Memory Loss

Going to be a pretty short one...

Bai Qian wasn't having a great day.

From the moment she woke up, she knew it was going to be a bad day.

She was exhausted and worn out, and why, might you ask?

Because she had been busy with Qing Qiu, as there had been unrest lately. And Ye Hua hadn't been there, he was away settling some political affairs.

She stumbled out of the Fox Den and looked around blearily. Peaceful was the scenery, but her mind was the opposite.

She felt her head spinning. Strange, that hadn't happened before. No matter how exhausted she was, she was always able to hold it in until the end of the day. At least, she had never experienced her head spinning. And she had had sufficient hours of sleep, why was she still so tired?

Vaguely she remembered an odd occurrence: Mi Gu looking blank, his eyes unfocused, serving her tea. It was strange, Mi Gu was always a bundle of energy, wasn't he?

She tried to walk a few more steps, then felt that she couldn't take it anymore.

She was about to turn and walk back, but she blacked out and Feng Jiu's worried footsteps running towards her was the last thing she heard.

Fast Forward

Ye Hua sat by her bed. She had been out for five days now, and still no lead on what was wrong. But he had an idea, that the tea Mi Gu had given her was drugged. Obviously, Mi Gu couldn't have been the culprit. He was a reliable person, he had served them for so long , and the family trusted him. He was innocent.

Ye Hua had no idea what the drug in her tea was, and hence didn't know what would it cause. Exhaustion? Loss of control?

And just then, she stirred.

"Qian Qian!" He became alert. But what she did was most alarming.

She looked at him blankly.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?"
