My life is no life without you

So some of you wanted this to be left out and this is my favourite moment as well so here it is...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Xiao Bai?"

He made her lean away, so he could look at her face, the colour was drained from her face, her lips were pale.

"Di Jun..." She coughed and vomited blood, a pain shot through her heart she clutched it only to realize that her wound was completely open and blood was soaking through her white robe. She stumbled and Dong Hua caught her worried, he led her to bed and laid her down, sitting beside her.

"Xiao Bai when you got hurt like this?" He covers her hand holding it over her wound.

"Di Jun...Mi Gu has medicine....can you go out?... I put a privacy barrier," She managed to say that over her pain, breathing heavily.

"Yes, hold on this tightly" He commanded and got up.

Feng Jiu grabs her wound tightly as the pain became excruciating, tears started to peeker through the corner of her eyes. Her other hand curled up in the bedsheet.

Dong Hua comes with medicine and bandages. He sat beside her, removed her hand. Feng Jiu opened her squeezed eyes and tried to take the tray from him.

"Don't move," He commanded. He untied her robe.

"What are you...?"

He silenced her with a stone stare, uncovering just the wounded part, he started to clean the wound and bandaged it. Looking indifferent, regal, his moment unhurried.

Feng Jiu closed her eyes, putting her arms over her eyes, suddenly feeling embarrassed. Dong Hua tied her robe back when he was done and grabbed her wrist, removing her arms from her eyes but her eyes were still squeezed shut and she was not breathing, she didn't even twitch.

He shifted himself and sat on the side of her head.

"Get up," He said, touching her shoulder. She slowly opened her eyes nervously looking up at him only to be met with his upside-down indifferent look.

"Di Jun..." She uttered unsurely. He touched her shoulder, silently indicating to her from his eyes to get up, she did not meet his eyes. He gently held her from the shoulder from the back and made her lean onto him, Feng Jiu was frozen in her moment, her hands curled in front of her, she didn't know why he suddenly felt nervous and shy, Feng Jiu! Feng Jiu! he just bandaged your wound. She told herself flushing.

Dong Hua brings the medicine bowl on her lip, she looks up at him.

"Drink," He said, meeting her eyes.

The nervousness that was rising up to her throat vanished, as the familiar gesture remind her of a memory of a beautiful dream that they once shared thousands of year ago, he used to just like this make her lean on him and make her drink medicine, whenever she was sick, especially then when she took the arrow for him.

Dong Hua met her admiring fox gaze, not knowing what was making her look at him like that. When she didn't move to drink the medicine, he gave her a scolding stare.

"Jiu'er,"

She looked at the medicine bowl as he called her that, something warm and fuzzy built in her belly and she started to drink the medicine as he held the bowl to her mouth, she was smiling internally. When she finished it, Dong Hua put the bowl away.

"Now, tell me," Dong Hua started in his indifferent voice.

"About what?" She looked up at him with an innocent questioning gaze.

"How did you get injured like this?" He asked, his gaze hardening.

The warm fuzzy feeling froze and diminished as a cold nervous feeling started to build itself in her belly. Crap! She looked away from him and her lips. What do I tell him?! I never thought of what I would tell him if he noticed my wound or the fact he asked how he got cured? I can't definitely tell him the truth! Aaaa!

"Jiu'er" He touched her chin and made her look up at him and he bored his stone-hard gaze into her soft nervous one, she swallows.

"This wound seemed to be stabbed multiple time, you can't lie to me,"

Feng Jiu scrunched up her face, not meeting his gaze.

"Let me make it easy for you, how did you cure me?" He asked, his face inexpressive as ever.

Feng Jiu looked down, making him release her chin.

"Zhe Yan said there was no other way, the poison had reached your brain" She admitted in a low voice, scratching the back of her ear.

"How many times?" He asked.

"Two times," She answered, stealing a glance at his inexpressive face.

"That wound is not of just two times," He stated.

"Two times, every day" She shrank further in his arms.

"And How long I was unconscious?"

"Three hundred years," She whispered.

Dong Hua closed his eyes because this time he was not even sure how to explain what he felt at that moment, but he knew he never felt so much in his life, his immortal divine soul was not ready for that. He opened his eyes, and stroked her hairs, tucking them behind her ears, wrapping another arm around her waist, making her back pressed further in his chest, pulling her closer.

Feng Jiu wasn't sure what he was going to do next as he swallowed the gasp as his arms wrapped around her waist tightly, holding her close, his touch left a burning trail behind. He leaned to her ears, his warm breath fanning her neck, heat travelling down to her core. His other hand touched her shoulder slightly.

"Jiu'er, you just scolded me for putting my life in danger," He said in a warm, hard and dangerous whisper.

Feng Jiu breath hitched and looked at him nervously, she should be terrorized but there was something else was brewing slowly deep in her core, and it felt good, her mouth went dry.

"What would have I done with life if you wouldn't have been here," She whispered, met his intense gaze with her own.

"What would I have done with life if I could not share it with you?" He leaned further, making their face come closer, the heat raised in their skin.

"But you should have told me," She whispered, leaning into him, their nose touching.

"And you shouldn't have stabbed your heart," He said in a low voice, his black cold stone eyes ready to consume her, she completely turned her in his arms, like gravity was making her move.

"Says the man who carved half of his heart to make me a ring," She said against his lips.

That did it, he enveloped her lips into his, possessing her, his cupped her small neck, guiding her according to his will, while she just kissed him back, this kiss was not savouring or talking about parting, There was all-consuming heat, burning them, he pushed her flat on the bed, pinning her hands on it, the force made her gasped her eyes open in shock then she closes them as he tongue met with hers, she soon finds her lost in his passion and she was not sure if she would be able to find herself again.

She gasped for air when he finally released her lips, she blinked up at him getting her senses back bit by bit. Her thoughts came back to her.

"I should stop, otherwise your wound will open again," Dong Hua said in a calm voice, he was not even breathless, not even a little bit.

After her breathing went to normal she waited for him to lean away from her and released her hands but he didn't. Instead, he kept looking at her, she looked away from his intense gaze.

"Di Jun...."

"Let me look at you, Xiao Bai," He stroked the side of her face, freeing her hand
