Oikawa was your bestfriend since the second year of middle school. You both get along pretty well, except for the fact that you'd always get involved in the crowd of women around Oikawa.

He'd usually not try and get away because he says it was rude to just leave them. Through the past days, he was avoiding all the girls in the school.

And every time they get to surround him, he tells them that he's busy and run to you.

Not the usual Oikawa you know. It's getting creepy for you

"Hey (M/n)-chan! Wait up!"

You turn around and see Oikawa run up to you and you stopped walking.

"Yeah?"

"Want me to walk you home?"

"I can go by myself."

"You can't say no! I'll walk you home!"

"Is this your way to get away from the fangirls?"

"No! Not at all! I just wanna spend extra time with you!"

"Okay.."

You turned around and started walking home, with Oikawa following you. He kept talking about something you didn't realy pay attention to.

He stopped talking, noticing that you weren't listening. He decided to yell to get your attention again.

"(M/n)!"

You flinched and looked behind you with an irritated face, yelling back.

"What?!"

He pouted and took a deep breath and yelled out again.

"I was trying to say that I like you!"

You were processing what he said, and after realising, you started backing away from Oikawa.

He looked up at you and saw you walking away.

"Hey! (M/n)-chan! Why are you walking away?!" He yelled at you with annoyance.

"Hey!"

You kept walking to your house and ignored Oikawa's loud voice.

After a while of walking, you finally got home. But on the way home, you had a fluttery feeling in your stomach, or the so called butterflies.

"What the fuck, Oikawa..."

You walked in your house and took off your shoes. You decided to prepare some dinner and after eating you took a bath.

Again, with the thought Oikawa saying "I like you" to you was roaming around your head.

"I'm afraid of commitment!"

After a few weeks, you were avoiding Oikawa and trying to get away from him. And Oikawa? Well, he's finding more and more ways to get to talk to you.

He was determined to ask you out on a date, but you'd always run off if he sees you or finds you in a certain area.

This time, you were at the baseball stages, eating your lunch while sitting on one of the benches. Then you heard someone coming fron behind you.

"AHH!"

"Don't run away from me again, (M/n)-chan!"

He held your wrist not letting you run away. He pulled you closer to him and started talking.

"Why are you avoiding me? I mean- you could've just said thay you didn't want to go on a date with me or just that you didn't like me."

You looked down at Oikawa's hand that was holding your smaller one. You started blushing a little bit. But a small blush was noticeable for Oikawa.

"Or..that's not the case?~"

You tensed up feeling that he finally figured you out. As for Oikawa, he was smirking down at you.

He put his hand on your chin and forced you to look at him. You were blushing even more with how close both of you were.

"Ahh~ so I was right? You're avoiding me because you weren't ready to date me? Hmm? Have I figured you out, honey?~"

Your face got even redder and looked away from Oikawa trying to hide your face.

"Shut up..."

Oikawa giggled at your red face and leaned down to kiss your cheek. Then he made you face him and kissed your lips.

"Hmm!"

He pulled away and smilled.

"May I take the honor to make you mine?"

You looked up at him and held on to his shirt, and then smiled.

"Yeah..whatever.."
