TW ⚠️ : small description of violence and injuries

After saying Thankyou to both you and keigo multiple times, touya and Sukai left your apartment. His mother was meant to have a serious discussion about there arrangement that touya couldn't miss.

Once he left, you and keigo sat on the couch talking.

"I can't believe he's a father now"
Keigo said still in shock

"I know right it's so weird. I'm sure though, after a while, he'll be a good dad though"

"I hope so. As long as he has his mother and your help he'll be fine"

That night you made dinner for you both, before you watched a movie together until late.

It's was 12 when you both decided to go to bed. You snuggled up next to keigo under the blankets and laid your head on his chest.

"Hey angel"
He asked.

"Do you think I'd be a good father"
He asked.

You sat your head up.
"When you have children kei, I am 100% certain that you'll be an amazing father."

He kissed the top of you head.
"Thankyou baby. Our kids will be great"
He said as began drifting off."

Our kids. Not just his. Ours

You smiled too before closing your eyes.
"Night keigo. I love you"

"Night angel"

You shot up in bed. You frantically looked around the room to find anything grounding enough to prove you weren't dreaming anymore. That it wasn't real.

Next to you was keigo peacefully sleeping, his large wings still attached and his breaths rhythmically. Constant. That was proof enough.

You placed your hand on your beating chest. It was just a nightmare. You reviewed it in your brain.

You tied to a chair in the middle of a dark room being forced to watch as your boyfriends wings and feathers were plucked and burnt leaving him screaming in pain.

It wasn't clear to you why this dream came to you. It was clear that it was terrifying. His screams replayed in you head as you sat that defenceless as he called for your help.

Your breathing picked up again and your heart beat faster as you replayed it over and over again.

Your frantic behaviour woke keigo up. He sat up as well rubbing his eyes, confused why you were sitting.

"Angel? Everything alright?"

You turned to face him with tears rolling down your eyes.

"Hey what's wrong?"
He said as he shuffled to face you.

"I- it's fine just a bad dream"

He grabbed your hand and rubbed his thumb over your knuckles.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

You shook your head, not wanting to relive it yet again.

"Can I hug you?"

You nodded your head this time as he wrapped his strong arms around you and lifted you into his lap. You nuzzled your head into his neck and you hands felt through his wings.

An abundance of feathers, two full wings. Nothing bad had happened to him. He was alright.

He rubbed your back and occasionally fluttered his wings to prove they were fine.

When you began touching them he only assumed the nightmare was about them or at the least him.

He kissed your shoulder before pulling you away and holding your face in his hands.

He wipes away any extra tears that fell from your eyes and sweetly smiled.

"Your alright"

"Mhm"
You agreed

"And I'm alright"
He said fluttering his wings again.

You nodded and tried to stop any more tears from coming, but failed. It kept replaying. Even if you hadn't spoken of it. You couldn't help feel guilty. For a dream, it wasn't even real. You were crying because you imagined something.

"Ah I'm being stupid it's fine"
You said as you sniffled and wiped your face multiple times to rid more falling tears.

Keigo grabbed your waisted and placed them down.

"Your not being stupid. Nightmares aren't stupid. I don't think your weak or anything okay. I used to get them all the time"

"I don't usually get them. This is the first one for years. People were hurting you and- and I couldn't do anything about it"

"Well, it's not real, I'm fine. Look at me."
He said.

"Yes you are fine"
You joked through your tears

"There she is"
He said with a smile before kissing your forehead.

"You ready to sleep now."

"Mhmm. Thankyou kei"

"Its no problem, I'm glad I woke up"

He then pulled you down on top of him with his arms wrapped securely around you.

"If you want to, wake me up any time alright. Especially if you have another one alright?"

"Okay kei"

"Good girl"
He kissed your forehead one more time.

Keigo stayed awake until he was 100% certain you were asleep. Your breathing returned to normal and you face sat peacefully.

Finally he fell asleep as well. Without letting go of you.
