Pakistan

**The seat belt sign has been switched on. Preparing to land in 10 minutes**

“Shehry uth!”, Hussain woke me, while fastening his seat belt. “We’re gonna land yo!”

I fastened my seatbelt, and then lifted the cover from the window and stared out at the little bit of the land that was visible from under the clouds.

As we started landing, I could see the beautiful land of Pakistan. The land I had missed so much, the land where I belonged. And the land that would make me face my past.

In no time, we touched down at the runaway, and in a few seconds, the plane came to a stop.

All the passengers tured on their phones, and started getting up to take out the baggages from their over head cabins.

We decided to stay back, and leave after most of the people left to avoid the crowd.

I looked at Sidra who was sitting on the seat behind me.

“So after how long?”, I asked her.

“4 YEARS!”, she jumped in excitement. “And you?”

“Seven!”, I replied, as looked out through the window.

Soon, the aircraft doors opened, everyone started going out, while we took our hand baggages from the cabins and followed.

The customs at the airport proceeded quickly, and it was finally time to step out of the airport.

“Oye Salman, aur Alishan aa gaye?”, I asked Hussain. They’re our cousins and were going to come to pick us up.

“Yeah they’re here! Api spoke to them.”

As we walked out of the airport, we saw our cousins waiting for us. We all were very excited seeing each other after a long time. We introduced them to the iDeewane crew, and vice versa, and then headed home.

I just wanted to go home and sleep, because I was so tired from the long flight.

Me, Hussain, Atif and Waqas stayed in one room, while Sana and Sidra stayed in the room with my cousin sister.

Nosh api and Khurram bhai stayed in a separate room with Iman and Shayan.

We all changed into our pj’s and decided to go to sleep when Hussain decided to speak.

“Main abhi aata hoon!”, he said, walking towards the door.

“Oye kithe chaleya?”, I asked him, even though I knkew exactly where he was going.

“Umm.. who pyaas lagi hai..”, he said avoiding my gaze.

“Pani hi chahiye, to yeh le..”, Atif threw a water bottle at him.

He turned around and said, “Thanks! Bhook bhi lagi hai…”

“Toh yeh le!”, Waqas threw a bag of chips at him. I guess we all knew what Hussain was upto!

“Guys woh..actually…”, he tried speaking but we didn’t let him.

“Bathroom jaana hoga…”, said Waqas.

“Nahi, shayad important call karni hogi..”, Atif spoke.

“Ya phir…?”, I raised my eyebrow, and Waqas and Atif jumped on me, “Ya phir kya Shehry?”, they asked in unison, pretending that they didn’t know.

“Hussain….am I right or am I…RIGHT?”, I smirked, and Hussain’s cheeks turned red as he blushed real hard.

“Itni bhi kya bechaeni hai bhai, kabhi thoda time humare saath bhi send kar liya karein…”, I smacked his head lightly, and he blushed even more.

“Tum log bhi na…”, he said.

Pretty soon we all got busy enjoying our first night in Pakistan. We were playing antakshari for a bit which turned into a pillow fight very soon.

Hussain’s POV:

Everyone was so busy having a pillow fight that I thought that was the perfect opportunity to sneak out.

I slowly crept up to the door, and slid past out, without making a noise.

“Phew”, I sighed, as I got out. “Shukar hai kisi ne notice nahi kiya.”

I then ran upto the terrace, and saw Sana waiting there, facing the beautiful night view of the city.

I very slowly walked upto her, and raised my hands and covered her eyes from behind.

“Whoa!”, she jumped in surprise, but then touched my hands and said, “You’re late!”

I moved my left hand to see the time on my watch. “Sirf ek ghanta late hoon..”

She turned around and widened her eyes, to which I made a puppy face.

“Ek ghante se yaha intezar kar rahi hoon, lekin nahi Hussain saab ko toh bas apni fursat se yaha aana hai..”, she said, tapping her feet on the ground, with her hands folded across her chest.

“Sana who-“, I tried speaking but she turned around without listening to me.

I know exactly what to do now.

I smiled, and very slowly wrapped my hands around her waist, making her gasp, and placed my chin on her right shoulder.

“Khafa ho?”, I asked her, kissing the side of her neck, very soflty, which made her twitch a little because of the sudden peck.

“Sain kya kar rahe ho? Koi dekh lega”, she said, trying to release free herself from my hands, but I held on.

“Toh dekh le! Pyaar karta hoon tumse, koi jurm thodi na hai.”, I said kissing her shoulder. I could literally feel her insides going wild at that moment.

“Sain..”, she moaned, trying to free herself again.

“Itni asani se to nahi jaane doonga Sanu!”, I said kissing the other side of her neck, making her moan again.

She smiled as she shut her eyes, “What do you want me to do then?”

I put my right chin forward, and tapped it with my left hand’s index finger.

“SAIN?”, she said with a smirk, widening her eyes, showing her hand as if she wanted to slap me.

“Thappar se darr nahi lagta saab, pyar se lagta hai.”, I said with a very serious face, trying to hide in my laughter. “Oh sorry, saab nahi…madam, madam!”, I stuck my tongue out.

She burst out laughing, and turned around and said, “Acha? Nahi lagta…??”

“Un-uh”, I nodded my face. “Lagta hai, lagta hai. Darr lagta hai, thappar se darr lagta hai”, I laughed and she laughed with me.

“Acha ab dedo…jaldi!”, I said tapping my cheek again.

“Thapparr?”, She smireked.

“Nahi! Kissy! Do do do!”. I closed my eyes.

I felt her face come closer to mine, and my heart began to beat faster in no time. Her warm breath fell on my face, and it gave me goosebumps all over my body. She very softly, placed her soft lips on my cheek, and it made my insides turn upside down.

I opened my eyes, as she pulled back, and snaked my arm across her waist and pulled her closer to me, with her chest colliding against mine.

“Bas, this is it girl!”, I said looking straight into her eyes.

“What is it?”, she asked with a very confused expression.

“As soon as we go back to Houston, Imma talk to my parents about you. I wanna get married to you as soon as possible Sana.”, I said, kissing her forehead, as she closed her eyes, and a tear escaped her eye.

“Ro kyu rahi hi pagli?”, I said wiping away the tear.

“You love me so much ‘Sain!”, she smiled.

“Who said I love you? I just wanna make halal love!”, I said sticking my tongue out and she banged her fist on my chest, “SAIINNNN!”

I laughed and wrapped my hands around her and pulled her closer in to me and hugged her.

“I love you Sana!”

“I love you too Hussain!”

We stood there hugging each other for 2 minutes and then suddenly, “Ahem! Agar romance, shomance khatam ho gaya ho toh…can I have my brother back now?”

I turned around to see Shehry standing by the stairs. Me and Sana quickly pulled away, and I spoke, “Umm..yeah I’m coming..”,  rubbing the back of my head.

Shehry smiled, and walked down, and I hugged Sana again and said, “Okay chalo we gotta wake up early tomorrow and go shopping for the premiere!”

She nodded and we went down to our respective rooms.

When I entered the room, I saw Waqas and Atif sleeping, and Shehry was doing something on his phone.

“Aa gaya Romeo? Chal soja! We have to go shopping tomorrow.”, he said, with his eyes fixed on his phone screen.

I nodded, and climbed up in bed and in no time I fell asleep.

**NEXT DAY**

“Mall of Lahore! How exciting?”, Sidra exclaimed as we all got out of the car to go into the mall.

“I know! What are you gonna wear?”, Sana asked Sidra, to which she shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know. You?”

“Don’t know either!”, Sana replied.

“Dude! You’re wearing whatever I choose for you.”, I told Sana and she smiled, “Sure Sain!”

We decided to go select the girls’ clothes first, and then go for ours. We entered this store that had all pretty long dresses, and gowns.

Sidra and Sana soon got busy choosing a dress for themselves, and Shehry and I, sat on the couch in the corner.

I looked around at all the pretty dresses, and my eyes fell upon a white-laced dress with a black belt around the waist.

“Sana!”, I called out to her and she turned around. “What?”

I pointed at the dress, and her lips widened in a broad smile. She picked it up and ran her hand across the lace. She then looked up at me, and mouthed, “Wow!”

I gestured for her to go and try it in the trial room, and she agreed. A few minutes later, I walked up to the room and knocked. “Kitni der?”

“Sain, this is sleeveless!”, she panicked.

“I know! Does it  look pretty though?”, I asked.

“YEAH! Its gorgeous!”, she exclaimed from the inside.

“Lemme see!”, I smirked.

“Its sleeveless!”, she replied in a shocked tone.

“So?”, I chuckled.

“So…I cant show you genius!”, she replied back.

I laughed, “Just kidding babe! Yeh lo.”, I said hanging the a cardigan that I picked up on my way towards the room, on the door knob.

“Kya hai?”, she asked.

“It’s a black cardigan that goes with the dress!”, I replied. “Aankhen band hai. Le lo!”

She peeped through the very slightly opened door, and glanced at the cardigan, and then quickly grabbed it and shut the door.

In a minute she opened the door, and infront of me stood the most beautiful girl I had ever seen!

“WOW!”, was all that escaped my mouth.

I can not describe how beautiful she looked in that dress.

“You’re wearing this for the premiere!”, I said, and she smiled.

Sidra came running towards us, and exclaimed, “OMG SANAAAA! You look so pretty!”, covering her mouth.

Sana, smiled and said, “Thanks! Okay, I’m gonna change now. Then we can pick a dress for you!”, and shut the door.

I turned around to go and sit on the couch while Sana changed back, but as I turned around I saw Shehry wasn’t there.

“Sidra, where’s Shehry?”, I asked confused.

“He was just here, with me looking for a dress. I don’t know where he went!”, she replied, looking around trying to find him.

I kept all around the store, and I suddenly spotted him standing right outside the door of the store, with his eyes fixed at something at a distance.

I went closer, and I noticed that his gaze was fixed at something far away.

“Yo! What’s up?”, I tapped his shoulder. “Tu bahar kyu aa gaya?”

He didn’t reply.

“Shehry!”, I tapped his shoulder again.

He raised his hand, and pointed at something at a distance.

“Kya hua?”, I asked, but he didn’t reply, and his gaze was still fixed.

I turned around and followed his hand, and then his finger to see what he was pointing at, but I couldn’t figure out.

I squinted my eyes, and saw that he wasn’t pointing at something. Instead, he was pointing at someone.
