Maddy was calling for me downstairs, I must be running late. I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was already 7:54am. School started at 8am and it takes almost 10 minutes to get to school from where we live. I ran downstairs, grabbing my bag from the hook on my door. "IM HERE MADDY" I shouted, I can't believe I'm going to be late on my first day.

(Time skip)

Me and Maddy ran through the school gates just as the janitor was going to lock them. Wow we were lucky, "y/n I have to go to Nate, you gonna be okay going in on your own?" That reminded me, Maddy was still with Nate, he was a total asshole and I was hoping they would've broken up while doing long distance. I nodded "it's fine, bye mads see you later!" She gave me a quick hug and ran inside.

I was going to take my time, I'm not in any rush to get inside that dump. I felt Someone grab my shoulder and turned around, it was Gia! "OMG GIA I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN SO LONG AHH"
She just laughed " y/n chill, it was only a year, but still AHHHH I MISSED YOU SO MUCH I WAS SO LONELY I HAD NOBODY TO SIT WITH OH AND YOU MISSED SO MUCH DRAMA AND THERES ALSO A NEW BOY COMING IN OUR CLASS TODAY" she paused, sounding out of breath. She looked at me dead in the eyes and we both burst out laughing in the middle of the parking lot.
I got a notification on my phone, it was Coco, Coco has been my best friend since we were 3, and I couldn't wait to see her again.
