Splash Town Fun

Amna’s POV:

“Wait, wait, wait!”, Hussain waved his hands in the air, “So you mean, we’re actually going to THE SPLASHTOWN?”, he asked, Shehry, with his eyes wide, pooping out of his eye sockets. Yup, he was as surprised as we were.

“Yup!”, Shehry replied, with a proud look on his face. He looked at me in the rear view mirror and smiled.

“You can’t be serious!”, I nodded at him.

“That’s what I’m saying!!!”, Hussain jumped. Hussain was hyper. Like literally, he was so excited.

“Calm down Hussain!”, Sana held his hand, “CALM DOWN!”

Shehry turned around towards us, “Lets get started, shall we?”, he said, squinting through his sunglasses, and we nodded, “YESS!”

He started driving, and Hussain couldn’t control his excitement. “Are we really going?”, he asked again.

“HUSSAIN!!”, Sana and I yelled in unison, and he stuck his tongue out.

“Itna sannata kyu hai bhai? Ganey shaaney lagao!”, Sana added, moving her hand forward, asking Hussain for the auxiliary cable.

He passed her the cable, and she plugged it into her phone, and scrolled through her playlist and finally played a song.

Kudiye ni tere,

Browng te,

Monde pat te ni sare,

Mere town de…

Played really loud, and we all covered our ears with our hands yelling, “SANNAAAA!”

“Ooops Sorry sorry sorry!”, she said, quickly sliding the volume bar on her phone to the left, lowering the volume.

“Goddd!”, Shehry nodded, “You listen to some really loud music!”, which made her giggle. “What Yo Yo Honey Singh has done to this generation!”, he added, still nodding.

“Yaar koi achoa gana lagao!”, Hussain made a sad face, and then extended his hand towards Sana’s phone and yanked out the aux cable. “I got this! I don’t like your playlist, mujhe lagane do!”, he said, smirking.

“Hussain! You don’t just pull out a cable like that! You’ll ruin my phone some day!”, Sana said in a very irritated tone, checking her phone’s cable port to make sure it was okay.

Hussain let out a sarcastic laugh before speaking up, “Phone kharab ho gaya toh kya? Future mein naya phone, maine hi dilana hai tumhe!”, he said, winking at Sana, making her blush.

“Hayeee….”, I nudged my elbow against hers, and she blushed even more.

Hussain plugged the cable into his phone, and played his music.

Ni main Kamli Kamli,

Ni main Kamli Kamli,

Ni main Kamli Kamli,

Mere yaar di…

“Kamliiiiii!”, Shehry yelled, “Hayeee Katrina!”

“Oye!”, I patted his shoulder from the back, “Bas!”

A slight smirk played across his lips as he said, “Tum toh talks hi na karo. Tum toh use jealousy’s feel karti ho!”, in his Mary-yum style, making us all burst into laughter.

Sana and I started lip syncing to the song,

Jheel dil ko kar gaya tu

Dariya dariya mere yaara

Akhiyan de mohalle mein har shaam tera aalam

Shab guzri te jag soya

Ni main jagiya nami danam

Hussain started dancing in the car, doing all weird steps, just like the ones from their vlog, and the entire car started shaking.

Mere mahiya sanam jaanam

Ki main kariya nami danam

Shab guzri te jag soya

Ni main jagiya nami danam

We all were jumping around in the car, with our windows rolled down, and music playing out loud. People around us, were staring at us, probably thinking we were some kind of freaks, who were on the loose. I swear, it was the best time of my life.

Shehry, didn’t jump around as much, because he had to concentrate on his driving, but he occasionally glanced at me through the rear view mirror, and smiled.

We finally, reached our destination, and I looked outside at the entrance of the Splash Town. People were waiting in huge lines, just to get inside.

“We’re gonna have to go through that!”, I said pointing at on of those lines.

“Nope! I got VIP passes!”, Shehry reached out for the passes in his pocket, and waved them at us.

We all, got out of the car, and walked over to the VIP gate, and presented our passes. The security guy, who was huge, and looked very rude, asked for our ID’s, and after carefully inspecting them asked us to pass our bags through the security check. Once that was done, he handed back our ID’s, and opened the gate for us to go in.

“Guys theme first, or water park?”, Hussain asked, looking around at all the rides in the theme park.

“THEME!”, we all yelled in unison. Going to the water park first meant, we’d all be wet, and wouldn’t be able to enjoy the theme park as much.

We first looked around at all the rides. There were so many of them. Diiferent kinds of rollercoasters, haunted houses, laser tag, paintball, gaint drops, freefalls, bungee jumping, sling shot etc.

“Guys that one!”, Sana pointed at a ride that was behind me.

Oh god! Please don’t let that be a rollercoaster.

I slowly turned around to see what she was pointing at. It was a rollercoaster, that basically required you to hang onto the seatbelt without any support, in such a way that you’d look like you were a superman flying in the sky.

“Superman! My favorite!”, Hussain exclaimed, grabbing Sana by the hand and walking towards the ride.

I can’t go on that one!

Shehry grabbed my hand, and started walking, but realizing that was a bit hesitant, he stopped.

“Kya hua?”, he questioned, turning around.

“I’m scared of roller coasters..”, I said, embarrassed.

“Are you serious?”, he started laughing out loud. “Noway!!”

“Yup, I am!”, I nodded.

“Kuch ni hoga! C’mon!”, he insisted, pulling me towards the ride.

“Shehry no please!”, I begged, but he didn’t listen to me and instead forced me to go on to the ride with him.

We waited for about 20 minutes, until it was our turn to get on to the rollercoaster.

Bismillah!

Hussain and Sana sat together on the front row, while Shehry and I, sat right behind them.

We fastened our seatbelts, and then the attendant came and checked just to make sure everything was okay. Finally, the attendant gave the green signal, and the seats began to tilt, making us go into a superman position.

“Mummyyyy!”, I yelled out closing my eyes, even before the ride had started, and that’s when I felt something on my hand. I opened my eyes, only to find Shehry holding my hand, with his eye closed.

“Shehry?”, I laughed.

“I’m scared too!”, he said, opening one of his eyes, before shutting it again quickly.

“Ya Allah!”, I laughed, “Ab kya hoga?”

The ride started off slowly, and Shehry’s grip got tighter.

Uff yeh toh mujhse bhi zyada dara hua hai!

It went up higher and higher, very slowly, and right before it was about to go down, I decided to open my eyes. I don’t know why. We were literally about 100 feet up in the air, and BAM!! The rollercoaster took a leap down with great speed, that set everyone else screaming, including Shehry and I.

He had his eyes shut during the entire ride, and once it came to a stop, he opened his eyes, and turned towards me, “How was it?”

I smacked his arm, “Don’t ask! Tumhare bharose aayi thi, turns out your even more scared than I am!”, I said, laughing out loud.

Before we knew, Hussain and Sana got off their seats and ran off to another rollercoaster.

Since Shehry and I were both scared to go on any other, we decided to head towards the water park. To my surprise, the water park had even scarier rides. Imagine the superman ride going through water. Yup, that’s how the rides were in the water park.

“Nahi, I aint going on any of those!”, I nodded, after having looked at each and every ride.

“C’mon Amna!”, Shehry insisted again, but I nodded, “Nuh-uh! Aint trusting you this time Shehru”, making him pout.

“Acha toh phir lets go eat something. Mujhe bhook lagi hai!”, he said, grabbing his stomach, looking around.

We spotted a restaurant, that was in the water park. Basically, its seating was in a pool, so when you sat down, your legs upto your knees would be inside water.

“That one?”, I asked him, pointing towards the water restaurant.

“Sure!”, he exclaimed, and we walked towards it.

When we entered the restaurant, it felt like we entered a different dimension. The atmosphere was very quiet, with a very soft music playing in the background. The lights were dim, and each table had a candle lit on it. The waiter, seeing us enter, came to us and escorted us to a table for two.

“This is going to be exciting!”, Shehry whispered, sitting down on the opposite side of the table.

“Definitely!”, I whispered back smiling.

The waiter handed us the menu cards, and said, “I’ll be back in a few!”, and left.

“You know, I’ve always wanted to have a candle light dinner with you!”, Shehry smiled, putting aside his menu card. He rested his left elbow on the table, and his chin on his left palm, and looked at me, and smiled. “Yeh dinner toh nahi hai, but lunch hi sahi!”, he winked.

He then reached out for the rose that was in the vase on the table.

“A rose for the madam!”, he said, handing it to me.

“Thankyou!”, I blushed, grabbing it from his hand and smelling it.

“Ab menu card bhi dekhlo.”, I laughed.

“I don’t care about what’s on the menu, as long as I’m looking at it with you!”, he smiled, making me blush even harder this time. “Order whatever you want.” Those words of his, literally made my insides go crazy.

The waiter arrived, and I ordered pasta for the two of us, and some juice.

As soon as the waiter left, Shehry grabbed my hand, sending chills down my body. “I could be here with you for the rest of my life! No one else exists right now.”

“Shehry-”, I said, but he placed his finger on my lips, “Sshhh! Don’t say anything right now!”, he whispered. I shivered a little, as his warm finger touched my lips.

He then reached out for a something in his pocket. He pulled out a tiny box, and looked at me.

He opened it, and I could not believe my eyes! It was the same ring that we had seen in Houston.

“OMG!”, is all I could say.

He grabbed my hand, and slowly placed the ring on my finger, “You’re the perfect date! Lets hang out again everyday…for the rest of our lives!”, he smiled, as he slowly pushed the ring up my finger. His finger brushing against mine, and his eyes fixed onto mine, just felt so perfect.

“Shehry yeh ring…”, I literally could not speak. I could not believe that he bought that ring for me. Like, OMG! That was the most expensive and the most beautiful ring that I had ever seen in my life, and I was wearing it.

“I had promised you!”, he smiled, rasing my hand upto his face, and slowly pecking it.

His lips touched the skin on the back of my hand, and instantly, a tear rolled down my cheek.

“You’re the love of my life!”, he added, and the leaned in towards my face. I could hear him as he slowly exhaled his breath fell upon the side of my face. “I meant it!”, he whispered into my ear, making me die a little on the inside.

My heart began to beat so fast, that it could explode out of my chest any minute.

“Holding you just feels so right!”, he said, seating back in his chair, while my hands were still within his.

******Author's Note******

Was this chapter boring?

I wanted to make it longer and wanted to include the entire romantic scene between them in this chapter. But then, since it Amna's POV right now, I wanna switch it to Shehry's POV so I decided to do that at the begining of the next chapter. So this romantic scene is going to continue, but with Shehry's POV, in the next! :) (Hope that made sense..)

Also, I feel like this story is getting a bit boring. Do you guys feel the same?

If yes, what would you like me to change, or add to make it more interesting. I wanna write something that you guys enjoy, so your opinion matters the most! :)

And lastly, I'm really sorry if this chapter was not upto the mark. Its because I'm a little sick, and my head's been hurting, plus I have loads to do for college. I didn't wanna go for an entire week without giving you guys a chapter, so I took out some time, and wrote this chapter for you guys....and thats why some of you may find it a little boring. Because hey...something is better than nothing...right? :P :P But I PROMISE, that the next chapter will be much more interesting, and I'll try to make it longer in order to compensate for this one! PROMISE!! :) :) :)

Love you guys! <3 :*
