"I better start dinner before Hawks get home" I put my phone on the counter before walking over to the kitchen.

I was planning on making a pork roast, as my mum always use to make it. Hawks was sent on another hero mission, he said it wouldn't be easy, but he assured me, he'd be ok.

A while into making the dinner, my phone started going crazy. "What the hell-" I wiped my hands on a cloth before grabbing my phone.

My friend was spamming me

This just in, Another villain attack, this time, the villains were too powerful, buildings are burned down, while others collapsed, unfortunately, countless lives were lost here, including the Winged Hero: Hawks.

My heart shattered, "Hawks... no no NO" I fell to my knees. I never thought this day would come, and I never wanted it to come. The person I loved with my whole heart... was gone...

I tried to breath through crying, but it was hard. He can't leave me...

Hawk's Pov

It was my day off, so I decided to take a quick shower while Y/n was still sleeping. I don't get a lot of days off, so I wanted to spend it with her.

After putting on comfy clothes, and making my hair not look like a bird nest (see what I did there? :D)

I walk back to the bedroom, walking back in, I see Y/n sitting up, but she looked like she was shaking, she was gripping the covers.

"Kid?.." she shot her head towards me. "H-Hawks" tears flowed down her cheeks. I speed walked towards her before she could get out of the bed.

I got on the bed and wrapped my arms around her. I could feel her shaking in my grasp.

"Hey, kid... what's wrong?" I place my hand on her head.

"I... had a bad dream" she said, before also wrapping her arms around my neck. "Kid.." I kiss the top of her head. I snuggled us both back into bed. "I'm here, don't worry Kid" I pecked her lips.

She smiled before snuggling closer. I just want her to feel safe.
