The next few questions were simple. Didn't have to think about them too much, which I was thankful for because I was still processing it what Hawks told me about his life. It broke my heart, and it continued to break my heart, knowing what he went through as a child. Not being able to get the love that he deserved. The love that he wanted.

"Favourite colour? Mine is gold."

"Really? I thought it would be red, cause of your wings." Hawks shook his head enthusiastically, making me stifle a laugh. Cute. "Mine is [insert fave colour here]. How fast can you go?"

Hawks smirked at my question. "Wow, songbird. Didn't know you were inter..." He immediately cut his sentence off when smacked his arm, making him laugh. "Kidding. According to a fan, it's about 375 kilometers per hour, but I'm pretty sure that isn't my top speed."

I was shocked was by that. "Uhh," I tried to wrap my head around what he said, and tried to imagine him going that fast, but I just couldn't. "Now your catchphrase makes sense."

He laughed. "Man, wish I could change it, but I'm stuck with it. What's your worst injury?"

"Huh," I thought about it for a moment, "I've been stabbed once or twice. Or was it three times? I think I got poisoned once by someone's quirk, but that memory is still foggy. Does that count?"

Hawks blinked a couple of times and had an incredulous expression. "Yes! I think that counts! What's with you and being so carefree about shit like that?"

"Is that one of your ten questions?"

"I...sure, I guess?" Hawks shook his head.

I puffed up my cheeks then let the air go. "I guess I kinda got numb, or at least, used to it since my mom would always get hurt. And then I joined the hero course and got assigned to a teacher that, well, went plus ultra when it came to training. So, yeah."

There's also that special reason thanks to him, but let's not bring that bad memory up right now. And Hawks doesn't need to know about him.

"My worst injury is my heart getting broken," Hawks said as he clutched his chest, "it still hurts thinking about it."

I looked at him, trying to see if he was being serious or not. One thing that I learned about Hawks in the past two weeks is the fact that I can never tell when he's lying, let alone, when he's being serious. And I hated that.

"As for my question," Hawks caught my attention, "how can someone win your heart?"

"I'm not going to..."

He waved a finger at me. "Nah uh uh. You gotta answer, chickadee. That's part of the game."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. Whatever. [Insert ways to win ur heart here]." (a/n: tbh i'm really curious to know what u said here)

"Interesting," was all he said while nodding his head. I knew that he was plotting something, but I just didn't want to know right now.

"If you weren't a hero," I said, wanting to move on in the game, not even caring to know his answer to his own question, "what would you be?"

"A model," Hawks opened the building door for me, letting me go in first, "why do you think I do it on my days off?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Just thought that it would satisfy your need and want for attention."

We walked to the elevator and waited until it came down.

"What about you, chickadee?"

"Probably work at my dad's plant nursery," I shrugged my shoulders, "or a/an [insert a job that u want]."

The elevator dinged, and before the could doors open, and without thinking, Hawks grabbed both of my shoulders and moved me to the side, pulling me closer to him. As soon as the doors opened, four or five people rushed out of the elevator, not caring if they bumped into someone. I told Hawks a quick 'thanks' before pushing myself away from him. We got into the elevator and Hawks pressed the 7th floor button.

"What's your next question?" Hawks suddenly asked and then said, "you just got one more questions after this one."

"Can you pay for lunch today?"

Hawks was thrown off by my question. "If that really going to be one of your questions?" I nodded, making him chuckle. "Yes, I'll pay for lunch. Was going to do it either way, so you just wasted your turn."

"Darn," I sarcastically said.

The elevator stopped at the seventh floor and as soon the doors opened, Hawks was pulled by his shirt by a petite woman. She was yelling at him, telling at him that he was late to the appointment, all while insulting him in a different language. Seems like this was a usual thing for her because Hawks was unfazed by her words, and would answer back in the same language. I quickly followed after them and hoping I wouldn't get lost on the way. They finally went into a room with double doors and I quickly slipped in before the doors closed. It was a large studio, with a huge white background at the back of the room and fluorescent lights everywhere. Hawks was quickly being taken to where the makeup counters and clothes were at. I stood there, awkwardly, not knowing what to do. Part of me wanted to leave, but the part of me that wanted to see him model was really curious and stubborn.

"Hi," a soft voice said next to me, "I've never seen you here before."

"Such a pretty eyes," the makeup artist said as he was putting on the eyeliner, "and such a pretty face, too."

I tried my best to not move while chuckling softly. "Stop, you're going to make me blush."

After he finished, he let me look at myself in the mirror. Once he was satisfied with his work, he left to work on the other model for the shoot. From the mirror, I could see Y/N standing there, looking around, not knowing what to do. She really is cute. Then Akito, another model, one that I never got along with, stood next to her, wanting to strike a conversation with her. And he did.

"Hi Hawks!"

"Hi Uwabami," I smiled at her as she was powdering her nose, "haven't seen you in a while."

Uwabami pouted her lips. "Where have you been? I missed working with you!"

I looked back at the mirror, wanting to catch a glimpse of Y/N again. "I've been busy, to say the least."

"Oh? Is that a lovestruck smile that I see?" Uwabami's voice was teasing.

"Hawks, Uwabami, Akito" the assistant to the photographer yelled out, "you're needed on set!"

As we walked to the white backdrop, Uwabami nudged me and asked me who I was dating and when is she going to meet the lucky girl. I told her that I wasn't dating anyone, but didn't tell her that there was someone who caught my eye. Before she could ask who it was, I walked over to where Akito and Y/N were at. Y/N was the first to notice me, immediately complimenting me on the look, then adding a side comment to her compliment, making me roll my eyes playfully. Akito was about to talk to Y/N again, but I made one of my feathers drag him to the white backdrop.

"Sorry about that," I told Y/N as she looked at him with a surprised expression. "He has a photo shoot to do."

Y/N shook her head disapprovingly. "You could have just told him that, instead of dragging him away."

I shrugged my shoulders. "Yeah, but it was more fun this way."

"Sometimes I think you prefer to use your quirk for evil instead of good." Y/N laughed softly, making my heart beat faster in my chest.

Dammit. She has the cutest laugh.

"Nah," I flicked her forehead using one of my feathers, "I just like teasing people."

Then the assistant yelled out my name again.

"You better go, Hawks," she turned me around and gently nudged me forward, "before you get yelled out again."

I laughed at her persistent nature, but didn't say anything back to her. I passed by the photographer and quickly apologised for being late and stood in between Uwabami and Akito.

"Didn't know she was your girlfriend, pretty boy," Akito said through his usual fake, photoshoot smile. "She's pretty cute."

"Oh!" Uwabami quickly broke character and looked around the studio, "which one is she, Akito?"

The photographer got after us for talking during the shoot, making us go back to our work persona. But that didn't last long.

"She's not my girlfriend, Akito." I want her to be though. "We work together, and I'm helping Fat Gum with a mission of his."

Y/N was walking around the studio and finally stopped behind the screens where all the photos were at. She leaned forward a bit and I saw her smiling as she looked at the pictures. Then she took out her phone and took pictures of it. When she looked up and saw me staring at her, giving her a knowing smile, her face got red with embarrassment. Y/N sticked her tongue out at me and looked away.

Fuck. That was really cute.

"Hawks?" Uwabami voice brought me back, "did you hear what he said?"

"Of course he didn't," Akito said, bumping into my shoulder on purpose as he walked to Uwabami's side, "Pretty boy has his head somewhere else."

I laughed sarcastically, putting my arm around Uwabami's shoulder. "Don't forget that I'm still the fan favourite, Akito."

This made Akito expression changed to a bothered one. Akito has been after my top position in the modeling agency, but no matter how much he has tried, he couldn't get past the top five. The photoshoot finally ended after two and a half hours, espeically when Akito and Uwabami kept complaining about the backdrops and arguing about who wanted to be in front. I walked back to the makeup station and sat on the chair, scrolling through Instagram as I waited for the makeup artist to take off his masterpiece.

"You looked like a natural," Y/N said behind me, making me look up from my phone. I looked at her from the mirror and saw that she had her usual soft smile. "Either you love the camera, or the camera loves you."

Y/N walked around me, standing next to me, and looked down at the make up counter.

"It's a mutual love, songbird. So," I put my phone away, "what are you going to do with the pictures that you took?"

She grabbed a cotton pad and bottle that had a clear liquid. "I don't know what you're talking about, Hawks." She opened the bottle and placed some of the liquid on the cotton pad.

"So, you're going to pretend that I didn't see you taking pictures of the ones the photographer took?" Y/N's face was getting red and I couldn't stop myself from smiling like a fool. I really like teasing her.

Y/N stood in front of her, and for the first time, we were at eye level. I couldn't help but take in all her facial features. One of my favourite things about Y/N are her [insert ur eye colour here] eyes, and how one could easily get lost in them. That's something that I always wanted to do, but whenever we're face-to-face, Y/N would always look away, never giving me the chance to look into her eyes. She pushed my hair back and gently placed the wet cotton pad on my eye, removing the makeup. I could feel my chest tighten and my heart beating faster and faster. She smelled like spring, a smell that I grown to love and miss when I wasn't around Y/N. When she finished with one eye, she went to the next, always gentle, and asking me if I was okay. Then I saw a quick surprised expressed flash on her face.

"Is something wrong, songbird?"

"It's just," Y/N stepped back and looked at me, "I thought the little triangles was part of your costume."

I laughed softly and shook my head. "Nope. Was born with them. Pretty sure they're part of my mutant quirk like my wings."

"I see."

After a minute or two, Y/N finally finished removing my makeup. She stood back and turned around, putting the bottle back on the counter. Before she could move away, I leaned over and put my chin on her shoulder. We were looking at each other through the mirror.

"Would you go on a date with me?" What am I asking? What the fuck, Keigo?

She was immediately surprised by my question and her face got red. "What are you talking about?"

"Did you forget that we're still playing the question game?" I smiled and moved my head, resting my cheek on her shoulder.

"I didn't forget. I just don't want to answer it," Y/N admitted.

I laughed softly and shook my head, well, at least tried to. "Nah uh. The rules said that you have to answer. If I asked, would you go on a date with me?"

Y/N looked away and I saw that her face was red. She was quiet for a while, making me anxious, something that I never felt before. I was going to change the topics, but Y/N finally spoke.

"Yes." I quickly lifted my head up from her shoulder and tried my best to not look surprised by her answer. "If you asked me on a date, I would probably say yes."

I could see myself starting to smile in the mirror while Y/N looked back at the mirror.

"So, Y/N, will you go..."

She turned around and quickly placed a finger against my lips, surprising me by the sudden gesture.

"Sorry, Hawks," her usual soft smile was replaced by a cheeky one, "but that was your last question, and you haven't given me the chance to ask my last question either."

I gently grabbed her hand, and before I pulled it away from me, I kissed the back of her hand. "What's your last question then, baby bird?"

Y/N shook her head and winked at me. "Not going to ask it yet, Hawks. Sorry!"

Before I could say anything back, Y/N quickly left, making me look at her from the mirror. She's going to be the death of me, isn't she?
