I met Y/n in the first grade when she came to the US from Mexico. She didn't speak a lot of English but we made it work and became friends. I always had a little crush on her but we didn't start dating until 3 years ago.

Lexi moves my hand and looks at my cheek.

"Looks like a scar. How'd you get it?" Lexi says.

I never liked my crooked teeth

"I like it, it's kinda cool." Lexi says.
