."

"What?" I ask. I'm so confused right now. "You're you. My woman. So everything you do I find attractive," he says. That's kind of cute. He turns away to turn the faucet off and comes towards me picking me up so I'm standing. He turns away while I undress and finishes preparing the bath before turning to leave. "Stay," I say. He turns around and asks "Are you sure μωρό (baby)?" "Yes, who else is going to do face masks with me," I say and get into the bath not letting him argue.

He gets in not even a minute later and positions himself so he's behind me and I'm in between his legs. I relax into him as he puts a face mask on me as well as one on himself. He gently washes the day off of me and I allow myself to fully relax into his touch. He moves to washing my hair and that's the last thing I remember.

I wake up the next morning wrapped tightly in Adonis's arms. I try to get out but he wakes up preventing me from leaving. "Just a few more minutes," he groans. He's now holding me like a teddy bear. I smile to myself. This is what happiness feels like. "Adonis I have to go to the bathroom," I say. He huffs but let's me go anyway. After I finish I get dressed. Adonis does as well. When we're done we go into the nursery.

Both of the twins are up so I pick up Everett and change his diaper. Adonis watches me carefully while I do. I also put him in a new onesie. When I'm done I put Everett back in his crib and go to pick up Alina but Adonis stops me. "Let me do it," he says. "What?" I ask. "I want to help you with them. We're together and I don't want you to have to raise them alone," says. Without warning tears well up in my eyes and I can't control it when I start crying.

Adonis comforts me until I stop crying and asks "Did I say something wrong?" "No, no, you're perfect," I say. He looks at me confused. "No one's ever said anything remotely like that to me, maybe besides Tony. I never thought I'd have a boyfriend that would say that," I say. Adonis gives me a hug and wipes away my tears before going over to Alina and putting her on the changing table.

Once he finishes he picks out a cute panda bear onesie for her and continues to hold her. I smile and go over to Everett and pick him back up. "Let's go downstairs," I say and Adonis agrees following me out.
