Y/n pov:
When we got to Cassie's place I went straight up to Lexi's room. Ash stayed downstairs to help move the tables outside.
"Hey Lex!"
"Y/n omg heyyy!!"
She walked up to me and gave me a huge hug,
"Aren't you meant to be at school?"
"Well sort of, I had a fight and came straight here with Ash to help set up for Maddy's party"
"Ash? Who's that?"
"Fezco's little brother, but he's my boyfriend"
"Fezco has a brother? You have a boyfriend? I'm finding out so much new stuff right now"
"I'll tell you more later, you coming downstairs?"
"Yeah I'll be down in a few minutes"
I walked downstairs and could hear Ash speaking, I walked into the kitchen and saw that it was Nate. Why was he here already?
"Hey! It's y/n, finally decided to show your face?"
"Very funny Nate, hey Ash can you take me home to get ready for the party soon?"
"Yeah of course"
He seemed tense, I decided to ignore it, I didn't want to make things awkward. As I was walking out I heard Nate say something to Ash.
"So she's your little girlfriend? That'll make things harder for me won't it?" What did he mean make things harder? What was he planning?
"Nate wtf do you mean" Ash was getting angry now, I could tell by his voice.
"Well, I like y/n, I'm using Maddy to get closer to her, so that I can date her instead of Maddy."
"Nate I swear you stay away from her"
"Or what? I'll kill her if you get in my way"
Ash walked out and I pretended not to have heard anything,
"Y/n come on let's go"
"Ash what's wrong are you okay?"
He grabbed my wrist and started dragging me out to the car,
"Ash you're hurting me let go"
He ignored me and started walking faster
"ASH, YOU'RE HURTING ME"
I started crying, I couldn't help it
He turned around to look at me just as we got to the car, I saw Nate in the doorway of the house.
"WHY ARE YOU CRYING?"
"Ash- what is wrong with you"
"Y/N WHY ARE YOU CRYING? IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO TELL ME THEN JUST GET IN THE FUCKING CAR"
I got into the backseat, I was crying harder than ever, my whole vision was blurred.

At home:
As soon as we got home I got out of the car without saying a word to Ash, I went straight inside and locked myself in the bathroom.

A few minutes later Ash started banging on the door,
"Y/n are you in there?"
I ignored him,
"Y/N! IM SORRY OKAY? PLEASE JUST COME OUT SO I CAN SPEAK TO YOU"
"Ash just go"
"Y/n please, I love you."
I unlocked the door, and Ash walked in straight away, he saw me with an ice pack on my wrist.
"Did I do that?" He looked like he felt bad,
"Yes." I really didn't feel like speaking to him right now.
"Y/n I'm sorry, I really am, I was just mad, if I tell you I'm scared you might not believe me"
"Is it about what happened with Nate?"
"Ye- wait, how do you know about that?"
"I could hear you, I was waiting for you outside the door."
"So you understand me?"
"I mean sure, but you still need to apologise"
"Listen I'm really sorry, I don't want to lose you okay? So I got defensive and angry"
I got up and walked out, into Ash's room and sat on the bed, opening TikTok on my phone. Ash sat next to me and put his arms around me. I love him, but I need to show him he did something wrong before things are normal again.
"Ash." I said, turning off my phone.
"What? Is everything okay?"
"I need to ask you something."
"Of course, anything"
"Did you mean what you said?"
"What?"
"Outside the bathroom."
"That I love you?"
"Mhm"
"Of course I meant it, why else would I say it? You're the only person I've loved, and you will be forever"
I hugged him, I couldn't help it, I really did love him, and knowing that he felt the same way was the best thing ever.
