"Oh, you're so sweet! Thank you, my boy!"

Minho bowed deeply at the old woman, conversing for a bit before they bid their goodbyes. He had baked cookies for his closest neighbours, seeing as he had gotten kimchi from the old woman he had just visited as a gift for moving in. Moved by this act, he decided to introduce himself to his remaining neighbours by baking them cookies.

The only person remaining was Jisung. He was even aware if Jisung was home or not, but seeing as Jisung was a streamer, most of his time was probably spent at home. Minho nervously pressed the doorbell, waiting patiently for the inhabitant to answer. Silence followed for a moment before he heard footsteps, and the door opened.

A puffy-faced Jisung greeted him — hair messy, eyes half closed and shirt practically hanging off his shoulder. Minho couldn't tell if he had shorts or boxers on, but his shirt hid half his thighs regardless.

He was adorable.

"J-Jisung — sorry to disturb you, were you sleeping?" Minho asked, suddenly nervous in front of the other. Jisung nodded, grunting a slight 'mhm'. "Well, sorry for that, but, uhm... sorry, I'll just come back later, you look tired—"

"No, no, it's fine," Jisung said quickly, standing up straighter as he stretched his arms behind his back. "How can I help you today?"

Minho held the brown bag in his hands forward, a small smile on his lips. "Here. A gift. I made cookies for the floor, and... I was worried you wouldn't be home. I made yours with coffee, seeing as you stay up so often."

Jisung's eyes were glowing at the remark as he took the bag of cookies. "Th... thank you..."

"Don't sweat it, just being nice," Minho smiled, putting his hands into his pockets. "Also, uhm... I wanted to ask... if you don't mind, of course, but... I made a large dinner, so... would you like to come over for dinner?"

Jisung stared for a moment, his eyes widened his shock. "Huh?"

"You're allowed to decline," Minho added quickly, feeling as he had somehow overstepped a boundary. "I'm sorry, it was a bit forward of me—"

"N-no, it's not that!" Jisung exclaimed, shaking his head and holding his hands out in defence. "It's just... you're so nice to me..."

This caused Minho to frown. "Am I not supposed to be nice or something? Regardless, though, you can say no, because you're not obligated to come over for dinner or whatever—"

"I'll come over." Jisung looked away shyly, dipping his head in thanks. "Just... call me over when you're ready."

"It'll be ready around 7pm, if that's okay,"  Minho informed, a smaller smile on his face. "Enjoy the cookies. See you tonight. Don't wear white — I made kimchi jjigae, and it'll probably make a mess."

Jisung just laughed as he nodded, bowing his head in thanks once more. "I'll see you tonight — h-hyung."

Minho was humming to himself as he placed the food on his table, somehow in a very good mood. Joining himself and Minho would be Hanni — since she had asked so nicely and had worked her way into spending the night at Minho's house. He wasn't too annoyed by it, but he was disappointed in himself for not being firm enough with the girl.

He heard his doorbell ring, and with a quick glance at the outside door camera, he saw Hanni showing a peace sign. He stood up, opening the door for the girl. "Hello~!"

"You're late. Did Aunty Canh drop you off?"

"No, my dad did," she corrected, kicking her shoes off and walking into the house. "Thanks for letting me stay the night. I thought you'd be angry with me by now."

"To be fair, you're like a little sister to me, so I feel obligated to take care of you," Minho replied, walking after her. "You can have a seat for now, I'll call over my second guest."

"Second guest? Is it that cute neighbour of yours?"

"Ha. Ha. Ha."

The doorbell rang again, and Minho knew it wouldn't be anyone other than Jisung. He answered the door, smiling when he saw a more nearly dressed Jisung. Granted, he still wore sweatpants, but it looked like he had bothered to brush his hair. Minho smiled as Jisung immediately bowed in greeting. "Oh, hello, hyung!"

"Oh, you're more cheerful now," Minho smiled, letting Jisung walk past him.

"Yeah, I got some time to wake up," Jisung replied, taking his shoes and walking further into the apartment. He saw Hanni at the table and bowed immediately. "Oh, hello."

"This is Hanni — I'm close with her sister, so inadvertently I've grown to take care of her," Minho introduced. "Hanni, this is Han Jisung — my neighbour."

Hanni widened her eyes, but Minho quickly shot her a wide-eyed stare. She laughed nervously, dipping her head. "H-hello."

"You can have a seat," Minho invited, walking further into the apartment. "Hanni is a little annoying, so don't mind her."

"You're annoying, uncle."

"Unc—?!"

Jisung laughed at the two as they bickered, taking a seat on the floor at the end of the table. "I heard you and your friends yesterday. Lively bunch, I must say."

"They're teenagers — it's a miracle that they're full of life," Minho chuckled, opening the lid of the pot in front of them. "We can dig in before the food gets cold."

As the trio ate while conversing casually, Minho noticed Jisung's hesitance to eat. He didn't eat as much as he'd hope, leaving Minho to think his food wasn't good — but a glance at Hanni devouring the food with a cheerful smile meant that it at least tasted okay. In his opinion, the food was good enough to not complain.

"Jisung — here." Minho placed another potato jeon on Jisung's plate, tapping with his chopsticks. "It's really good, try it with the ssamjang."

"Wah, I'm getting full," Hanni groaned, slurping more of the broth from her spoon. "Minho, you're so good at cooking. Who taught you?"

"Living alone for over a year means you have to learn to cook at some point," Minho replied, biting into a jeon of his own. "Learnt from YouTube and just practicing, I guess. How is it?"

"It's very good," Jisung nodded, taking a large mouthful of the jeon. Minho chuckled, placing another one down on the small plate beside his bowl. "Stop feeding me, I might burst."

"I'm glad you're enjoying my food," Minho smiled as he stopped chewing. He made eye contact with Jisung, bursting out in laughter when he saw how full his cheeks were. "Ah, cute!"
