Y/n POV

I set up the camera and sat down criss-cross applesauce on my couch.

I said, "You really wanted to talk to me, huh?"

Hawks said, "Well, you answered."

I did a mocking sound and said, "You have information to tell me, correct?"

Hawks said, "Oh, right. Anyways, I placed my wings and heard a few things. I also got bits from Dabi."

I groaned, "I can't stand Dabi!"

Hawks rose an eyebrow, "And while you're at it, you wanna make a burn book too?"

I started laughing, "Its nice to know the 3rd hero watches mean girls!"

"Its a good movie. You have nothing on me, dear. The ladies would only love me more knowing that." He did a playful look.

I chuckled but straightened up my face. I cleared my throat and said, "Um...what did Dabi tell you?"

"It wasn't much because he started to get suspicious after a couple of questions but I found out they were working with a previous group that Dabi said that they wouldn't work with again. This group was the same people that attacked us that night at the party. Dabi also stated that they took the groups members and now they have more villains apart of the LOV."

I said, "More villains than the ones they attacked with at U.S.J?"

Hawks said, "Must be if they got more."

"Do you have a name of this group?"

Hawks shook his head.

I said, "Uh...what else did you hear?"

Hawks responded, "It wasn't much but-"

I cut him off, "Stop saying 'not much'. Its helping out a lot, keep going."

He looked directly at the camera and smiled, "Are you...are you trying to be my friend?"
He made a face:

I said, "Im just SAYING, that you're doing more in this mission than I'm doing. I'm just giving you your credits."

Hawks said, "Aw thanks, bUdDy."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Continue on."

"All I know is that Shigraki said something about contacting his 'master' on the computer later."

I asked, "So the computer is how they keep in contact?"

Hawks nodded.

I said, "Well, you actually did a good job."

He smirked and said, "So did you distracting the villians while I do my handi-work. You are just as important in this mission."

"Mhm..." I said that with my 'yeah-right-nigga' face.

Hawks said, "Hey! Im tryna be nice!"

"Oh? So, now we tryna be nice?" I changed my sitting position.

Hawks said, "Listen...we good, avatar?"

I said, "Hm...whats my real name?"

Hawks said, "Y/n. Whats mine?"

I said, "Like...like yo real real name?"

Hawks was sitting in a chair so he crossed his legs and nodded his head.

I said, "Uh...Takis? No, no Taka."

Hawks said, "Damn, avatar! You don't even know your best friends name! It was even in the file!"

I said, "Shut the hell up! Thats all people call you anyways. Your real name just kinda...goes away."

He said, "Well its Takami, Keigo Takami."

I started laughing, "Why you made it sound like we just met or some shit?"

"Well, you didn't even know my actual name! We might as well act like we just met." He started to laugh, too.

I said, "I GUESS, we're good, bird. Can't believe it took you a whole ft call and a mission for you to be nice to little ol'me. I am the nicest bitch on-"

"Mars."

I said with a smile, "You know what? We're done! See yo ass tomorrow!"

I hung up on him while he was laughing. I put my phone away and went to go get ready for bed.

As I was laying down in my bed. I kinda started thinking that maybe me and Haw- Takami were friends the whole time. You know, those friends that insult each other in 100 different ways but I still think we had a hate for each other we couldn't get past.

~Whatever, im just glad it doesn't feel like we have beef anymore.~

I turned to the side, snuggled up, and went to sleep.

Hawks POV

As soon as the screen went off, I was still laughing. Glad we are actually getting along now. I mean I'm still gonna aggravate the hell out of her but its nice to know we're joking. Well a bit, my exceptional flirting is no joke. I'm a king at it. That should be another category for heroes.

I shut down my computer and put it in my drawer. I put on my sweatpants and took off my shirt. I decided to keep on my feathers tonight, it was kind of cold. I pulled up the covers and started to drift off the sleep.

~The Next Day ~

I woke up from my alarm but turned it off sleepily. I flipped to the other side of my bed and thought to myself, five more minutes.

After what felt like 5mins, I woke up and turned to look at my clock. It was in fact, not 5mins. It had been 15. I hurried up to my bathroom to put on my disguise. After I was done putting on the disguise, I started to brush my teeth and make sure my hair looked like the dude, "Chris" I was supposed to be.

I heard a 'ding' sound. Then another. Then three more.

I looked at my phone and it was Y/n.
*Y/n: where u at, nigga?
*Y/n: AYO
*Y/n: BIRD I SWEAR WHEN I SEE YOU ITS ON SIGHT
*Y/n: I'm out here looking stupid☹
*Y/n: I mean nobody out here but HURRY YO ASS UP!👴🏿

I chuckled as I finished up. I left all my feathers at my house and started to run to the meeting spot. I got there in about 10mins but I didn't...see Y/n.

~Maybe she went inside?~

I have no idea why but after I knocked on the door. My heart was beating the hell out of my chest.

~What if something happened?~
~Why didn't she wait here?~
~What if somebody else got her-~

My thoughts were interrupted when the door finally opened with Twice and Y/n both standing there. I sighed in relief and put on a fake smile before entering inside.

I was soon hit by Y/n upside the forehead.

Y/n said, "Where the hell was you at?"

I said, "Uh...sleep?"

"Ima knock yo ass to sleep in a little bit."

I shook like I was cold, "Shiver me timbers."

She was about to hit me again, but Kurogiri said, "Enough. Shigraki has something to ask you Chris."

Y/n glanced at me and I did at her. I was a bit scared of what this was.

~Have they found out me and Y/n?~

Shigraki walked up to me with his hands behind his back. He then pulled out a small red feather.

Shigraki said, "Chris, Are you missing something?"

I widened my eyes but soon went into a relaxed facial expression. I had prepared for this.

I said, "Yeah, buddy. Im a bird, remember? Well kinda broken, my feathers are starting to go away, y'know? Big accident."

Shigraki took off his hands and I saw his pale face with the scars around his lips.

Shigraki said, "Oh, yea? What happened?"

I said, "It was when I was a bit younger. I saw a fire and I tried to be those people you call heroes. I made it out with a few kids my age but my feathers burned up."

Shigraki responded, "How...heroic. I was just asking. The feather was found in a specific spot, must've got blown over there. Just making sure it's nothing suspicious. Quirks work in odd ways."

As he finished his last sentence. He crumbled the whole feather into dust with his hand. I looked at Y/n's face which turned into a frightened expression. Shigraki must've noticed because he went towards Y/n.

~What the fuck is he doing?~

Y/n POV

I stood there as I noticed what he could do. That man crumbled that feather into dust, it was gone...just like that. Shigraki started to walk towards me.

~Oh shit, oh shit.~

Shigraki stepped closed to me and put his hand on my shoulder with his pinkie lifted up. He was teasing me, trying to scare me.

Shigraki said, "Whats wrong, Vero? You seem scared?"

I said, "You seem hesitant. Is there something wrong?"

Shigraki said, "Oh, if I wanted you into dust. I would already have done it."

I nodded my head and said, "Dont you have some skin to itch or something?"

Shigraki's expression tightened and he was about to say something...or do something.

Takami butted in and said, "Hey! How about we go our separate ways and have a good day, huh?"

Shigraki looked at Takami and walked away. As soon as he walked away, I took a big breath of relief.

Takami wrapped his arm around me and whispered, "You okay?"

I whispered back, "I think so."

We went to go sit down on the couch and I whispered, "What are you doing? You gotta place another feather."

Takami responded, "Are you sure you want me to leave you alone?"

I nodded my head and did a playful push to keep up that, best friend thing up, "Get up and give my ass some space!"

Takami chuckled to play along and went to stand by the wall. After he was settled over there, he did a relaxed expression and that's when I noticed he was placing another feather.

I was approached by Mr.Compress and i said, "Hey...I have a question."

Mr.Compress said, "Yes, dear?"

I had to find my way to ease into this. I asked, "What is that computer over there for?"

He responded, "Shigraki uses that to contact our master."

"You don't actually know him?"

He said, "Eh...haven't really took the time to care about it. Shigraki contacts another person too on that computer. Its like a spy on the inside."

"A spy? What's the spy for when we willingly just go in and ruin parties?"

Mr.Compress responded, "True but as for destroying pro heroes companies, we needed a spy on the inside of that part."

I widened my eyes.

I said, "Who are you guys coming after next?"

Mr.Compress said, "A woman that goes by the name-"

"Ayo! Compress! THIS GIRL CHEATIN!"

I looked over to see Twice with an angered expression and flinging cards around in his hand. I was so close to figuring out who it could be and how to get them just as quickly.

~Man, I want twice to shut up sometimes :(~

It had been a minute and I looked at Hawks that motioned he had set the feather in a different place. I was still sitting on the couch and was about to get up but was confronted by Dabi infront of me.

Dabi said, "Leaving so soon?"

I said, "Getting on my nerves so soon?"

Dabi did a chuckle and said, "You really got comebacks, huh?"

I sighed, "Dabi, is there something you want to say?"

Dabi leaned in and put his purple-pale stitched hand on my face. He simply said, "You're pretty." with a smile and walked away.

I was stunned for a sec and said, "Touch me again and I'll make sure the skin that is left gets burned."

Dabi turned around and did a smirk as I stood all the way up. I soon felt a pair of hands and looked back to see Takami.

Takami smiled, nervously and said, "I'll see you guys later, alright?"

Everybody waved bye as me and Takami headed off.

Once we were further away, I started to talk.

I said, "Man, he get on my nerves!"

He responded, "Yeah. I saw."

I heard him mumble something but I decided to leave it alone.

I said, "I found out something earlier. I think I did alright with this information if I say so myself! You might need to take me out to eat with the shit I dug up!"

Takami said, "Hm...it seems like you're busy trying to make me date you than the actual mission."

I mocked him from what he said days ago, "I dont need to make anyone date me, mk?"

I heard him chuckle and Takami said, "Well, Dabi did tell the truth about something."

"Which is?" I crossed my arms and rose an eyebrow ready for a snarky comment.

"You are a BIT pretty."

Hawks POV

I smiled at my comment only to see her roll her eyes.

I said, "Aww, this only proves I'm your actual best friend."

She said, "Man, shut up!"

"You even texted me. My heart fluttered with that text." I batted my eyelashes at her and held my hands close to my chest.

"You know what, nigga? Ion even like you no more."

"So...you did like me?" I said.

She started to walk away, "Lalalalala I can't hear youu but call me so I can tell you the information."

"Roger that, avatar!" I started to fly away to my internship.
