*ya'll get an early update this week because i'm gonna be so busy for the next couple days and i didn't wanna forget.*

spencer reid
"absolutely none of these look familiar." casey says and she scans over the list of addresses.

"yeah. i mean we used to be babysat by a lady in this house, but she came to us. we never went to her. so it wouldn't make sense for him to take her there." adrian says, pointing at the address.

"what if he didn't actually take her anywhere? what if he ditched the new car, got another one somehow, and then they've just been driving off somewhere. my sister used to dream of going to work at a children's hospital in texas. what if he tried taking her there?" justin suggests, leaning back into the chair.

"no. then we could've caught the license plate somewhere. we put an apb out on the car and both jupiter and colin. if they were seen anywhere, we'd know." emily sighs, sitting down next to julien.

"do you think he took her to the greek?" julien asks, looking through the laptop.

casey sits up, cocking her head.

"maybe. jupiter, adrian, and i used to sneak in there to throw parties or just camp out in over the summer. she said going to the greek was the best part of her childhood. but we never talked about it around him. ever."

"you also never talked about her parents or where they lived, but he knew where she was." adrian says, making casey sigh.

"he could've taken it out of my planner. she had asked me to stop by her parents to drop something off and i couldn't remember where it was, so she wrote down the address for me." she groans, banging her head onto the table.

"where else would he think to take her? think of any place that would make jupiter happy. a fantasy land." hotch says, putting his hands into his pockets.

"keep in mind, he would've listened to everything jupiter said and took it as a sign or a hint. he took everything literally and took everything to the heart. even if she said that she loved the beach, he would've taken that as the cue to build her a beach house." emily says, standing and grabbing a whiteboard marker.

"well, our grandparents had a lake house and she said she always wanted one when she was older."

emily scribbles down lake house only the board and i clear my throat.

"the suburb" i chuckle, crossing my arms over my chest.

"the suburb? jupiter?" justin asks, cocking an eyebrow.

i nod my head, looking down at the timer running on my watch.

"she wanted us to move the the suburb after we got married. she said our job was so abnormal and filled with unexpectedness. so she something in her life to be normal. she wanted the white picket fence and the pta meetings and the perfectly green lawn with nice neighbors. she wanted mundane and normal." i say, shrugging as the memory of us huddled in front of the computer looking at homes flooded my mind.

"if you could live at the planetarium, i'd say the planetarium." adrian smiles, making us all nod.

"what if he took her to a hotel? one of the famous ones that some jazz star stayed in?" morgan suggests, and emily shakes her head.

"at the end of the phone call, he said he was taking her home. you can't make a home out of a hotel room."

we all pause for a moment when rossi speaks up.

"you guys are thinking like current jupiter. keep in mind, colin hasn't spoken to her since college. think how college jupiter would think."

i nod my head, agreeing and turning to her brothers, casey, and adrian.

"you guys can do that the best. i didn't know her when she was in college." i say, and they nod their heads.

"so we've got the greek, right? yeah. we went to the greek a lot in college. she likes the acoustics and she likes that she could see the stars out the ceiling." casey says.

"again, the lake house." justin sighs, rubbing his fingers over the bridge of his nose.

"the train yard. it's where you guys did the yearly bonfire, right?" julien asks, making casey sit up.

"yeah. i totally forgot about the train yard."

"she wrote me a letter one month and she said that they were building new houses in lexington that reminded her of meet the robinsons and she said they were her dream houses but they were too close together. not enough privacy for her." adrian says, pulling his phone out of his pocket to silence the ringing.

"oh yeah. jupiter went through a phase where she wanted to live away from everyone. secluded from everything. like on a ranch or something." julien says.

"my house! jupiter said the house i grew up in was her dream house. from the space to the house itself, she loved it! and colin was there for that conversation." casey exclaims.

"yeah but your parents sold the property in high school." adrian points out, making us all sigh.

"well...maybe not. they-"

she's quickly cut off by the phone ringing. hotch reaches over, pressing the answer button.

"hello my favorite profilers and jupiter's siblings. i've got some info for you."

"make me happy, babygirl."

"so it looks like colin was making cash withdrawals every month for the last four months. each withdrawal was 3 thousand and each was taken out the 9th of every month. and that sounds like-"

"rent. did you say the ninth?" casey asks, leaning in towards the phone.

"yes i did stranger who's voice i don't recognize."

"i'm casey."

"well hello casey. anyways, yes. the ninth."

"something familiar to you, casey?" hotch asks and she leans back into her chair.

"i was checking the mail for my parents a couple weeks ago and there was a blank envelope with cash left in the mailbox. and when i asked my parents what it was for, they laughed and said it was the rent i owed them. and i just brushed it off because quite frankly i didn't care. but what if they never sold the property? what if they were renting it? you guys know how paranoid my dad is. he doesn't trust realtors or the internet." she says, looking between adrian, justin, and julien.

"i mean, it makes sense. we used to hang out at your house all the time. it was all our favorite places. between james bond recreations and hiding in the panic room for hours to freak out our parents, we spent a lot of time there." adrian says, sitting up in his chair.

"i'll call your dad and have him come down to the precinct. for now, keep going. i've got a good feeling about today." justin nods before walking off.

"garcia, can you do me a favor and send both colin's and jupiter's photo to lexington pd. label it low priority, and tell them that's it's just a precaution. tell them to especially keep an eye out in their newest housing area." hotch says as i pace back and forth.

"no, he wouldn't take her to south carolina. she says the weathers too different which makes no sense because lexington is only an hour and a half away so weather patterns couldn't possibly-"

"they're different." casey, adrian, and julien say simultaneously making me nod my head.

"well i stand corrected."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
eventually, the night begins to creep in and casey's father takes a seat in the briefing room and i sit across from him. adrian had left to go home and julien has just returned from dropping him off.
"cpo leland, i'm doctor spencer reid. thank you for coming in sir. can i get you anything? water? coffee?"
"coffee is great. you're the one marrying jupiter?"
i look behind me and jj gestures her hand up, letting me know that she'd get the cup of coffee.
"that's right, sir." i nod my head, a tight smile on my lips.
"hm. fbi. phd. respectable enough."
"thank you, sir." i hesitate for a moment, not sure if he had just insulted or complimented me.
"so why am i here?" he asks as jj hands him the cup of coffee.
"sir we'd like to know if you've begun renting out your previous home to colin hugh?"
he stares at me with his eyebrows furrowed.
"i don't know a colin. sorry, agent." he says, taking a sip of the coffee.
casey sighs, turning to her dad.
"okay let's start here, you're renting out the old house, right? just didn't put it through a realtor because you don't trust them?"
"that's right." he nods.
"have you met the man you're renting it to?" hotch asks, grabbing the photo of colin from the desk behind us.
"once or twice. what does this have to do with anything? i didn't do anything illegal."
"no no. of course not. but, i'm not sure if you've seen the news lately, but jupiter's...been taken." i says, and his eyes go wide
"taken!? by who?" he exclaims.
"by this man. colin hugh. and we have reason to believe that he may have been renting your home so he could keep jupiter there." hotch says, sliding over the photo of colin.
he stares at the photo in disbelief before leaning back into the chair.
"he told me his name was jackson. jackson umm...scott! jackson scott."
"dad that's a fake name." casey deadpans, making justin snort and he turns around quickly in attempt to shield his laughter.
"well i didn't know! he pays cash every month and that's all i care about." he shrugs.
"that's all we needed, sir. thank you for your time." i nod.
he leaves us the address on a post-it note and we shake hands and casey and adrian lead him out, telling us to call them when something changes.
"well we know where she is. let's go get her." julien says.
"we need to be careful. we can't go in there guns ablaze with no plan." hotch quickly says
"i don't see a problem with that. kill the son of a bitch." justin shrugs.
"what? no. if we-"
hotch is quickly cut off by my phone ringing loudly. and unfamiliar number calling. i furrow my eyebrows, accepting the call.
"dr. spencer reid"
"hi! yes, i'm calling to order two large pizzas. one cheese, the other a combination."
i purse my lips slightly and scrunch my nose up.
"sorry? i think you have the wrong-"
"the name for the order is going to be jupiter."
my heart stops and i feel the color leave my face. everyone steps forward, looking over at me with expectant eyes. morgan takes the phone from my hands and pressed the speaker phone.
"...j-jupiter? is that you?" i manage to spit out.
everyone gasps and hotch pushes his way through, coming up to the phone.
"yes. that's right."
a smile finds its way to my lips and tears fill my eyes.
"jupiter, oh my god. okay where are you, baby?"
"32.50? that's fine. and please send a quiet driver, last time i heard that kids music from all the way down the street. nearly woke up everyone within a 20 mile radius."
"no sirens. got it. address, jup."
i look over at hotch, who nods and justin and julien run out of room, alerting swat and the officers in the station.
"oh! sorry. the address is going to be 7381 n. hockstetter drive."
i nod, grabbing the phone from morgan and running out to the cars. morgan, hotch, and i get into one car as prentiss, jj, and rossi get into the other.
"okay. just hang on we'll be there in 20 minutes. i love you so much."
"thank you so much! we'll be seeing you soon. good night to you too."
i hang up the phone and everyone speeds off. i put the address into the car gps and we swerve through the streets. driving out to the more rural portion of charlotte and approaching casey's childhood home. hotch pulls into the driveway and we all run out the cars, approaching the front door . i take a deep breath before knocking loudly and we wait a few moments, our guns in our hands. i hear the door unlock and as if in slow motion, there stood my fiancée. her eyes were slightly sunken in, and i could see the faint bruising on her forearm indicating healing needle marks, tears fill her eyes as her lower lip begins to quiver. finally morgan opens his mouth.
"pizza delivery."
