I call Maddy and she answers on the second ring.

I call you up when I know he's at home

"Hey, Lex." Y/n says answering the phone.

I jump out of my skin when he picks up the phone

"Hey, Y/n." I say nervously.

"Is Maddy around?" I ask.

"Uh, yeah." Y/n says.

"Here." Y/n says.

"Hey. Nate said he was going to that New Years party and I wanted to let you know." I say.

"Thanks but I am not gonna let him fuck up my night. You still going?" Maddy says.

"Why is Y/n staring at you?" Rue asks.

"Maybe she's not interested." I say.
