Lord of Fiends

Hey.

Still not feeling well, but I'm getting there. Still have to work tho.

The chapter would have been longer, but Wattpad is slow. Every word I write takes like 5 secs to appear on the screen. It is mind-numbing.

Let's get back to it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rhodes Island was unusually quiet as many operators and employees were glued to the various T.V. news networks on screens. For once, it wasn't the Lungmen news station that stole the show but news networks belonging to Laterano.

The screens showed everyone that Laterano had become a battlefield. Scenes of chaos and infighting as beautiful ornate buildings and clean streets were damaged or destroyed as Sankta could be seen taking shots at other Government forces.

A pretty Female Sankta with golden hair and purple eyes stood in a large open square dominated by a sizeable battle-damaged fountain; she ducked and covered while speaking into a camera, trying to talk over the sounds of gunshots.

"The Lateran Curia has declared a state of emergency, a curfew has been put in place, and Apostolic Gun-Knights have been deployed to the streets to quell the dissenters that aim to cause reckless misery to the civilians."

Behind the Reporter, two Apostolic Knights cautiously walk by, shooting at something off-screen before they themselves disappear off-screen and leave the damaged square empty apart for the Reporter and her crew.

"The currently named 'Rebels' seem to be fighting in the name of the Living Saint that recently revealed itself in Lungmen. Rebels forces declare that the Laterano Government not only withholds vital information about this Saint but actively denies his existence.

The Pontifica Cohors Lateran is being suppressed heavily by these Rebels. They are being prevented from linking up with the Gun-Knights, but many have joined the Rebels in their fight against the government. Rebel forces have not currently attacked civilians.

Fighting across the city has forced many none combatants to flee their homes in panic.

The Pope of Laterano is pleading with the Rebels to stop this unnecessary bloodshed and lay down their arms for the betterment of all Sankta involved.

The Rebels have refused to answer the pleading of the Pope."

Behind the Reporter, one Apostolic Gun-Knight runs back into view and past them, back the way he came, uniform and armour bloody as he haphazardly drags his large weapon behind him, holding his wounded arm as blood pours between his fingers.

Before the Gun-Knight could disappear off-screen, a large, powerful *crack* could be heard, instantly hitting the back of the retreating Gun-Knight. Dust from the armour and blood sprayed from his back as he fell forward onto his face with a thump.

The Reporter had stopped talking and looked at the downed Gun-Knight in shock, as did the camera crew. However, before the Reporter could recover and continue speaking, multiple footsteps could be heard from the street the Gun-Knight had retreated from.

From that street, many armed Sankta civilians entered the large square and kept walking forward with a purpose. Many of the roughed-up Sankta looked in their direction but carried on walking, some even walking over the dead Gun-Knight without remorse.

One Sankta caught the Reporter's attention and the camera crew as many people surrounded the heavily armed man but still gave him a wider berth as if he was leading the group.

(A.N. Has a tilted Halo on his head and Sankta wings)

The Sankta that has gained the Reporter's attention with his messy blonde hair and green jacket, bandages and plasters all over him was the one that killed the Gun-Knight.

The large weapon he was carrying was a Boys AT rifle. A scarce sight in Laterano, most Sankta would care little to use this as a patron-firearm. Instead, they preferred something with a higher rate of fire.

Anyone who knew of that weapon knew that the poor Gun-Knight stood no chance against it, which was only proven right.

But to openly kill a Gun-Knight on a live news feed was ballsy. Thankfully, the Rebels didn't seem bothered by the presence of the news crew as they continued past them and the square to another part of the waring city.

The reporter had to ask him!

"Excuse me, Sir!" The reporter walked over to the passing Sankta with the Boy's rifle. The camera followed the Reporter reluctantly. The Rebel Sankta around them glared at the Reporter in annoyance.

"Can I help you?" The Sankta with the Boys said.

"Can you tell us why you are fighting?

"Heh... To send a message to the cowards in power that we won't sit down and shut up because they say so..."

"Why would they want us to 'shut up."

"A Living Saint has appeared, and the first thing the Curia and Pope have done is immediately announce that it's all filthy lies... It wasn't a lie... Why would the Curia and Pope call it lies?! I will tell you; It's because they fear for their power. The Living Saint has come, and ALL Sankta know what that means!" He stared directly into the camera,

"Most of our viewers are not Sankta. Could you explain what it means to them?" The reporter urged.

"Gladly! The Appearance of a Living Saint can only have two meanings, One: The Sarkaz are about to unite under a Lord of Fiends and attempt to dominate Terra, which the Saint will prevent or Two: The Living Saint will come and lead the Sankta as they truly should have been from the start, not by fools clinging to their power desperately." So he said reverently as all the Sankta around him stopped to listen and cheer.

"Which do you believe is the most likely?"

"Both, Maybe it won't be the Sarkaz, but mark my words! The Lord of Fiends is coming! And the Living Saint is going to save us all!"

"Well...Thank you for speaking with me."

Back In Rhodes Island, everyone stared at their screens in shock. Questions bounced around their heads. So that's why the Sankta were rebelling? Is their government calling the Living Saint a lie?

The Lord of Fiends is returning and will dominate Terra. What?!

At Rhodes, the Various Sarkaz looked around and sweatdropped at the suspicious looks they were receiving.

Warfarin once again sat next to Kal'tsit as they watched the news. Warfarin snorted in amusement. "Ha...Really? Do people believe that nonsense? It's like they think we Sarkaz are like a horde mechanic from a video game."

Kal'tsit watched the screen with wide eyes. She looked like she had just sucked a lemon.

Would Theresa do that? Would Amiya? Theresis would undoubtedly try if he could and will likely try anyway.

~

In the heart of Victoria's capital, a pink-haired male Sarkaz sat in a dark room with a glass of whiskey, watching the news report from Laternao.

At first, he thought it was Amusing to watch the Sankta kill each other.

But as soon as the Living Saint was mentioned, the Whiskey glass was crushed in his grip as he growled in hatred.

And then to yell in fury as some moronic Sankta tells the world what the Lord of Fiends would do if they united the Sarkaz.

This world belongs to a united Sarkaz!

He would bring Terra to heel.

A utopia for Sarkaz but an Age of strife for all other races.

Theresis smirked in the dark.

"Are we there yet?" Lappland called out for the 50th time.

"No!" In return, the Orca pilot shouted for the 50th time as they descended into Lungmen.

"How about now?" Lappland smirked at the irked Pilot.

"Yes..." The Pilot cried in relief as he landed the Orca

Lappland didn't even respond as she ran to the back of the Orca, pushing past other people and quickly fleeing the Orca as fast as she could. However, she was immediately unimpressed upon spotting the Headquarters of the Enclave.

This was the hideout of these Farsight followers? A rundown building in the worst part of Lungmen.

The Siracusa 12 made it sound like the Lungmen Enclave forces, and Farsight was a huge problem.

She would need to meet this Farsight to find Texas and get more free food.

Then there was the matter of the order she had from the Siracusa Mafia to take Farsight's life.

Meet Farsight first, and see if he is worth killing.

Lappland walked briskly into the sizeable rundown building and smirked at anyone that got too close to her, making them uncomfortable.

She was going to enjoy this place.

Unknown to the wild white Lupo, a pair of glowing eyes of a certain Farseer was already watching her on the security cameras from the command centre.

Done!

Another fun chapter to write!

Sorry no Art or Gifs this time. I had very little time.

Lappland is now in the same area as Farsight. There is fun to be had!

I will make a separate lemon book for this. I have never done a Lemon, so don't expect a masterpiece. It will probably be cringy as heck.

I am aware Theresis is not Lord of Fiends.

I own no Pics or Gifs.

Thanks for the support and Votes.
