I walk up to the payphone and dig in my pocket.

I'm at a payphone, trying to call home

"Fuck." I mumble.

"Do you have a quarter I can use?" I ask.

"Uh, yeah." The woman says digging in her pocket.

She hands me a quarter and I smile.

"Thank you so much." I say.

She smiles and walks away.

I put a quarter in the slot and pick the phone up. I dial a number and wait.

All of my change, I spent on you

"Hello." Someone says.

"Can you come get me?" I ask.

30 minutes later...

A car pulls up and the window rolls down.

"Where the fuck have you been?!" Maddy asks.

I get in the passenger seat and Maddy starts to drive.

"I'm waiting." Maddy says.

"Jail." I say.

"Why the fuck were you in jail? Do they know where the bodies are?" Maddy asks.

"McKay saw me and he was ruling me up. Saying he was still seeing Cassie and I lost my temper." I say.

"Just say you beat his ass and go about your day." Maddy says.

"I called Cassie in jail and she yelled at me so I'm assuming it's true." I say.

A while ago I tweeted some lyrics I wrote and the tweet went viral. Everyone wanted the song released. After thinking about and Maddy threatening to break my arm if I didn't release it, I did.
