Evelyn had been sat in Hotch's office for hours while the others went to find her dad. She had completed all of her homework, watched loads of greys anatomy. And read about six books. She had watched even more series and movie's while sat there. She had done everything and anything she could think of to pass the time quicker but nothing seemed to help. She was extremely worried. But when JJ came rushing in she felt even more concerned, in case it was bad news. But she said "Evvy we think we may know where your dad is." she froze. "Where?" "It doesn't matter me and you will wait here and the other are gonna get your dad." Evelyn nodded. She didn't want to be abandoned again, she hated that feeling. 

She hated when her dad would drop her off at school in case he never returned. She always had a pit in her stomach full of worry and doubt she never understood why. She never told anyone too, not her dad. She thought if she was broken nobody would want her or love her. She was always terrified. 

The thought of her father leaving her or being dead cause Evelyn to panic. Her leg was shaking, so were her hands, she couldn't think straight. She couldn't breath or speak. She took some deep breaths. 

Around thirty minutes later, JJ got a call. They were talking for ages but by the time they had both hung up Evvy couldn't tell if she had a look of concern or worry. she waited for JJ to say something. She took some deep breaths leaving Evelyn in suspense. JJ started "They found him!" Evvy said "What?" He was sat in an alleyway well passed out for part of it. He is okay he has been to the hospital, and is now almost here." "Okay. Is he okay?" "Yes he will be." "What happened?" "No of us are sure. Not even your dad." she nodded and waited impatiently looking out of the office window. She saw them come in and she opened the door and few out of it. She ran down the steps almost falling flat on her face. Across the bullpen, and straight into her dads arms "Daddy I have missed you." "I have missed you to darling." She stepped back because of the tone of his voice and he facial expressions. She turned and left. Everyone else was hugging and talking and checking on Spencer. 

She was sat in Hotch's office. Crying silently to herself, nobody realised Evelyn was gone, nobody. She was that type of girl to disappear of the face of the earth and nobody would probably realise. After a while Gideon did realise, he went to Hotch's office. He saw Evelyn just sat there staring into space. He sat next to her and hugged her. "He doesn't want me anyone does he?" "What are you talking about?" "I know that look that tone, that is the one people use when they leave or don't want you or anything to do with you." "Evelyn your not even nine and your daddy loves you dearly." "Are you sure?" "Of course I am, I know your dad for ages." she nodded and grabbed her bag. "Spencer I'm taking you both home." he nodded, they said there goodbyes and left. There was awkward silence in the car. 

Once they got to the apartment, Evvy rushed in and into her room she didn't want to be with her dad. She went straight to bed as for Spencer he was sat on the couch in the family room and Gideon gave him a cup of tea. Gideon sat now next to him with a cup in his hand. "Spencer what happened?" "I don't know." "You know everything and remember everything." "I don't know." "Spencer were you trying to abandon Evelyn?" "No I would never." "Where you trying to die?" "No I wasn't" "Then what was that and why?" "I don't know." "Spencer did you know your daughter is terrified of you leaving her. she was almost crying when you came back and she's not even nine." "I kinda thought she would I knew she wouldn't want to see me though." "She thought you left and abandoned her." "I didn't mean to." "I know you didn't but what did you do and why?" "I wanted to go home but the subway was crowed so I was gonna get the next one. And then I went outside then got pushed into a bar. there were drunk people, I got out but I hit my head and got pushed into the alleyway. Then I slammed it on the ground the next thing I know I was waking up with you and the teams hovering over me." "Spencer I know there was drugs in your system what happened?" "I don't remember." "Spencer just tell me." "I don't know." "Spencer." "I actually don't know." "Okay." Gideon hugged Spencer. 

Spencer went to bed a while later, the next morning he woke up and went into the kitchen he saw Gideon sat on the sofa and said "Where's Evvy?" "I dropped her off at school. Go get dressed." "Why?" "I need to show you something." He nodded. He returned to his room and get dressed into a shirt dress pants and a sweater vest. He came out and the room was full. There was Emily, JJ, Derek, Rossi and Hotch. Spencer said "What's going on here?" Morgan replied "Well we have the day off and this is an intervention." Spencer looked puzzled "A what?" Emily said "A intervention. We are gonna try and help you." Rossi said "Take a seat." So Spencer did. "What happened?" Said Hotch. He explained. They argued and research they did everything possible. They needed to help Reid and Evelyn. 

What's going to happen? Did he abandon her? Did he leave on purpose? Does his story add up? The poor eight year old!
