"y/n!"

I ignored the call for my name.

"um y/n?"

I ignored the weirdo once more and just put my head down. Everyone in the classroom has calmed down and all I can hear now are footsteps getting closer and closer, making me nervous to the core. The tapping of the footsteps stopped right next to me. I have a weird feeling suddenly... shit. All of the sudden I feel a light tap on my head.

I ignore it.

I feel a tap once more. I ignore it again, more like, I'm avoiding the confrontation that's to come if I choose to not ignore it.

It's gotten awfully quite in this classroom... which is rare.

Shit that's it my patience can only last so much.

I flip my head up and see Eli right in front of me. His pointer finger extended as if he was about to tap me once more.

"What do you want?" I clearly displayed my discontent.

"..." he was silent for moment. All eyes in the classroom were on us. great, just what i wanted and needed... thanks pinkie. I thought while starting to get agitated. I got up from my seat, grabbed the hem of his sleeve and dragged him out the classroom. now i've gotta find a private place where no one will see us nor hear us.

"um, will you keep holding me like that?" Eli said from behind.

"oh my, why is that your only concern right now? why the fuck do you keeping approaching me in school anyway" I said, yanking my away.

"no need to be rude, i just had to clear up a misunderstanding"

"okay, say what you wanna say" I sighed.

"Yenna isn't my sister." he continued "she's my daughter."

"..." we stared at each other for a bit, Eli started to look visibly uncomfortable and somewhat nervous.

"is that all?"

"huh?" he looked surprised.

"look I don't really care, sorry i mistook you for siblings." i sighed while scratching the back of my neck.

"wha- wait, you don't have anything else to say?" he looked confused.

"what, did you want me to say something else?" I raised an eyebrow.

"well, you know many people would have a bunch of questions and complaints..."

"well, i could care less honestly. Besides it's not my place to ask anything, and it's none of my business. Also even if I would want to ask questions, I would ask questions to you if I wanted to get closer to you or if i'm interested in you. You don't fit neither of those categories. So now, if that was all you wanted to say, i'll get going." i said bluntly. "also, don't approach me like that in school, as if we're familiar with each other. It's annoying, all that attention you attract. You also seem like a stalker." I went back to the classroom.

THIRD PERSON POV:

Eli stared at the back of the girl walking away. He had a swirl of emotions that seemed indescribable. she... just keeps getting difficult to figure out. Though, she's not as bad as I first thought... Eli thought with a dazed look. The more I see her and talk to her... the more she resembles her. Unconsciously a small smile crept on Eli's face with a small tint of pink on his cheek.

"Eli~"

"why were with that rude girl eli~"

"you always look so dreamy eli~" Eli's admirers all gathered around him as usual.

Y/n finally got back to class and as she entered, she noticed all eyes were once again on her.

"y/n!" Daniel's cheerful voice was heard. "wanna go to the snack bar?"

The girl sighed in relief, "sure let's go" Thanks to Daniel I can escape the stares and that awkward atmosphere in there. "It's my treat"

"huh? really!?" Daniel looked delighted.

"well yeah, it's my thanks to you"

"thanks? for what?"

"nothing, forget it, let's just go"

TIME SKIP

After school, as usual y/n was packing her stuff, though there wasn't much to pack. Her and Daniel decided to walk home together. Their way back home was normal, nothing out of the ordinary, aside from everyone's eyes being on them. Undeniably both of them were extremely good looking, anyone would mistake them for a couple. As always they ignored their surroundings and were immersed in their random conversations about random things.

"ok see you tomorrow"

"bye y/n! I'll see you tomorrow"

Y/n put her bag down and changed her clothes. She took out her contacts, her vision is awful. She can't even tell who she's looking at without contacts in. She put on her glasses and ate some food while watching her favourite show.

Today was unusually boring after the incident with Eli. The girl has never felt this bored because being alone and going through the day without any drama was normal to her. But now she's been wanting more drama... or something entertaining at the very least.

"dad... father... he's her dad... not siblings... i wanna see Yenna... she's really adorable... entertaining... fun..." Y/n muttered while in a daze "but it's wrong to just go and wait for Yenna there... i was rude... dad... her dad... i was mean... it'll be awkward...what to do... shameless..."

Y/n jolted up as if she'd come to a conclusion and muttered to herself again "whatever i'll just go out for a bit"

Y/n walked around with no exact destination. She just randomly walked around to see where her wandering legs would take her. Without noticing, the girl has subconsciously arrived to a familiar spot. The same park, the same bench, where she met the brown eyed brown haired toddler... with a dad. [something y/n doesn't have 🤭].

"oh..." y/n let out a sigh while taking a seat.

A little while passed and as always, y/n felt a familiar tug at the bottom hem of her hoodie. She expectantly looked down to spot the toddler, and ears heated up at the sight of the adorable little girl in front of her. how can she look so cute... SHE HAS PIGTAILS IN OH MY GOD SHES SO ADORABLE WHAT THE FUCK!

"oh it's you again." y/n said with a straight face.

"ba!" the toddler exclaimed while holding her hands up gesturing to be picked up.

"you want me to pick you up?"

"bu!" Yenna responded with puppy eyes.

"so cu- ehem. um sure" y/n looked at the toddler with a light blush on her cheek. SHE WANTS ME TO PICK HER UP! OMG SHES SO DEVASTATINGLY CUTE! I CANT HANDLE THIS ANYMORE OMG! y/n internally cried. [she's blushing from the embarrassment and because she thinks yenna is so cute! so please don't misunderstand this to romanticising or sexualising yenna :)].

As Yenna and Y/n were enjoying each other's company, a distant yell could be heard.

"Yenna!" the voice called.

"Oh god! Yenna where are you!!" it called again.

"Yenna!! what am I gonna do now?" the voice kept getting closer and both Yenna and Y/n looked in the direction of the sound.

"is that your mom yenna?" Y/n said while staring at the unfamiliar figure.

"bla." Yenna shook her head.

"you understand me? that's cool."

"bu" Yenna nodded her head.

"cut- weird ahh kid"

"oh my god yenna! there you were!" the unfamiliar woman came running towards the two.

"excuse me! why are you holding onto her! did you kidnap here?!! leave here!" the woman yelled while she kept running closer.

"what the f-" y/n glanced at the toddler before continuing her sentence "heck."

"hey who the hell are you!" the woman was finally in front of the y/n and yenna. The two just stared at her blankly, angering her.

"let yenna go!" she frowned.

"..." y/n just kept staring blankly.

"hey! are you deaf?!"

"are you stupid? what the fu- fricks wrong with you dumba- dumb ahh brain? cant you see that the child wants to sit with me? if i wanted to kidnap her i would've snatched her away before you even came" y/n said coldly making the unfamiliar woman flinch at her tone.

"you- who do you think you are talking to like that?! i-i'm that child's soon to be mom!" she shouted.

"... i don't care. take her, if only she wants to go with you that is" y/n stated indifferently.

"let's go yenna!" the woman reached out to the toddler only for her hands to be slapped away by the kid. "Yenna! you little- i'm calling your dad!" besides it's an excuse to see my sweet Eli~ but wait what if she sees him and my Eli falls for he- nahh she's so dull and dead looking no one would even glance at her. the woman thought with a smirk.

While the woman made a call to the dad of the toddler with a weird tone, the h/c haired girl and the brown haired toddler just stared at the weird woman with identical cringing expressions.

After a few minutes, Eli could be seen running with his works attire still on. The woman looked ecstatic with sparkles in her eyes at the sight of the guy.

"Yenna!" he shouted panting.
