"How many time are you gonna stand me up?" I ask.

"I make plans revolving about your "schedule" and you still don't show up." I say.

Then 7 PM turned to 10
I'm still alone and my lips are red
But not in a good way

"My mom—" Cassie says.

"I've been looking for you all day." I say.

"I've been avoiding you all day." Maddy says.

"Who's McKay?" I ask.

"I have no clue." Maddy says.

"She's your best fucking friend and you don't know who this guy is?" I ask.

"Maybe I do. Maybe I don't." Maddy says.

"Think of you being in this situation. You think Nate is cheating on you and the only person who knows she is is me." I say.

"Fuck, fine." Maddy says.

"Christother McKay. He's 18 or19 and he's a quarterback for some college. I don't know that guy is annoying, I can't help but tune him out." Maddy says.

"He's your guy." Maddy says.

"So she is cheating on me?" I ask.

"She's never told me that but I've seen them come out of the bathroom together before." Maddy says.

"I'm sorry, Y/n/n." Maddy says.

"Hey, baby." Cassie says walking up to us.

"What's wrong?" Cassie asks as tears fill my eyes.

"Don't fucking touch me." I say as Cassie tries to hug me.

"Fuck you." I say walking away.

"What the fuck did you tell her?!" Cassie asks.

Cassie's been calling and texting mw but I haven't answered. It was strangely different when I knew she was doing something behind my back but I didn't know what it was.

My room door opens and look up.

"Get out." I say.

"You should really lock your front door. Someone's gonna kill you." Cassie says.

"No one can hurt me like you did." I say.

I think the only reason Cassie is still with me is because I give her money. I'm assuming this McKay guy is a broke college student who can't afford Cassie.

Cassie said she was gonna hang out with "her girls." I didn't believe her but I texted Maddy and she confirmed it.

Tommy's room door opens and Maddy walks out.

"Nate and I broke up again so I'm hooking up with your brother." Maddy says.

"Cassie said you guys were gonna hang out." I say.

"I know nothing about that." Maddy asks.

"You texted me." I say.

"Cassie knows my phone password, maybe she texted you." Maddy says.

I sigh and go back in my room.

When Cassie went to the bathroom the other day, I turned her location on.

"You know this address?" I ask showing my phone to Maddy.

"I think I went to a party there last week." Maddy says.

"I don't think you should go over there." Maddy says as I grab my keys.

"Why not?" I ask.

"For starters, it's gonna hurt if you if you see it for yourself. Second, don't waste your time on Cassie. She's just using you for money but you don't wanna believe it." Maddy says.

"I can't remember the last time you guys genuinely looked in love or if you ever looked in love." Maddy says.

"You should be tired of the arguments. You're better off without her." Maddy says.
