Fixation ✘ The End of an Era

The family is holding a meeting, where they discussed being torn over the idea of renewing their contract with E! in a multiyear, multiseason deal, or simply ending the show for good.

The discussion was filmed on their iPhones as they don't want the crew to film it and have them hear the conversation, but at the same time, they wanted to document it because it was an important day.

While Kourtney thinks it's definitely time to close this chapter in their lives and move on, Kim agrees, noting that so many factors have made filming complicated recently.

On the other hand, Kris toys over whether ending the show is the best thing to do, seeing as it's the family's biggest blessing and the foundation for everything else they do.

Meanwhile, Khloé wants to hold onto the show for a bit longer and remains unsure about putting an end to it.

"I think it's like, everyone wishes that it could be less. Do I think we all need a break sometimes? Yeah, but I don't know if that necessarily means like, to stop," Khloe says.

Kris ends up taking a final poll: "All in favor say 'aye.'"

"Aye," Kim and Kourtney said - before Khloé hesitates and finally agrees with the rest of the family.

"Majority rules," Khloe said. "Aye." Khloe added.

Having to tell everybody, Okay, well now this is all coming to an end, it's just, it's really devastating. I hate this year so much.

After coming to a general consensus to end the show, the ladies gather outside with their production crew to deliver the news.

"There's no easy way to say this, except, just to say it because we love you guys all so much, and it's almost like ripping off a band-aid," Kris says as she holds back tears. "We just wanted to tell you in person that we won't be going forward with filming the show anymore. It's been a really excruciating decision to make. This journey has been the most incredible thing that we've ever done, and we can't even express the appreciation that we have for you along the way." Kris continued.

Each of the sisters then chimed in to express their gratitude for the crew.

"I hope you guys feel respected and appreciated because even if we don't say it, I think of you guys as my second family. I know we're all really really grateful," Khloé said. "When it's happy, it's happy, but when people are there for you when life f*cking sucks, that's what matters,"Khloe added.

The family and members of the crew are reduced to tears over this heartbreaking decision.

After sharing their decision with the production crew, the family reveal that they're ending the show to their friends and family before the news is announced to the world.

From Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban to Caitlyn Jenner, the family informs their loved ones about their decision, which took most by surprise.

Meanwhile, Kourtney confides in her husband, Dwayne, about comments and memes on social media, declaring that she single-handedly took down the show.

Kourtney says she's bothered by the comments, noting that she would have continued with the show had the rest of her family wanted to.

"Every time our contract's up, we always have this conversation of like, 'Do we want to keep doing this? What are we happy with? What do we want to do?'" Kourtney explains to Dwayne. "If everyone wanted to keep doing it, I'm sure I would have kept doing it too. Unless I found my island to move to...."Kourtney said.

At the end the family agrees to make the most out of their last weeks of filming.

They're going to ride this decision out and close this chapter, and then they'll see what's on the horizon for them next.
