Hot

It's hot at the castle, unfortunately Dust is the only one feeling it

It's a beautiful day, except it's not, it's hot as fook, if Dust could he would shut himself inside the fridge.

Actually that ain't a bad idea since he doesn't need to breathe. He walks to the kitchen, ignores the weird looks that he gets from the demon's and the whistle from killer, well it ain't everyday that he walks around the place without his hoodie. He opens the fridge. It's too full to fit in anything more.

"Hungry? I can.. make ya something." Dust turns to Horror and shakes his head no. The giant raises a brow at that.

"Not hungry, hot."

"Ye you sure are." Killer winks at him. Horror quietly takes out a newspaper just in case there will be a need to bonk someone. Dust huffs quietly.

"Not that kind of hot." Dust leaves the kitchen. He walks to the living room only to yeet back out the moment he spots Cross writing something in his diary, better to not disturb him right now.

He teleports outside, it's wonderful, no sun, the cold wind. The perfect temperature, not too hot and not too cold, that is until the sun comes out of the clouds. He glares at the star and shows it the middle fingers before going back inside.

Without anything better to do he walks to Nightmares room and knocks on the door. Once the demon lord opens the door he yeets inside and the temperature difference has him stopping for a moment, it's at least a dozen degrees colder in here than outside.

Nightmare blinks and looks at him "Did something happen?"

"Ye, it's fooking hot outside. Can I stay here?"

The demon lord seems confused by the bold answer at first before he thinks for a moment. Were mortals this sensitive to temperature?  It's better to not take risks. "Alright. As long as you won't disturb my work, little mortal."

"Thank you" for the rest of the day Dust is chilling in Nightmares room that is until it is night. It's colder and when Nightmare turns the temperature a few degrees lower in the castle the mortal does not come to him the next day, allowing him to camly do his work.
