It was a day in Nekoma highschool and everything was normal, only, your teams was going to a camp with different teams like Karasuno, Fukurodani. Your friend, Sugawara, was in Karasuno, while your cousin was in the same school as you. Kenma Kozume. Yes you're a Kozume, but you don't act much like your cousin. You were more of a (just add how you describe your personality-)

You are all in a van and you were just watching Kenma play on his phone. He was playing a random horror game and then-

"Hah!-.. Damn that nun.."
"You got killed?"
"Yeah, third time in a row.."
"Geez, she wont give you a break huh?"
"Clearly"

Yeah, you play along when Kenma complains about a game. It's fun to help him boost his energy just for an online game.

"Okay everyone! We're here!"

"Yes! Finally! HEY HEY HEY! HINATA HEY"
"BOKUTOOO"

You saw another van in the parking lot and you also heard loud shouting from outside the van. Sounded like other team members from other schools. You heard the names "Bokuto" and "Hinata". You immediately guessed that Bokuto was from Fukurodani, but you didn't know anyone named Hinata.
You and Kenma got out of the van and you saw a black and white haired boy talking to a shorter oranged hair boy.

"Bokuto!"
"Kuroo! Hey man!"

"Great.. Two noisy people.. No, make that three."
"What? Why?"
"Because you're here."
"HEY! THAT OFFENSIVE KENMA"
"mhm"
"Damn you..."

"Hey! I'm Bokuto! You are?"
"Uh, I'm M/n L/n. You're that one ace that's in the top 5? Pfft-"
"WAS THAT TO INSULT ME?!"
"Kinda"
"I'M NOT GONNA TALK TO YOU-"

You guys got in the gym and you almost recognised everyone.

"Suga-san!!"
"M/n!!! Hi!"
"Long time no see my guy!"
"Yeah! How are you?"
"Good! Kenma is on his phone as usual and Kuroo got more annoying the longer I stayed in the team."
"Hey! I heard that!"
"Sorry!*✌* not really.."
"Hahahha! Anyway, found anyone inter-"
"No, shut it Suga"
"Okay~ well, I've got to go now! I'll talk to you later after a practice match"

Your practice starts and it was a practice match between Nekoma and Fukurodani. Cats vs Owls, who will win? Idk either.

"Hey, M/n-kun!"
"Hmm?~"
"What's your position?"
"I'm a setter like Kenma"
"Ohhhh, okay! Lets see if you an beat our Akaashi over here, heeh heeh??"
"Sure. But I'm sure I'll loose against him."

Nekoma was doing well during that match, that's because Bokuto got into his "emo mode" after a split second of missing Akaashi's toss. And it seems that it got worse when I made a dump on the team.

"AHHH, THIS IS GETTING TOO FRUSTRATING"
"I mean, you can stop now since we won Kotarou-san"
"

YOU'RE FRUSTRATING"
"Okay- damn-"
"AKAASHI, LET'S GO AND EAT WITH THE OTHERS"
"Okay Bokuto-san, wait for me."

You hear footsteps storming out the gym and another few footsteps walking calmly. Bokuto and Akaashi were polar opposites and it seems like it was a common friendship thing. Kenma has barely shown energy and Kuroo is more confident and loud. Hinata and Kageyama share the same one braincell but the way they act is different. You? Oh the only friends you've got is Sugawara, Kenma, and Kuroo. Lonely is you? Yeah.

"Kenma!"
"Hmm?"
"Lets go and eat"
"Okay"

You and Kenma went to the back to eat. The smell of barbeque went all over and maybe a little kimchi.

You look over to Kuroo talking to someone and then Bokuto gobbles up all the meat on the grill.

"OH NO YOU DON'T, BOKUTO, YOU SON OF A BITCH"

Bokuto had something in you that rised. a feeling you've felt before, but refuse to feel it again after a long time.

"I know that look you have"
"Huh? What look?"
"You're in love."
"I'm not, Kenma. Bokuto is just a little loud."
"I didn't say who you were in love with.."

You both went silent. He didn't mention anyone so you froze in the name you just said. Kenma was still playing on his PSP while he talked to you.

"So you like Bokuto-san?"
"Huh? Oh, hi Akaashi. I.. Don't know what you're talking about."
"It's okay to tell me if you can't tell Bokuto-san yet."

You paused. You did keep staring at him at practice. Everything about him amused you. He was bright, to the point you'd somehow you wanted to get sunglasses to protect your eyes-. You thought about it for a moment.

"Well.. He really kinda amuses me and-"
"Yeah, you're in love."
"Lower your voice Kenma.."
"Oh so you're in love with someone again?" Kuroo gets into the conversation.
"Who is it?"
"No one, leave us be"
"Yeah, M/n! Tell us" and there he is.. You're crush that you really still aren't sure that you are really in love with-

"I said it's no one."
"It's B-"
"KENMA."
"...fine, I wont tell.."
"Thank y-"
"It's Bokuto."

A moment of silence came in. Bokuto paused and looked at you. You were only frozen in your zone, same position and all. 'Kenma is a snitch' you said in your head. He kinda is sometimes

"I hate you so much Kenma"
"You're welcome"
"I'm gonna k-" you were about to finish yor sentence but then someone dragged you. You looked to see Bokuto was the one dragging you along to the back. Kuroo, Akaashi, and Kenma just stood there. Kuroo gave a wave goodbye and Akaashi and Kenma gave you a thumbs up for a sign to say "good luck"

'I'm doomed..' You thought

You both finally get to the back of the gym and Bokuto stood staring at you.

"Do you really.. Like me?"
"Uhm.. I'm not sure either.."
"Hmm.. I love you!"
"Huh- HEH?! Ain't- ain't that too soon?.."
"I know, but I love you!"
"Stop saying lies you stupid owl.."
"Hey! I'm not stupid or an owl! I don't get why people say that.. But, I am telling the truth..I do love you"

You didn't expect that. Not at all- since when? What? Why though?

"I watch your matches between different teams. Your setting skills just amaze me sometimes and- I admire you so much when I watch you on tv.."
'A fanboy? Wow..'
"What are you? A simp? Pfft-"
"Wha?- NO I'M NOT"
"mmhm,sure Kotarou-san"
"..so uh.. Will you go out with me, M/n?"
"Yeah, sure Kotarou"
"Yes! So, when do you want to go out?"
"Saturday, 1:00PM, I'm free that time."
"Okay! I'll see you then!"
"Okay Kotarou. Do your best in practice later!"
"Will do!"
