For the Greater Good

Hey, Here we go again.

I have the weekend off, so I'll have this chapter out Saturday and another on Sunday. I hope

Thanks for the support. I meant it.

Agenta wanted to feel bad, but she honestly didn't. The moment they walked through the entrance of their base, The Nanites that had been in their transports air system worked beautifully.

The moment Agenta pushed a button on her watch at the threshold of the base's entrance, Mr Y/n fell unconscious, being caught by two of their guards and carrying the sleeping man off to a more secure area.

He was unique. Agenta knew that. They were all shown that in the briefings before they went for retrieval, but he needed to improve. They required him to change the world but to do that. They must change him first.

"Madam Agenta?" A short Sarkaz man in a doctor's lab coat approached her with a clipboard.

"He is ready to begin, I presume?" Agenta replied, knowing what the Sarkaz scientist was going to say.

"100%, my lady!, Surgery can begin on your word," He said with an excited grin.

"Then begin. No failures, Understand?" She threatened.

He continues to grin at her before giving a salute and rushing off.

Agenta was aware of the figure behind her, rolling her eyes in annoyance. She turned to greet her nuisance of a friend and colleague. The exact figure that was screaming at the entrance of the base.

"Hey, Agenta!" Her friend gives her an insufferable smile.

(A.N, She's a Sankta, so picture a halo on top of her head of your choice, also its position and broken wings)

Mallory, more affectionately referred to as Mal-Mal, Is not big on formality. she is a Highly relaxed Sankta with a happy disposition and upbeat personality. Mal-Mal is the brainchild of most of this massive operation, possibly one of the most intelligent people on Terra.

"Enough, Mallory", Agenta barks at her. "Did you have to embarrass us in front of him?, We are trying to show we aren't a bunch of hypocritical crazies like that joke called Rhodes Island!"

"Hehe, I didn't mean to embarrass you in front of your new boy toy." That insufferable smile again.

Agenta grits her teeth and clenches her fists in anger.

"Plus, don't call me Mallory!, Call me Mal-Mal!" The now-named Mal-Mal says, offended at being talked to so formally by her friend.

Agenta doesn't respond, turns away, and starts walking down a long corridor.

Mal-Mal walks quickly to catch up with her cold friend and starts talking.

"I don't think me shouting back there was the problem. The problem is us convincing Y/n we aren't his enemy. What's to stop him from getting angry at tricking him so readily? He gave you his trust, and you knock him out cold and operate on him without consent in return."

Agenta sighed in frustration. Mal-Mal was right, as always.

The duo passed many corridors and people from all walks of Terra, giving them a wide berth. Finally, the two leaders of this unknown group walked further into the base and a large observation room overlooking an operating theatre currently in use.

There were enough seats in this observation room circle to fit at least 100 people. Most of those seats were taken by medical interns and scientists. All eyes were on the surgeons and robotic arms working on the sedated Y/n. Many were taking notes or making their observations on what was happening.

Agenta and Mal-Mal found their seats due to their positions and watched quietly. Many of the medical interns around would ask questions to Mal-Mal about the surgery and its process, making Mal-Mal delighted.

Twenty minutes passed before Agenta turned her head to her colleague and spoke. She was also taking notes.

"Is your little pet project ready for a pilot?"

Mal-Mal stops scribbling notes and smirks, not turning to look at her. "The battlesuit is ready, but Y/n isn't." Mal-Mal Gestures to Y/n.

"Assuming he can trust us again after this," Agenta retorts.

"You should have just asked him as I suggested, but nope, you wanted to use my nanites instead. Overkill there, Agenta."  The Intelligent Sankta teases.

The people around them start muttering to each other quietly and pointing, catching both of their attention.

"Was an Internal Nanite Skeleton necessary?" Agenta grimaces at the scene of exposed bone and flesh below her.

Mal-Mal is writing stuff on her notepad with a broad smile, Another of her crazy inventions being put to use.

"You wanted him to change the world? Now he can do it without worrying about bones shattering like splinters. Instead, his body could take a blow from one of the Abyssal Hunters and continue with little discomfort. Mal-Mal replies breathlessly.

"If he turns against us in anger, We may lose against him at this rate," Agenta replies with concern.

Mal-Mal stops writing and gives her a rare cold look. "If he turns against us after helping him so much, then he will discover firsthand what a plasma cannon is"

Agenta shakes her head in discomfort. Mal-Mal was probably the most influential and powerful person she knew, A walking catastrophe, as many would say. Yet, nothing more was said between them.

Hours passed when the result of the surgery was finally announced.

"The surgery is complete, Mal-Mal!" Came the voice of the Sarkaz male from earlier with an exhausted grin still planted on his face.

Y/n's unconscious form was to be moved out of the theatre.

Agenta and Mal-Mal rushed out of the observation room down a few corridors passing by a few medical staff and into a sizeable advanced hospital ward where Y/n was to be monitored. Many of their guards and security were present if Y/n woke and decided to become aggressive.

Mal-Mal was already at his side doing her tests and checks on him as Agenta stood off to the side and watched. A younger Liberi female intern quietly spoke to Mal-Mal for a few minutes.

Mal-Mal approached Agenta after her conversation with the intern, gave her a satisfied smile, and announced. "It was a complete success! No abnormalities!"

"What exactly have you done to him, Mal?" Agenta was getting tired. It's been a long day.

"Created a masterpiece, of course. Y/n will be physically stronger and more durable. Y/n's ability to react or solve high adrenaline problems has increased subnationally... well, we will have to test it, but I'm sure!"  Mal-Mal chirped in excitement.

Agenta takes a look at Y/n's sleeping form and sighs.

"I hope you're right, and he forgives us, after all, in his own words. 'For The Greater good.'"

In the Control Tower in Chernobog.

"Care to repeat that??" A cold imperious voice mutters in a large, damaged room.

"L-lady Talulah, We have received a report that the Doctor of Rhodes Island has resigned from his position."

"WHAT!? Hahaha... Guess old Kal'tsit doesn't know what a leash is, Ehahaha."

"W!, Enough!"

"Awwww, No fun, Talulah." W Chuckles with a pout.

"Do we know where he may have gone? Then, we could use this to our advantage."

"No, My lady", The faceless grunt replies.

"Why is he so Important?" Came a cold, curious voice of a white-haired Cautus.

"Because little one, Doctor Y/n played a significant role in the time before their current company, In the time of King Theresa of the Sarkaz.

W flinched at the name of Theresa.

"Patriot is correct. His mind is far more advantageous to us." Talulah replied.

"Listen to daddy, Yeti princess, Hehehe!" W teased a glaring Frostnova.

"W! Enough," Talulah, getting impatient with the unstable Sarkaz. "Rhodes Island is no threat without the Doctor. I'm sure we will soon meet them again, and without the Doctor, Lungmen won't last long either."

Everyone around Talulah listened to every word and nodded.

"Frostnova, W, The moment Doctor Y/n's whereabouts are found, you are to capture him and bring him to me, Alive!, Is that clear, W?"

"Yes, Talulah/Heh fine!" Frostnova/W replied together.

"Good", Talulah replied, Both knowing this was the end of conversations and leaving quickly.

Once they had left, Talulah's face got darker, and she muttered.

"You can hide, Y/n, but I will find you eventually."

Done!

I also enjoyed this chapter.

Hoped you like it.

I said there would be a small harem, so I'm thinking

Kal'tsit
Texas
Lappland
Agenta
Mal-Mal

Maybe Frostnova and W.

Is that a small harem? I don't know. I don't have one.
