Y/n POV

We walked in the building with waves and smiles. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder and noticed it was Twice.

Twice said, "Wassup!"

I said, "Hey, Twice!"

He said, "Guess what we're planning to do??"

"What?"

"We're going to-" he was cut off by blue fire zooming between our faces.

I looked towards Dabi with that stupid smirk on his face.

I said, "What the fuck?"

Dabi said, "Twice, we're not supposed to tell them yet. You don't know who these people are."

I said, "You still on this i-dont-trust-you shit?"

Dabi responded, "I call it being cautious. We don't need a pretty lady like you ruining our plans." He said that sentence as he walked closer to me.

I stared at him with disinterest. He said, "Not even a thank you for my compliment?"

"It wasn't needed. Excuse me." I brushed past him and went to go sit down on the couch where we waited for Shigraki.

I looked at Takami which was staring at Dabi too hard to notice I was looking at him.

Shigraki soon came in and said, "Hello, Vero. Chris.

" 'Sup." I did a little captain salute with my two fingers.

Takami just nodded towards Shigraki in recognition. Shigraki said, "We're going to construct an attack."

~Well this is going to be interesting.~

Shigraki continued, "Once we hear back from our spy about more information then we will know when to strike. For right now, the date is set in 2 weeks. Be ready. Are we clear on that?"

We all nodded in agreement and then went back to our business. Shigraki still wouldn't give us anything we wanted like who the person is, who we're going after or anything. They still don't trust us and I don't honestly don't blame them. Takami is a terrible actor.

The magician guy came over and said, "Delighted to see you again."

"Mm...likewise." I said in a polite manner.

I know he's a villian but I love the way he talks. It makes you feel like you're in a fairytale world and he's your butler or something.

I said, "So, why ain't nobody telling me and Chris details?"

Twice shrugged, "Idontknow...he must not trust you but that's ok, Vero! I trust you!"

I said, "Im glad. I just don't understand what I have to do."

Toga came over and said, "Maybe don't worry about it. We're just a bunch of low lifes anyways." She started to fling around her knife. "We're not COMMITTED to him or anything. Just go up to him and let him figure you out, I guess, if you want his approval that bad."

She then smiled like a maniac, giggled and said, "But thats just my opinion! Twice, I need your help."

Toga skipped off and Twice just jumped up and ran right after her.

~Guess the little girl is right.~

I walked over slowly to Shigraki and glanced at Takami which he gave a what the fuck are you doing look. I ignored him and faced Shigraki. I smiled and stood next to him.

Shigraki said, "Yes?"

I said, "So...how old are you exactly?"

Shigraki said, "I dont see why that matters."

"Im just making conversation, Shiggy."

He looked at me with glaring red eyes at the nick name. I said, "Ooo, problem? You don't like that name?"

Shigraki rolled his eyes, "You know, newcomers are bit irritating."

"You mean me?"

"Precisely."

I pouted, "But whyyy? Man, I can't be friends wit nobody in this bitch."

"Look, Vero." He started to face me. "Why are you here?"

"To join."

"Wrong answer." Shigraki started to stand over me like he knew something.

I never once broke character, I just stared at him with innocent eyes and a smile. One thing I learned during any type of undercover training is to never break character even when you THINK you're caught.

I said, "Wrong answer? Is this a test?"

Shigraki kept looking at me, like he was searching for something. His eyes, glowing a neon red, and a glare following with it. He soon took a deep breath out of defeat.

Shigraki looked at Kurogiri like that was approval of my trust and did a little hum.

It was that easy. Gained it just like that. I should be in an acting movie or something.

Kurogiri seems like the parent in this group which I'm thankful for. He seems reliable and strict if you can call a villian, strict.

I walked away to the couch I was once sitting on. Its kinda like my own little spot in here. I started to relax on the couch or act like I was relaxing while I heard some talking.

I heard Toga say, "When are we....Company...she....the spy...."

I looked at Takami and it looks like he heard a few things too.

It was after a little bit that we decided to leave. While I was stretching from the couch, Dabi came from behind me and said, "Leaving so soon, again?"

I said, "Mhm."

I nudged my head towards Takami to let him know its time to leave. I started to walk and Dabi stood infront.

"Explain to me again, why you leave at the exact same time everyday, again?"

I did a calm breath and said, "I have a life outside of here unlike you. Therefore I leave a specific time."

"But the same exact time, everyday? What are you a drug dealer?" Dabi said, lowly.

"Just know I have things to do."

I felt Takami's aura behind me. He was starting to get aggravated and frustrated with this man infront of us.

Hawks POV

He has 5 seconds to let us through.

Dabi was about to speak, "What other things if you already have a group? What, are you working with someone else?"

I said, "You have a few more seconds to continue this bullshit. Get out of her face and move out the way."

"And what are you gonna do about it, pretty boy?"

"Wanna find out?"

We suddenly heard a voice and felt a push, it was Y/n, "IGHT FINE, Since you wanna be such a princess that act like her daddys going away, we will stay longer, happy??"

Dabi did an innocent smile and said, "My heart would melt for that."

She grabbed my hand and walked me to the other side of the room. I glanced at Twice and saw him sadly put the phone down, guessing he was recording.

We were on the other side of the room, against the wall.

Y/n said, "You gotta calm down."

I rolled my eyes, "For what? He's the one being a bitch."

She elbowed me in the stomach with a laugh, "You a little bitchy too."

My face went into a pout, "But Y/nnn, he's worse than me. You've known me for years, im not like that...piece of...bacon."

"You were also a bit of a bitch for most of those years. Just calm down, ight?"

I looked into her eyes which she actually maintained with me for the first time. I felt a blush creep up on my face. I cleared my throat and said, "Alright. Only cause you said so, though." Y/n smiled and went over to entertain our villainous "friends".

Y/n stayed a good thirty minutes longer and gave me the hand wave she does to let me know we're leaving. I smiled because we finally get to leave.

"Byeee!"

The door closed and we started to walk.

I asked, "Can we hangout after internships today?"

Y/n chuckled, "Bit obsessed, aren't you, Mr.Hawks?"

I smiled and started to bring all my wings together. "Hmm...Its hard not to."

Thats when she went quiet. Got her.

I asked, "Y/n, why were you smiling so hard in there?"

Her eyebrow rose, "When?"

"When I was looking at Dabi's ugly ass, I saw you look at me and smile."

"Oh, you saw that? Well I was laughing."

"For?"

"Cause yo dumbass need to stop staring at Dabi like that!" She playfully elbowed me.

I said, "Well, I don't like him staring. His eyes are even fucking patched."

She said, "Takami...you can't blame them."

I rose an eyebrow and she continued, "They have great personalities and are very polite people."

"They killed people, Y/n."

"Yes, I know that but something happened to them. To all of them, nobody is born like that. Dabi literally looks like he was burned- I would destroy the fuckin world if that happened to me too. But I don't give a damn bout them since they tryna come for peoples companies and shit."

I laughed but I guess I understood what she is saying. They all look like they could have potential and a good social life but I can't excuse that for the stuff they've done. We still need to take them down.

Y/n asked, "Takami, what did you hear?"

I said, "Oh, how about when I come over, we can discuss it, huh?"

She did a smug look and said, "You always make sure to arrange something when you have new information. "

My face dropped, "You don't like when-"

Ring. Ring.

Y/n picked up the phone while holding her hand up. She put it on speaker and all you heard was, "Y/NNN WHERE ARE YOU?"

Y/n immediately dragged the phone away from her face and chuckled, "Mina, im just walking with Hawks. I'll be there ina bit."

I heard Mina say, "Oh, Ohhhh take your time, Mrs.Takami."

Y/n immediately hung up the phone and I said, "I'll see you tonight, alright? Also, your place."

She rolled her eyes and agreed as she walked away.

"Y/n, wait a minute."

She turned around and crossed her arms, "Yes?"

~This is what she gets for that little thing in Mrs.Evelyn's office.~

I said, "Come here a second."

She slowly walked up to me with a concerned face, "Something wrong?"

I looked at her in the eyes and she looked directly at mine. We obviously wasn't in our original forms and had our disguises but we knew exactly who we were looking at.

I started to lean closer, not to kiss her but to make her nervous.

I leaned closer and she tried so hard.

She looked away and was about to smack my face but I caught her hand, and kissed it.

"Gotcha." I said as I smiled.

Y/n said, "Man, you suck."

"Thats what you get for doing that in Mrs.Evelyn's office."

She put up a middle finger and went to her internship.

Y/n POV

I hope he falls on his fucking face. Bringing me back over there just to stare like a damn idiot.

I arrived at my company and went straight to my office to take off all the shit I was wearing. Once I was done, I went straight to Amir who was with Mina.

Mina said, "How was it with Mr.Hawks?"

I rolled my eyes, "Just fine, Mina."

Amir asked, "You need something, Mrs.Y/n?"

"Yes. I need you to alarm everybody and keep everything on high alert for the past two weeks."

Amir asked, "What for?"

"I can't tell you that, just do it. Now would be nice."

Amir nodded in understanding and went to her own desk to have everything set up.

Mina asked, "Whats going on?"

"Secret mission. Can't tell, Mina."

"O-oh. Well then...tell me the first time you and Hawks met. I need some other romance than my single ass life."

"I will on our walk, come on."

We went our on our walk and I said, "Ight, so it was a few years ago when we both just kinda got into the hero game and we saw the same villian. We charged at it and we was basically competing the whole time and throwing insults. We obviously got in trouble but since that day he would try anything and everything to get on my nerves."

Mina said, "Aww, yall are like enemies to lovers."

I chuckled, "and I guess Mrs.Evelyn got tired of our shit and made us go on this mission together which is hilarious to me. You like anybody at your school, Mina?"

Mine thought for a moment and said, "Nah...at least not at the moment. We have handsome boys there but I don't know yet."

I know what she was saying. I remembered when I was younger and I couldn't find anybody at UA. Very handsome, mostly respectful, and good built boys but you gotta find one that fits your vibe.

~After the internship~

I started to walk off after I closed the door to my company. I made sure it was closed and when I turned around, I saw a dark figure and punched it.

"Ow! Damn, avatar!"

"Takami?"

He stepped into the light caused by a streetlight. He was rubbing his cheek and I went up to him.

"Don't do no stupid shit like that. I'm black, you don't do that!" I touched his cheek.

He smiled, "Damn, you were scared, huh?"

I grabbed his hand, "Come on, so I can make sure it don't leave a bruise or nun."
