Y/N POV

I woke up feeling a little annoyed for some reason. I feel like today will be a shitty day. I look over to c/n who's sleeping next to me. I slowly got up and decided to get ready for school. I poured c/n's food and water then left the house. On my way I saw a familiar figure walking ahead. Should i greet him or is it too weird... I decided to walk faster so the familiar guy could notice me and approach me first. I deliberately bumped into him slightly so he'd notice. He looked a bit surprised when he noticed it was me.

"Good morning y/n! You live around the area?" Daniel spoke.

"Oh hey Daniel, yeah I live around here, I didn't expect to see that you live around here as well." I said, trying to act surprised.

"oh wow you cut your hair?" He asked startling me slightly.

"oh yeah, I'm surprised you noticed" I said scratching the back of my neck.

"You look great!" he exclaimed.

"...thanks" I said feeling a bit embarrassed.

"This is great don't you think? We can walk together from now on" The guy said with an excited look on his face. The both of us then headed to school making small talk about random things that came to our minds.

Once we got to class, we both decided to go to our desks, Daniel as usual had all the attention. I avoided being seen with him and attracting any attention. I went to my desk and saw Jay sitting peacefully looking out the window ok main character... I sat next to him earning his attention.

"...(Good morning)..." Jay somehow telepathically said.

"hey..."

TIME SKIP

The bell finally rang indicating its break time, lunchtime, I was about to put my head down and go to sleep but saw Daniel walking towards me.

"y/n wanna go to the cafeteria together?" he said looking excited. Beside him were girls admiring him and a particular girl clinging to his shoulder and... glaring at me..?? wtf.

"uh- Daniel I don't want to eat so... you can go without me-"

"are you feeling okay? do you need to go to the nurse's office" Daniel said with a look of worry evident on his face. damn no need to be so worried about me buddy...

"um- I'm okay i just want to sleep..." I sweat drop seeing how all the girls were glaring daggers at me. i ain't do nothing leave me alone you imbeciles.

"how can she reject such a handsome guy's offer"

"why'd he even ask her though..."

"she's so rude"

"but she's... kind of gorgeous"

Everyone was whispering while I just ignored them and put me head down.

"yes? what's up Jay?" I ask slightly annoyed by the action.

"...(you sure you're okay?)..."

"I'm alright. You can go and eat, I just want some sleep"

"...(okay, I'll bring you a snack on my way back)..."

"oh- you don't have to do that... but thanks" I said slightly taken aback by the guy's friendly gesture.

TIME SKIP (i'm kinda lazy...)

I slowly opened my eyes only to see the classroom empty. Assuming everyone was either still in the cafeteria or something big happened. I just decided to go to the cafeteria as well since I have nothing better to do.

Upon my arrival to the cafeteria I saw everyone's attention on a certain handsome troublemaker and buff guy with tattoos. The guy was gripping on Daniel's shoulder, seemingly trying to intimidate him and make him kneel.

"A fight!"

"It's Vasco from the Architecture Dept. and the handsome transfer, Daniel Park, from the fashion dept.!"

"Damn I heard that guy even beat Zack Lee"

What the fuck... I thought while witnessing the scene. This guy just keeps getting himself into fights... I squeezed through the crowd to get to Daniel. Though this makes me extremely uncomfortable i'll help the guy... I walked behind the so called Vasco and decided to copy his action. I squeezed his pressure point on the shoulder causing the guy to fall to one knee.

"!!"

"who the hell is that??"

"woah did she just make Vasco kneel??"

The whole cafeteria went silent upon seeing the scene that they just witnessed.

"what do you think you're doing?" I said looking down at the guy. The guy looked shocked and angry.

"Sorry if I bothered you. I thought you were someone else." Daniel said smiling at the guy, causing the guy to become more enraged.

"So-" I was about to say something when a guy suddenly interrupted.

"haha! So you thought he was someone else?" A guy with cute big ears cut in between Daniel and Vasco looking a bit nervous.

"yeah, sorry"

"nah, it happens" Jace smiled but nervousness was evident in his actions.

Everyone in the place looked disappointed as if they missed a show. All this is just entertaining for the ones not involved.

"what a guy!"

"he's so handsome ♡"

"that girl is also so cool"

"she's so gorgeous now that i look at it"

"what's her name?"

"i don't know but i think she's in the fashion dept"

Once the architecture dept. guys left i noticed a familiar guy looking at Daniel with an amused look. When he noticed me he looked somewhat surprised then he... glared at me????

Did I hurt your pride the other day? ha! did he expect me to fawn over him like everyone else? I thought, glaring back at the guy.

That girl... she's so rude, why did she act like that?? And what??? she goes to the same school?? And she's in the fashion dept? Eli thought.

"Y/n!" Daniel shouted, making Eli flinch upon hearing the familiar name.

"what's up?"

"Are you okay? Why did you do that? What if you got hurt?"

"Daniel... it's all good... i can take care of myself, just eat your food" I swear dropped from his motherly actions.

ELI POV

As I was observing Daniel Park, I couldn't stop looking at the familiar girl next to him, whom he referred to as 'y/n'... Why does she have to have the same name as... her. Besides, this girl is nothing like her. She was bright, kind, my first... love. The girl suddenly looked at me, startled I immediately looked away. I was staring for too long... this rude girl... she kind of looks like her. The girls around me were asking me random questions to which i just nodded or gave short answers to.

Those two look awfully close to each other, not that I care, it just pisses me off the more i look at that girl. Why does she have such a rude personality?
