3-4 years later-

He ran through the soft green ground beneath him, his little feet stomping over blades of grass as he chased the chocolate brown Labrador around the back yard.

"Akio, be careful baby"
She yelled out the toddler as she sipped on her coffee

His little giggles filling the air as the dog spun around panting as he played with the child.

As the dog continued to run around, and akio wobbled behind him, his foot faltered as he fell onto the ground. Almost instantly the boy broke out in cries as he layed on the ground.

She sighed as got up and sat on the grass in front of the crying toddler, picking him up by his armpits and placing him on her thigh, bouncing it as she rubbed his back.

"It's okay baby, you're alright"
She said as she checked him for injuries.

Aside from his knees being a little red from impact and a grazed cheek, he was alright.

She balanced akio as she placed her larger hands on his chubby little cheeks, rubbing her thumb over his graze.

"You're okay Bub"
She comforted the boy as she placed a kiss on his cheek.

His cries began to die down as she picked him up, and began walking into the house. The chocolate dog followed close behind.

Karlos, the Labrador was only 1year old when akio was born. The two had quite a good connection now akio had began growing up.

The boy continued to sniffle against his mothers shoulder as she placed him on the bench and quickly pulled out a Band-Aid from the draw.

A personalised Band-Aid with little birds on it was placed against his cheek. She kissed over the Band-Aid and smiled at him to cheer him up.

"You feeling better now baby boy?"
She asked the toddler who nodded back with a small smile.

She chuckled as she tickled the boy trying to gain more of a happy reaction.

His little laugh, similar to before filled the room and brought a smile to y/n's lips.

"Okay, now you're better, do you want to get changed out of your pj's so we can go pick daddy up from the airport?"
She asked.

The boy began bouncing with a smile.
"Does that mean I get to see the planes as well?"
He said with a small halt in his voice.

"Yes you get to see the planes as well"
He reached his arms out and made a grabby sign with his hands as if he wanted to be lifted.

She complied and lifted the boy off the bench and took him into his room.

Keigo had turned the spare room into akios room while he found out she was pregnant. He assembled all the cupboards and cribs while she sat back. He refused to let his wife strain herself. Just like through her entire pregnancy. It was very sweet.

Akio was placed down as he made his way over to his small bed that had short barriers on the side to stop him possibly falling out.

He sat patiently as she sorted through his closet grabbing out a pair of pants and a shirt to wear. When she found clothes she changed his pj's and slipped on the clothes.

He hopped off the bed and reached up to his mothers hand and began walking as they made their way to the front door.

Y/n remembered to grab a bottle of juice for him to keep entertained while possibly waiting at the airport for a while as well as letting him pick a toy from the box in the lounge room.

Y/n and akio rode Down the elevator all the way to the bottom floor. The desk ladies were familiar with the number one pro heroes son and waved at the little boy and mother as they made there way to the car park.

She placed akio in the car seat and did up the seatbelts and made sure it was fastened as she hoped in the front set, starting up the car.

As y/n pulled out of the parking garage, she looked into the rear view mirror to the toddler in the back who was playing with a small plane toy.

"What would you like for dinner Bub, daddy's probably really tired from his flight to help make dinner so I'll let you decide alright?"
She said as pulled out and made her way onto the main road.

"Ooh, can we have those dumplings, with the yummy meet and green stuff?"
He asked.

"Pork dumplings? Yeah I'm sure daddy would like that"

The rest of her car ride, the two talked. Mostly about small topics for the toddler to understand all the way until they made there way to the airport car park.

Y/n helped her son out of the car seat as she locked her car and walked into the airport to gate 43, where her husbands flight was planned to arrive in 10 minutes.

Akio climbed onto his mother lap and searched through her bag for the juice. Once he found it he continued to drink and observe all the people walking around the busy airport.

Siblings and family meeting after years apart or long distance couples finally reconnecting in person, even people who had never met in person who were excited to see one another.

Airports where always interesting to observe at.

"Flight 1874J is coming into gate 43"
A lady on the loud speaker spoke.

"Ooh hear that baby, daddy's nearly here"
She said as picked up her son and bag and made her way closer to the gate.

The two watched as unfamiliar faces walked into the airport and met love ones and yet their loved one had yet to come in.

Just as she looked around to the other gates to check if maybe she was at the wrong one, the boy held in her arms yelled out.
"Daddy!"
She turned to see her winged husband walking towards them with open arms with a boy with a bird head carrying the suit cases behind him.

She smiled as she walked closer to her husband all of them with bright smiles as they finally made contact.

Akio hugging his fathers shoulder as y/n and keigo embraced.

"squawks"

"Hello angel"
He said with a wide smile as he kissed her lips.
"I missed you so much"

He then turned to his son who was held in her arms.
"And who's this man, this isn't my son, you're far too grown"
He joked.

"No daddy it's me!"

"Hm but you've gotten so much older since I last saw you!"

"Daddy it's only been 2 weeks"
He whined.

"I'm kidding Bub, I know it's you"
He said as he kissed his sons forehead.
"I missed you too. What's with the Band-Aid?"
He turned to his wife.

"He was chasing around Karlos this morning and fell over"

"Well that won't be a problem once you get your wings will it buddy"

"Nope I'll be able to zoom around just like you"

"Don't hype him up keigo, he'll get too excited"
She giggled.

She passed her son off to her husband and she looked behind keigo to see Tokoyami still carrying the suitcases, smiling watching the family event play out.

She walked over and hugged him.
"Hey yams"
She used his nickname.
"I feel like I haven't seen you in months. Did big bird cause you trouble"
She asked as he hugged back.

"That's because it has been months
Ms. Takami. And yes, every free second we had he insisted we go to mall shopping or get our nails painted"
He sighed teasingly.

"We've known eachother for a year now yams, it's y/n. And sounds like him"
She smirked as she turned to face her husband who was currently holding his child up in the air like an airplane.

"We'll come on we must get going now, are you joining us for dinner Tokoyami?"
She asked.

"No Thankyou y/n, I'm pretty tired from the flight. I appreciate the invitation. You three have fun, Thankyou again keigo. I'll see you all soon"
He said leaving as he grabbed his suitcase and walked off.

Y/n grabbed her husbands suitcase from the handle which had one of his feather tied to a string to locate it better as she entangled her hands with her husbands and they all made there at to the exit.

On the ride home, y/n picked up pork dumplings from a fast food place which the three had for dinner. Keigo explained all the fun things he saw on his trip. All the cool shops which he brought presents for Christmas at as well as the delicious street food he got to enjoy while not in meetings.

"I'm just glad Tokoyami was there to assist me. Without him I would of gotten lost. Inner tokoyo is massive"

"You're extremely lucky to have such a rational, intelligent sidekick like Tokoyami. I'm surprised at how you managed to become the #1 hero with no street sense or anything"
She laughed.

"I know I'm surprised I got this far. Anyway, cmon big man, it's bedtime"

"Night akio, I love you"
She said as keigo picked him up.

"Night mommy, love you too"

As keigo tucked in his son, she grabbed their plates and washed up dishes.

Keigo came back and wrapped his arms around his wife and sighed. he snuggled into her neck and inhaled her perfume before He pulled away and kissed her as he grabbed her hand and led her into the lounge room, sitting in front of her on the couch.

"Okay angel, I have some news"
He said as he grabbed her hands in his.

"Oh actually me too. It's pretty big"

"Same, you can go first"

"No no you it's alright"

He sighed.
"Okay well, I didn't tell you why I had to go to Tokyo for the meeting or It's took a while because there was a lot of paperwork involved. Now that it's finalised and offical, now I can tell you"

Both were very Nervous. Y/n was confused on whether this was good news or bad and keigo was freaking over how his wife would react.

"Okay I'll just come out and say it. I'm no longer a hero"

Y/n was shocked.
"What?!"

"I want to have enough time for you and akio. I hated leaving for missions and constantly making you worry about me. I got the heroes commission to have a meeting with me. I gave them my letter of resignation. It's offical. I'm no longer a hero"
He squeezed her hands tightly.

"But you were number one? You just left what you love for us?"

"I signed Tokoyami up, he now owns my agency and of course, I would do anything for you and akio. I have more than enough money to stay unemployed, and I've done my part. Ever since endeavour resigned a few years ago, the new heroes have been working so hard. I've saved Japan and now it's my job to do my part for my family."
He said with a smile.

Before he could ask her opinions, y/n jumped onto him, enveloping keigo in a tight hug.

"Kei, I love you so much"

He hugged her back with a smile, so happy she was okay with his news of resignation.

"Me too angel"

"I'm pregnant"

His thoughts shut down as he processed what he just heard. He pulled her back and looked into her serious eyes which were welling with tears as she sniffled with a smile.

"Y-you're serious"
He asked.

"I went to the doctors. It was positive. We're having another baby"
She said with her hands now in her lap

"And you let me go first! You're pregnant and you let me ramble on about my stupid job"
He practically yelled as he pulled her back into him.

"Akio doesn't know yet, you got to keep it down kei"
She giggled as she hugged him back tightly.

"Oh god, this works out perfectly. Now I get to stay home and help all you need. I won't have to get called into work or anything and
I-"
He was cut off as she pressed her lips to his.

"God I love you"

"I love you more"
