Kiera:

The past few days have been great. Adonis and I have been getting closer. He comes over and makes breakfast, he's also been spending a lot of his free time with me. I think I really like him. He is really caring. Maybe I'm thinking too much into it but I think I can trust him. I am really nervous though. Tomorrow night is the Christmas ball. Adonis told me that he'll be attacking that night which means he'll have my cousins and the Ivanovs. I'll get to have my revenge on Alexei. I just hope I can do it, I don't want to be weak in front of him. He shouldn't get to see that again.

Maybe I should go with Adonis to his warehouse so I can see the place beforehand. I'll have to go through there to get to his basement. I think it'd at least ease my mind about this. I'll be able to see the place he works at during the day as well. 

I hear a knock on my door and go to open it. "Breakfast is ready," Adonis says. "Ok," I reply and walk with him to the kitchen. He made omelets this morning. I somehow manage to eat all of my plate and put it in the sink. Adonis comes up behind me and says "I have to go now." Before he leaves the kitchen I say "Wait." "Is something wrong?" he asks. "Um, can I come with you?" I ask. "I'll be going to my warehouse, I'm not sure that's I good idea," he says. I think it's a great idea. "Please," I say. "Are you sure?" he asks. "Positive," I say walking closer to him. He sighs and says "You have to wear all black, so go get changed, and then we'll leave ok." "Thank you," I say and walk back to my room to go get changed.

After I changed into all black Adonis takes me to his car and starts driving. We didn't speak a word the entire drive yet it wasn't an uncomfortable silence. I just stared out the window observing the world until the car stopped moving. I look towards Adonis and he's already looking at me. "When we go in I'll introduce you to some of my most trusted men, then I'll have to go do business," He says. "What will I do after I meet your men?" I ask. "You can go to the gym and train, or stay in my office," he tells me. I kind of miss training. I haven't really had time to so my muscles aren't as defined as they used to be. "Ok, I'll train," I say and exit the car. He does as well not even a second later.

We walk in together, I wouldn't let him walk in front of me so he's walking right next to me. The room is huge and there's a lot of people here. "This is where we receive and pack shipments," Adonis explains before leading me up a set of stairs and into a hallway before ending up in an office. It's really nice and spacious but not to big. He has a nice hardwood desk and a book shelf across the room to match it. The room is colored in a nice dark grey with black and white accents. What I notice most though is that desk is almost completely covered in paperwork.

I wonder if that's for the attack he's planning. I try to get a closer look before Adonis pulls me away. "You don't need to worry about that right now, I have my right hand coming soon," he tells me. "Ok," I say. I really wanted to snoop. Adonis and I sit in a couch waiting for his right hand.

A few minutes later a man walks through the door. He's kind of hot. "Kiera this is Nico my right hand," Adonis says and Nico gives him a knowing look. "Nice to meet you," I say and stand to shake his hand. "Likewise," he responds and let's go of my hand when Adonis stands next to me. "Alex should be coming in soon," Nico tells Adonis before he sits on the chair across from the couch. After sitting back down another man walks in. He's hot to. He comes closer and says "You called me here boss?" "Yes, Kiera meet Alex. One of my most trusted men," Adonis tells him. Alex nods and I stand up to shake his hand. He accepts but looked scared for some reason. "Nice to meet you," I say and he nods before sitting in the chair next to Nico.

Adonis comes near me and says, "Nico will take you to the gym, you can use any of the equipment." "Ok," I say and start to turn away before he pulls me close to him and kisses my forehead before letting me walk towards the door. Nico and Alex stand up and Adonis says something in Greek to them before they walk to the door as well. I go with Nico and Adonis and Alex go the opposite way.

I wonder why Adonis kissed me. Not that I'm complaining though. Nico leads me down the stairs I went up before and walks me through the area with a lot of people. Some of the men look at me with lust and Nico notices. He glares at them and they look away scared. Once we get out of the room he leads me down a hallway and I decide to ask "Why did you do that?" He looks at me before opening a door and says "Everyone knows your bosses girl." Before I can respond he continues talking "This is the gym, like Adonis said you can use any of the equipment. If you need anything talk to Jeremy." He leads me through and motions for a guy to come over. "Jeremy this is Kiera, don't bother her just help her if she needs it and keep them away from her," he says and looks towards all the people in here. "Ok," he responds. "Nice to meet you," I say. He smiles slightly and says "Nice to meet you as well," before walking back to where he was earlier.

Nico turns to me and says "Adonis will be down here when we finish, it'll be about 3 hours so if you need a break just ask Jeremy to take you back to Adonis's office." "Ok," I say and he walks away. I miss boxing so I go up to Jeremy and ask "Can I tape to wrap my hands with?" He nods and leads me to a cabinet. "Do you know how to do it yourself?" He asks. "Of course," I state. He hands me the tape and I wrap my hands before walking up to a punching bag. As I'm punching I start to think about what Nico said. I'll have to talk to Adonis about that. But for now I guess I just have to focus on the bag.
