"I'm trying to get in this party but the guy doesn't believe that we're dating. Can you come up here?" Cassie says.

"Cassie, I have Covid." I say.

"So you're much happier after the breakup?" Micheal asks.

"The happiest." I say.

"You weren't right that time you insisted it wasn't early release day when it was a homeless man had to walk me home from the busy stop." I say.

3 hours later...

I go in the bathroom and see Cassie looking in the mirror.

I roll my eyes and she looks at me.

"I knew you couldn't get over me." Cassie says.

"I've been over you. You're the one still stuck on me." I say.

But when you told me that you hated my friends
The only problem was with you and not them

"I think my friends are pretty cool." I say.

"If anything I should thank you for breaking up with me." I say.

Cassie rolls her eyes and leaves.

"We're having Hutspot for dinner but you can order a pizza." Mom says.

"It's fine." I say.

"What?!" Everyone asks.

"I said I'll eat it." I say.

When I started dating Cassie I was still new to the US so she insisted that I eat American food instead. And she subtly refused to eat any Dutch food.

And tried to make me forget where I came from

"Did I miss something?" Dad asks.

"Cassie broke up with her." Tommy says.

"Oh, you okay kid?" Dad asks.
