I feel like shit.

Y/n got accepted into a college in New York and said we could do long distance. I refused and broke up with her. And I regret it.

I groan and walk away. I walk in the classroom and sit beside Cassie. I sigh and see Cassie listening to music.

"I just listen to some calming music and it knocks me right out." Suze says.

I take the left earbud out of Cassie's ear and put it in mine.

I gotta change the station
So I turn the dial, tryin' to catch a break

"Why is it on shuffle?!" I shout crying.

I pull the earbud out and storm out.

I'm tryna keep it together, but I'm falling apart

"The Maddy I know wouldn't turn down a party." Cassie says.

I'm feelin' all out of my element

"I only go to parties with Y/n." I say.

"Can I tell you something?" Y/n asks.

"1..." Everyone says as I stare at Y/n.

I cup Y/n's cheeks and kiss her.

"Happy New Year!" Everyone shouts.

I start to cry and Cassie sighs.

"I'm so stupid. Why would I do this?" I say.

Tryin' to figure out where the hell I went wrong

"I wasn't Y/n would still be here." I say.

"I went to go see her in New York and see didn't care." I say.

"Mail!" Ashlyn says.

An envelope slides under the door and I grab it.

"So I was saying—" Isabelle says as I read the envelope.

"Shh." I say opening the envelope.

"Dear Y/n, I miss you so much." I read in my head.

"So you led me on?" She asks as I grab my suitcase from under the bed.

"The only person who led you on was your big-ass ego." I say putting clothes in my suitcase.

She rolls her eyes and leaves.
