Chapter 53

Harry wakes up from something wet and soft pressing on his cheek. He opens his eyes, looking straight into the crystal blue pair from Louis.

"Good morning, my love." Louis smiles and puts a stray of hair behind Harry's ear.

"So it wasn't a dream. You are my boyfriend?"

Louis chuckles and nods before pressing a soft kiss on Harry's lips.

"I am, at least if you haven't changed your mind?"

Harry shakes his head and pulls Louis on top of him, connecting their lips again.

"What's the time?" Harry's voice is still hoarse and he is really tired.

"It's 6:30."

"Why did you wake me this early, love? We still have half an hour that we could have slept. We slept barely 2 hours Lou, why would you wake up earlier than we have to." Harry whines, closing his eyes again.

"I was excited to wake up next to my boyfriend. I couldn't sleep because of the adrenaline. I'm sorry, I should have let you sleep."

Harry's stomach fills with even more butterflies. He doesn't get how they even still fit.

"That's cute. It's fine, babe. Are you still happy with the decision that you made?"

Louis nods heavily.

"So happy. I should have done it earlier. Also, I wanted to tell you Haz that I want to hold your hand in school. I'm not planning to hide anything. If I start hiding I'm not sure I will ever stop and I'm done with stacking my feelings. I'm happy with you and I'm proud that I'm the lucky guy who can call himself your boyfriend. I want to show you off. If it's alright with you I would like to make our relationship public."

"I'd love to, Lou. But are you sure that you are ready for that? I don't want to scare you off but people will judge you. I don't want you to do things that you'll regret later." Harry kisses Louis' cheek and takes his hand into his own.

"I'm 100% sure. I have you, right? And I know that Zayn and Perrie won't judge me. I honestly don't really care about the others. I never asked to be popular. I just want to be surrounded by the people that I love and that's you. I love you so much and as long as I have you I'm fine. You will stay by my side, right?"

Harry smiles and nods.

"Always, babe."

"Then I don't see why I would hide the most precious thing in my life."

Harry is on the verge of tears. He is so sweet. He has never heard this before. His previous boyfriends never wanted to be shown off and hook-ups always were asked to be kept a secret. They are still living in the closet. He is so proud of Louis and everything he has achieved.

"This means so much to me, Louis. You can't imagine how much this means to me, I... I'm sorry I'm lost for words. This relationship is already the best one I've been in and it's like 3 hours."

"I promise you'll feel the same after 30 years. I know I never really showed it and I gave you a hard time but I really love you, Hazza. I've never been so sure about something and I really tried to fight it but I can't. I, Louis Tomlinson, have fully accepted that I love you, Harry Styles."

"I never thought you would be such a sap in a relationship, Lou. I love it though. I love you."

"Want to go downstairs for breakfast and share the news with my mom and Lottie?"

"Wait, one more kiss."

Harry grabs Louis' chin and kisses his soft lips one more time before leaving the bed.

"I'll never get used to that." Harry whispers against Louis' lips, pecking them one more time.

Louis just smiles and grabs Harry's hands, leading him out of the bed and handing his crutches. He knows that if it depends on him they would never leave.

"Good morning, boys. Have you slept okay? Oh Louis you look a lot better than yesterday." Jay smiles, not noticing their intertwined hands yet.

"Not enough sleep but I'm good. Mom, I have to tell you something."

And that's when Jay does notice. Her eyes start to shine and she has a big smile on her face.

"Please tell me that you are going to say what I think you are going to say." Her eyes are full of hope.

"Well, we are boyfriends." Louis puts their linked hands up to give strength to his words and show his mother that they are serious about this.

"Oh, I'm so happy! LOTTIE! GET YOUR ASS DOWNSTAIRS NOW!"

It takes less than a minute for the grumpy twelve year old to enter the kitchen.

"What do you want, mom? I still had ten minutes of sleep. What's so impo..." she stops talking when she notices her brothers' hand in Harry's.

"Are the two of you..." she points from Harry to Louis and back.

"Yup." Louis says proudly, popping the 'p'.

"Mom you owe me ten pounds." The little blond says, opening her hand in front of her mother.

"What?" Louis is confused.

"We made a bet in Manchester. I said it would take less than a week for the two of you get back together. I win."

Jay rolls her eyes and gives 10 pounds to her daughter.

"I can't believe the two of you betted on my love life! You guys are horrible!" Louis' jaw drops and Harry chuckles.

"It's okay, love. People only do that when they see that two people really belong to each other." Harry lets go of Louis' hand and instead hugs him from behind, kissing his cheek.

"Don't tell me you are going to be this touchy and sappy all the time around the house because then I'll just walk around with a fucking bucket to throw up!" Lottie says rolling her eyes but fond still clear in her house.

"I am as touchy with my boyfriend as I want and I don't care what you think. He is mine." Louis turns around and presses his lips on Harry to prove his point to his sister. Lottie starts to make gag noises.

"Okay, that's enough! Lottie, stop overreacting and making those noises. Louis, Harry please eat some breakfast instead of each other. I made pancakes."

Both boys blush and walk over to the table, each taking three pancakes. Louis grabs Harry's hand under the table, mouthing an 'I love you'.

Harry couldn't be happier at that moment. He gives the smaller boy a smile, mouthing an 'I love you too.' They have breakfast together like a family, having the feeling like this is how it's supposed to be and should stay forever.
