Monsters

That's what him and i were to most people

but, to each other, we were

animals

him and I were thrill chasers.

He was a monster for his looks, which I find to be quite unique and beautiful.

I was a monster for my mind, which is a dangerous place but he finds it entertaining and enchanting.

His mind soon became as twisted as my own finding joy in the flames and thrill of danger.

My appearance became as unique as his as I piled on piercings and tattoos as well as dyed my hair.

Tendou and I love going on road trips, specifically to abandoned buildings. Right now we were driving down a back road at 80 mph, the roof down, both of us laughing and squealing. We are on our way home from an abandoned warehouse, where we had so much fun;

I dragged Tendou out of the car as soon as he stopped it. I brought out my switch blade twirling it as Tendou stood beside me with the flashlight and his own blade. He kicked the door in and surveyed the room before signaling that I can come in, we wandered around from room to room pointing out little stains wondering where they came from and the story's behind them. We tried too piece together why it was abandoned. We eventually concluded that it was just a place where an old brand of coffee was stored and they went out of business. We wandered around to the back and saw that the large garage like door was wide open. He decided to lie down on the concrete floor and watch the wheat field in front of us.

I looked out at the dark starry night sky behind the beautiful wheat field that was swaying with every subtle gust of wind. I felt someones gaze so I looked to my side to see Tendou with his large orbs staring at me.

"see something you like?" I smile

"nope, I see something I love" he smiles back reaching out to grab my hand. He tucks his other arm behind his head and looks back at the stars. I mimic his actions squeezing his hand slightly.

"I love you" I say softly not wanting to ruin the beautifully peaceful sounds of the night.

"I love you too my paradise."

He sits up pulling me with him, he wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses my temple. "thank you for being my paradise. I always feel at home when im with you. It doesn't matter where we are. When im with you I'm home" continuing to watch the sky.

I put my hand on his chest and lean up to kiss his cheek. "thank you for always being with me my love. I'm always safe with you.  We could be dying, but i wouldn't care as long as i can hold your hand and have you close to me"

He looks down at me and smiles "your beautiful, inside and out you know that?"

"so are you my love" I capture his lips with my own in a soft and passionate kiss. When we pull away he pulls me closer so our sides are flush against each other our legs intertwined.

We stay like that in silence enjoying each others company till the sky begins to fade to a lighter purple.

"we should go back now paradise" he states.

"yeah, I think we should my love" I agree with a subtle nod.

He stands up stretching, then lending me his hand pulling me up and wrapping his arm around my waist. When we get to the front of the building he looks over at me. "we burning this place?"

"Yeah I  think so, I'm in the mood for some flames."

He grabs a match and throws it into the house before we get into the car I smile as I watch it light up, the crackle to the flame soothing me further. I slide into the passenger seat as he drives away.

I remember a turn coming up here that I think Tendou forgot so I mention "my love, slow down a bit please"

"Okay paradise" he slows down to about 65 which im satisfied with, but it wasn't enough. Not only was it a turn but there happens to be a fallen tree. He couldn't slam on the breaks fast enough and before I knew it, the front of the car smashed into it and flipped us over and we continue to go through the railing and tumble down the small hill and into a ditch, both of us letting out many screeches of pain.

My vision goes blurry as my whole body aches. I feel the blood rush to my head as I struggle to unbuckle and fall to the floor. I look over at Tendou who looks like hes going to pass out. I reach over to help him unbuckle and I wince looking down to see one of my ribs poking out of my skin. i have an urge to rip it out of my body and tear through my skin but I resist. My vision continues to blur but I unbuckle him somehow.

He falls down crawling over to wrapping his arms around me immediately. "I'm so sorry my paradise" He mumbles against my chest. Tears stream down my face as I see that his legs are crushed and my chest is bleeding out, and both our heads are split 'we aren't gonna make it'.

"Its okay my love" I run my fingers through his hair and smile. "look at me" He does as I asked and looks up at me tear streaming down his own face. I cup his face and say "I love you so much. I'm so happy i could spend my life with you" My vision fades in and out and I close my left eye to try to focus at least one of them.

"I love you too my paradise. I can't imagine living nor dying with anyone else" He smiles bitterly tears still streaming down his face, he kisses my chest carefully as a final sign of affection.

"lets sleep now love" I smile.

"Lets be together in death just as we were in life"
