Kuroo's Point of veiw:

I went to the seaside where I booked a place to stay for a while. It's like I'm on a vacation from work.

The day was bright and I stood on the sand. The wind was nice and cool, I needed fresh air anyway. Then I heard a sound coming from afar. It sounded like a lullaby.

It is said that there were mermaids and mermans out in my area. Pfft, who even came up with the name "mermaid" and "merman"? It sounds stupid. Sirens are the original term from what I've heard.

"Where the hell is that sound even coming from?"

I went to where to sound is and I ended up in a rocky side if a hill. I then heard a splash when I got there and the lullaby suddenly went away.

(Y/n)'s Point of Veiw:

I heard footsteps coming towards where I was. It was by instinct that I went back in the water. I was just enjoying my time on land, I was singing my mom's lullaby that she sang when I was younger

"(Y/n)! Where are you?"
"I'm here!"
"You went back on shore didn't you?"
"Yeah, hehe"
"Okay, but be careful okay?"
"Oh well, I went back in the water when I heard footsteps so it might be by instinct that I'll get back"
"Mhm. You can go to the shore. Like your father, he goes on shore for something like painting"
"Mhm! Well I'll be finding love on shore"
"Oh, you hopeless romantic kid"

No one's Point of veiw:

(Y/n) finally did it. He went on shore to find this- love? He really felt that it was waiting for him. Or coming to him

He suddenly heard a familiar lullaby. It was your mother's lullaby. It was hummed in a deep voice. He looked around and saw a man sitting on a bench minding his own business looking at the scenery infront of him

"Is there something you want?" He asked and turned to you

'He knew I was there?! What the hell?!'

"U-uhm, no. I just heard someone hum a tune.."
"Ohh, is that so? Do you know the song I was humming?"
"Uh- no.."
"Okay. Care to sit down? It's tiring if you stand there while talking to me"
"Uh, sure"

You two sat there for a while and you learned his name was Kuroo Tetsuroo. 'Didn't Kuroo mean black or something?' You thought. You also learned that he went to a highschool called Nekoma high, he was a volleyball player. You've seen people play on tv one or two times. The teams you saw were mostly Adlers, but last time you've watched Adlers and MSBY Black Jackals.

"So. Do you have work?"
"Uh, no, not really"
"School?"
"Nope"
"You're gonna be hopeless... How about you stay with me and my friend?"
"Really?! That's okay?"
"Mhm, since I got to know you in just one day. All I need is your name"
"Oh! I'm (Y/n)"
"Okay, (Y/n). Please enjoy your stay in my place"

Three years later

You were still living with Kuroo and Kenma. But you had this fluffy type of feeling towards Kuroo, the feeling your mother always told you about, 'love'. As the hopeless romantic you were, all you did was fond over the man.

all you thought about was him, all day, all night. Sometimes he says he can't sleep sometimes since he feels like someone thinks of him. 'My bad'

Today was the day. You were gonna confess. You know you've only known him for 3 years but still.

"Kenma!"
"Hmm?"
"Hey hey hey! What's this fuss about?"
"Yeah, why are you so loud today (Y/n)?"
"Well, I want you guys to help me uhmm.."
"Help you what?" Today, Akaashi and Bokuto were over. So you had extra help

"Uhm, with confessing to Kuroo?"
"OH MY GOD!"
"Oh my lord"
"Oh"

They all said in shock. Kenma didn't seem as shocked as they were though. He looked like he actually knew you liked Kuroo, his best friend. He just knew everything, he might have even told people in his stream that he had suspicions that you liked Kuroo

"Uhm-"
"Look. Kuroo's dense sometimes, so don't be surprised if he actually looks confused if you confessed"
"Uhmm.. Okay?"
"Look! Just go find your way of confessing to the one you love! That's what I did to get Akaashi!"
"He failed while doing so"
"Hey!"
"He failed successfully"
"Uhm.. I'll just wait until he gets here"

~ later~

Kuroo got home and took a shower. You planned on confessing when everyone is asleep. It was time, you were gonna confess and you promise not to fuck it up.

"Kuroo!"
"Hmm? Tone it down (Y/n), you're gonna wake everyone up."
"Oh- sorry. I just wanted to talk to you.."
"Uh, okay?"

You both stood infront of the indoor pool and looked outside the big window.

"Uhm, I wanted to tell you..uh.. That I like you"
"..."
"Uh, it's okay if you do-"

Before you could finish your sentence, he kissed you.  It seemed rough but he actually kissed you gently, so you kissed back.

"..did I fulfill your dream?"
"..yeah, you did.."
"I'm glad you feel the same, (Y/n). I really am"
"Me too.. There is also another thing I wanted to tell you"
"Hmm? What is it?"
"I'm a-"
"Siren? Yeah I knew that all along"
"WHAT?!"
"I told you to tone it down idiot-"

~A few years later ( I like timeskip now lol )~

It's been 8 years. Three of those years were both of you dating. And the five is when you both are married. You both adopted two kids. Jirō and Takashi, both boys and are in first grade

Kuroo was by the sea again, this time he wasn't alone. He had a lovely husband that he loved with all his life and soul and children that he always would love to take care of and to never leave their side. That's what their past selves wanted, to never leave each other's side and raise children of their own happily.

Lol, this was a little rushed but I hope this is actually good- and yes, this is a "The Legend of The Blue Sea" inspired.
