It's been a while since you both met each other that day. It's been..1 month? You both got to know each other better. You especially got to know different sides of Tsukishima. His salty side, his calm side, kind side, and loving side. This man has different moods. Though, when you both are alone, he's more loving instead of salty, his salty-ness barely shows when he's with you.

"Kei?"
"Hmm? What is it M/n?"
"Uh, can I ask you something?"
"Okay, sure"

You stood there and nod. You wanted to talk about how you wanted to take your friendship somewhere else. You wanted to date Tsukishima.

"I wanted to talk to you about uh.."
"About?"
"I want to take our friendship somewhere else and.." You were trying to find the words to say to Tsukishima. He's more loving towards you than to his teammates. Though, you both aren't dating yet.

"I mean, we've found out we're soulmates for a while back and I really love you..I'm sure you know that. And, I want to ask you if.. You will want to be my boyfriend..?"

Silence. That's all to be heard in the room. Uncomfortable silence. Somehow the silence made you sad, he didn't say anything. 'Could he not really not want to date me?' You thought.

"You could've just said no instead of making this whole room silent."
"It's not that.. It's just.. I don't really know if i'll be good enough..for you.."
"Tsukishima"

It's the first time you called him by his last name. The very first time he heard you say it.

"Is that what you really think of yourself? Do you really not think you're worthy of anyone or for anyone? Geez.."
"Well.. Kinda"

You got closer to Tsukishima. You know he has insecurities about himself and you were always there to help. You cup his cheecks into you hands and kissed his forehead.

"If you really think you aren't worthy of me. Do you want me to prove that you really are the most perfect person for me?"
"Oh? How so then..?"
"I've never really loved someone like how I love you. Do you really think someone has ever really liked me? Even IF they have a soulmate or a tattoo hasn't appeared on their wrist? Hell no. You are the only person that really is for me..and I'm so sure as hell you'll be happy to know I love you so.."
"Wow.. That was long.. Hehe"
"Kei, darling, you are the best person I've met. Even if you're salty most of the time.. I still love you"

"So we're dating now?"
