It meant a lot that Ash said that to me, but he had been through so much more, and I felt terrible for him. A nurse walked into the room.
"Ah you're awake! I was just coming to let you guys know that you are free to leave today!"
Thank god, I hated hospitals.

"I'll go get Fez and Maddy, you can get changed in here while I'm gone"
"Thanks Ash" I made sure to hug him before he walked out. I got changed into what I was wearing when I blacked out, but I put the jacket Ash had left over the top.

After a few minutes Fez poked his head through the door
"Yo you ready to go?"
"Yeah I'll be one sec Fez"
I checked my phone and saw I had hundreds of texts and missed calls from Gia. Why was she calling me? She said she didn't want to speak to me because of my relationship with Ash. Still, it could be important.

When we got out to the car I sat in the backseat with Maddy while Ash sat in the front with Fez. He kept turning around to me to check if I was okay, obviously my face didn't change, but I tried to force a smile every time he looked back.
