Bai Feng Jiu's POV

Dijun, Auntie, Fourth Uncle, Zhe Yan, Father, Cheng Yu, Lian Song, Mo Yuan, and me were in a forest that me and my parents went to when I was young. I started to walk around to see where the Phoenix flower glows. I was walking and felt my forehead sting.

CY: Feng Jiu your birthmark is glowing!

FJ: Really

Go where the Phoenix flower glows. It must be around here somewhere. I started to look around a bit more.

BZ: Xiao Jiu why are we even out here?

FJ: I had another flashback while I was sleeping.

ZY: Really?

FJ: Yes

BQ: What was it about?

BY: So you think it is where I took you as a kid?

DJ: By that she was referring to your birthmark?

After a little while I found out something strange about this forest. I saw a butterfly fly into a part of the forest but it disappeared. In my flashback the man said she put a barrier around her home. Could that be the barrier he was talking about? I walked to where the butterfly disappeared.

LS: What are you staring at?

FJ: There is something off about this part of the forest.

ZY: How so?

FJ: I saw a butterfly fly through this part of the forest but it just disappeared.

I reached my hand out and my hand disappeared. I pulled my hand out and looked at everyone. I was right. But in my flashback she said that no one but that man will be able to go in and out as they please.

FJ: Lian Song can you reach your hand out and try to go through the barrier?

LS: Sure

He reached his hand out and tried to get it through but the barrier stopped him.

CY: How become it lets you in but not him.

MY: It could be that it only lets her in because she is the one who created it.

FJ: In that case, I should go in there and you can wait out here if you want to.

BQ: What if there is something dangerous in there!?

FJ: There's not.

BY: Xiao Jiu how can you be certain.

FJ: Father there is someone protecting this place. In my flashback she said that only he can come in and out as he please.

DJ: He? Who is this man?

LS: Donghua your jealousy is showing.

After he said that I saw Dijun give him a cold stare.

FJ: I'll go in and see if the man is here. In my flashback she told him to tell me about how to unlock my powers.

BZ: Alright we will wait out here.

I nodded and went into the barrier. Once I got in I looked around. This place is beautiful!

I kept walking and then I saw the man from my flashbacks standing there. He walked over to me and bowed.

???: Your Highness after years of waiting you finally return.

FJ: Your the man from my flashbacks.

???: Yes I am a servant from Your Highness's past life. My name is Lan Yun.

FJ: In my flashback I heard that you could help me unlock my full power.

LY: Yes but it will take several days. I sense that there is other people outside. I don't think you want them to wait for that long. You can put down the barrier so that they can enter. Since you are back there is no reason for it to be up.

FJ: Alright

I turned to where the barrier was and concentrated on making it disappear. After a minute I saw that the barrier was fading away. I saw all of them come in after the barrier faded away.

CY: Wow Feng Jiu your old home is so beautiful!

BQ: Indeed it is more beautiful than Zhe Yan's forest of peach blossoms!

LY: Welcome High Immortals, I am Lan Yun. I can take you to Her Highness's palace and so that we can discuss the matter.

MY: Alright.

We walked to the palace and went in. We walked into what looked like a throne room.

LY: Your Highness please take a seat on your throne.

He pointed to this beautiful throne that was gold and had some Phoenix's carved into it. I followed his arm and went to sit on the throne. While I sat on the throne Lan Yun directed the others to their seat.

LY: Your Highness it feels good to have you back. But as you know once you unlock your full power he will return.

MY: Who is this man you both keep talking about?

LY: His name is Jingshen, he is the most terrible thing to happen to this world. Many years ago, before you were all born he started to absorb immortals power so that he could grow stronger. Her Highness had just heard about it and went to deal with him, but because of all the power he had took from the immortals he was powerful. It took Her Highness 2 weeks to come back, but when she came back she was very weak and had to rebirth.

FJ: It is better that we start right away. The sooner the better.

LY: Alright I will get you all a place to stay.

DJ: I will stay in the same room as your Queen.

LY: I didn't know you were married Your Highness. I do hope that you have many children in the future.

My face went red.

FJ: H-he's not my husband!

DJ: We will be married in the future.

FJ: Shameless!

He lead us to my room and asked something.

LY: Do you want to start today or tomorrow?

FJ: It's best if we start today.

LY: Alright I will come back later after you have settled in.

With that he walked off and left me and Dijun in the room. I hope that I can unlock my full power soon.
