Our Secret

"Hey freak!" Someone yelled behind him, the sound of the their footsteps getting louder. Eddie tried to ignore them, speeding up his pace down the hallway hoping to find Y/n. He was afraid that if opened his mouth, he'd say something to piss Jason off and he really didn't want any trouble now. All he wanted to do was find his beautiful, amazing girlfriend so they could go to her house before going out. "Where you off to huh?"

Eventually Jason caught up to him, wrapping his arm around his shoulder, pulling him in closer as they continued to walk. His other hand ruffled Eddie's hair. He wanted nothing more than to punch him right now. Nobody touched his hair, especially someone he hated. But then he remembered why he was in such a rush. He couldn't spare another second without Y/n in his arms even though he saw her at lunch.

"Going to see that pretty girlfriend of yours?" Jason said, smirking at him. He knew that the perfect way to get a reaction out of Eddie was mentioning her. "She is quite the piece, let her know that I'm free tonight if she gets sick of your dragons and dungeons roleplaying and wants a real man."

"No need, I already heard everything." Y/n cut in, walking beside them as she was following behind before. Jason's cheeks went red with embarrassment, he didn't actually want her to hear what he said. "Now if you'd get your hands off my boyfriend it would be appreciated."

He obliged, taking a step away from Eddie. All three of them were now standing in the middle of the empty hallway. Y/n sarcastically smiled at Jason, cupping Eddie's cheeks before pulling him into a long passionate kiss. Jason watched awkwardly not knowing what to do or say, it had caught him off guard. Finally after a minute he hurried off, leaving them alone. Y/n pulled away, satisfied that it worked.

"Jesus Christ that was hot." Eddie remarked, running his hands through his hair.

"Did he hurt you or anything?" She asked completely ignoring what he had said previously.

"No."

"Good, next time I'll kill him." Eddie laughed nervously, he knew she was exaggerating but she said it so seriously. He still couldn't get over the fact that she was so hot when angry. It made him want her even more, if that was possible. God he was in love with her.

After their run in with Jason, they reached his car and drove off to her house. Y/n got out first, heading to the door while Eddie got out. He walked to the other side, leaning against the van.

"So we still on for pizza?"

"Oh shoot!" Y/n yelled, immediately spinning around to face him, slapping her face. "I completely forgot, I have to study tonight, for an important exam tomorrow."

Eddie frowned, but he wasn't going to argue with her. He saw what happened earlier and he didn't want that happening to him. She copied his facial expressions, strolling over to him with her arms wide open. He grabbed her by the waist pulling her against him as she wrapped her arms around his neck staring into his eyes.

"I'm sorry." She apologised again, hitting him with the puppy eyes he could never be mad at. He lifted his one hand, placing it at the back of her neck before leaning in for a kiss. She rested her hand on his chest, using it as an advantage to push him away. If she didn't stop now she wouldn't want to say goodbye yet, therefore she wouldn't be able to study. "I really need to go."

"I love you."

"I love you too Eddie, see you tomorrow." She yelled back, entering her house and leaving him there. He sighed at how easily she got him missing her, wanting her touch. She was such a tease sometimes it drove him nuts.

——

It had been a couple hours since they parted ways and he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to see her and it was slowly eating him from the inside. Surely she would have done studying by now, even if she hadn't, he'd just sit there in silence while she finished, admiring her. Then they could cuddle, they didn't need to go out, he just wanted to see her again.

He got into his car and drove to her house, parking by the neighbours house before running over to the front where her window was. Usually he'd just knock on the door but her parents wouldn't allow him over if she was studying so he had to climb through her window. After struggling up he saw the room was empty so he slid the window open, climbing inside. He'd wait there, maybe she went to get a snack or something.

That's when he realised her car keys and bag was missing and on a piece of paper an address was written down. So much for studying huh? Obviously being a concerned and curious boyfriend as to why his girlfriend lied, he grabbed the paper, left her room and got into his van. He already knew the street since he had drove past it before but he really wanted to know who's house it was. Maybe Y/n was there.

When he arrived at the street a very familiar car came into view, parked at the end of the road. It was Y/n's which means he was hot on her tracks. Checking the number once last time, he looked up to the side where he saw the mail box and another familiar car. It was impossible to miss it. No, no, no this wasn't happening.

He obviously fell asleep, and was having a nightmare. There was no way Y/n was at his worst enemies house, Jason's house. Was she cheating on him? Was the whole her hating Jason a cover up for the fact they were secretly in love, spending time together behind his back. That this was all just a massive ruse to humiliate him. She had always been too good for him and he knew that. No, why was he thinking that. Of course it wasn't, she loved him, right? Even if she wasn't, he felt betrayed. What was she doing at his house in the first place? He really wanted to hear her amazing excuse.

Jumping out of his van, he ran up to the door, knocking loudly so somebody would definitely hear it. This was all a bad idea, but when did he ever have a good one. He wanted answers, that's all. After a minute, there was still no answer so he checked through the windows. No one. He ran to the side by the gate and pushed at it watching it swing open.

"Shit this is a bad idea." He took a step into the backyard, he was really doing this. Walking over to the back door he slid it open, entering the house. Well that was easy, too easy? Exploring the house for a minute, he tip toed up the stairs, heading down the hallway checking all the open rooms until he reached one with a close door.

He heard groaning from the other side which made his heart sink. He had no idea what to expect. Would he find his girlfriend half naked in bed with the guy he hated the most? There was only one way to find out.

Hesitantly he pushed the door open. That's when he saw Y/n towering over someone laying on the floor, a pool of blood surrounding them. It was Jason and he was terrified, trying his hardest to shuffle back away from her but it was no use. He had a stab wound not her.

"Should've stayed away from Eddie."

"Jesus Christ! What the fuck, is going on right now?!" Eddie yelled, throwing his hands up in the air. Her head jolted to the side while the life in Jason slowly faded away. "Fucking hell! Is he dead?"

"What the fuck are you doing here?!" Y/n interrupted, dodging all his questions.

"I could be asking you the same thing!" Eddie had never seen a real dead person before, and it was not a pretty sight. "What the hell were you thinking!"

"Shut up before you get us caught!" She demanded, running up to him and covering his mouth with her least bloody hand. When he had calmed down a bit she removed her hand and glanced back at Jason's dead body. It wasn't supposed to be this way. He was just supposed to stay away from Eddie so she wouldn't have to do this. But of course he wasn't going to and when he tried to touch her, the reflex's kicked in. The knife was there for good measures and a weapon if things went to shit. Which it did and now he was dead on the floor and Eddie was in the room. Why the hell was Eddie in the room!?

"Why are you here Eddie?"

"I thought you were cheating ok?" He answered, scared for his life. He had never seen this side of Y/n before. A psycho killer.

"What? With this son of a bitch." She pointed at Jason. "I told you I'd kill him if he kept annoying you."

"Yeah, but I didn't actually think you'd do it!" He began to panic again, he had so many questions. They were both going to jail for the rest of their life. He had already got in trouble by the sheriff for drugs and graffiti, he couldn't go to jail for murder now.

"Help me move the body."

"What?"

"Help me for god sakes!" She repeated, grabbing his legs. Eddie finally snapped back to reality and ran to the other end of him, picking him up from his armpits. There was so much blood, how were they supposed to clean everything up. "We're not cleaning it up, I have friends for that."

The more she said the less he understood, the less he thought he knew her. Never in his right mind would he have ever expected her to kill someone intentionally. And definitely not have people to help her cover it up. What if something happened between them? Would she kill him?

"This doesn't change anything between us right?"

"Uhh, you murdering someone and having people to cover it up meaning it's probably not your first time? Of course not." He answered sarcastically, eying Jason's dead body. He still had no idea of what the fuck was going on and it felt like he could pass out any second from the sight of blood.

"Eddie, please you can't tell anyone." She dropped Jason's legs, his body harshly slamming onto the ground. Eddie did the same with the other his arms. Touching someone's dead body was not fun, there was no way people actually liked it.

Walking over to him she reached for his shoulder but he flinched. Her heart shattered, the way he looked at her wasn't the same anymore. It broke her. Why did he have to follow her. Everything would be perfectly fine if he hadn't. "Eddie, I need to know you won't say anything, ok? This has to be our secret."
