chapter nineteen

"i'm so tired..."

haechan watched his hyung laid down on the couch that is inside the bakery, he looked at him for a second before shrugging and going back checking their stocks.

"how's the wedding preparation, chan?" doyoung asked as he arrived from the kitchen.

"my baby chan is getting married..." they heard taeyong said, who is still laying down.

"luckily there's no problem," haechan said. "the fitting session isn't finished yet," he added.

"how many relatives does that mark have though?" doyoung said, chuckling.

"nah, they said they were waiting for the others to arrive here. the others were still in the neo universe." haechan said calmly.

as the two peacefully have a conversation about haechan's wedding, taeyong is now asleep because of how tired he is. they always get a lot of orders every day and taeyong mostly does it since the two have their own tasks in the bakery.

"hello!"

a cute voice that is from the kid made taeyong woke up.

"where's my dada?" he cutely asked.

"find him." haechan said, teasing the kid.

"did you hide my dada?!" he asked dramatically.

"oh my god, i did!" haechan also said dramatically.

the kid gasped again, doyoung who was just watching them can't help not to laugh. the more the kid spent his time with haechan, he was becoming more dramatic and talkative.

the kid looked around, there he saw his dada from one of those tables inside the bakery. he giggled and ran towards him.

"dada!" he greeted.

"hello, baby. how's your day, hmm?" he asked softly and carried him.

"uncle tail brought me to the toy store!" he said happily.

"that's why taeil was his favorite," doyoung joined the conversation as he heard them. "he spoiled your baby too much."

"don't worry, uncle dons! you're also my favorite!" the kid said cutely.

"give me a kiss then," and he pouted.

the kid flew a kiss which made them giggled, this kid really never failed to make this day happy.

he's now three years old. taeyong raised him as a good kid. he was jolly, talkative and also friendly. he made sure that he would never let his child feel pressure, he just wanted him to enjoy his life and live the life.

he will make sure that he would never feel what taeyong felt back then.

"taeil, stop spoiling jaeyu." taeyong said.

"that's actually the last now," taeil said, smiling. "doyoung would probably kill me if i do it again."

"as he should," taeyong said. "our house is already full of toys." he hissed.

"i'm sorry," he chuckled. "i just can't really say no to your baby." he smiled.

"well, same." he chuckled. "thank you, by the way."

"small things," he winked. "wait, let me go to my baby now." taeil said.

"tss, fine." and he let taeil enter the shop.

it's been a years now, taeyong and haechan finally met doyoung's fiance. haechan is now getting married. doyoung found out the truth, of course. mark already visited the bakery and met jaeyu, but he didn’t know who's the other father. well, mark didn’t even ask who is it, he respect the older one's privacy.

but he already had a hint who it might be.

"by the way, hyung. jaeyu will be our flower boy," haechan said. "and ari was the flower girl."

"who's ari?" taeyong asked while cooking.

"yuta and winwin hyung's daughter, she was five months younger than jaeyu." haechan said calmly.

taeyong couldn't help not to smile, they finally had a family. he really shipped those two back then. taeyong also knows that he might finally meet them at the wedding, he was even excited about it.

but inner him still doesn't want to meet jaehyun.

he didn’t know how he will face him because until now,

taeyong is still expecting and he still loves him.

"good evening, dada." the kid greeted as he went inside their room, taeyong who was in his working desk shifted at him. there he saw the child hugging a peach plushie.

"hi, baby. i thought you would sleep with uncle chan because he will leave tomorrow?" taeyong asked softly, carrying the kid and putting him down on his thigh.

haechan is now moving out even though he didn’t sleep here often, he and mark already bought a house that's why he is now moving out.

"thunders, dada..." the kid said and buried his face on taeyong's chest.

he smiled and rubbed the kid's back, one of the things that jaeyu got from taeyong is having a fear on thunderstorms. taeyong still has a fear on it but he calms when jaeyu is around. jaeyu also calms when his dada is around.

taeyong stopped working and gently spin his chair around, rubbing the kid's back until he fell asleep. but whenever he hears the thunder, he flinched even though he was already sleeping. that's why taeyong can't sleep peacefully as he need to look for jaeyu.

"take care of my uncle chan!"

he hissed, having his hand on his waist like a superior. taeyong and haechan just watched him talking with mark as if he was the one who's older.

"yes, sir." mark nodded obediently, holding his smile back.

"he was a cry baby like me, did you know that?" he said calmly, even though his words are still not clear, they could still understand him.

"hm-mm..." mark nodded.

"very good, uncle mark." and he thumbs up.

"i actually have a gift for you but you scold me so i won't give it." he pouted, hiding the paper bag on his back.

he dramatically gasped, which made his taeyong chuckled, this kid...

"i'm just kidding, uncle mork!" he giggled. "can i have my gift now?" he said and showed puppy eyes.

"kiss me first." and he shows his cheeks.

the kid giggled and immediately kissed his cheeks. mark can't really handle his cuteness. that's why he got lost that fast. he also gave the gift to jaeyu which made the kid jump in happiness.

"take care," taeyong said.

"see you at the wedding." mark said and gave him a hug.

"i will still going to visit here." haechan said, pouting.

"nah, i will ban you from now on." he smirked.

"i will miss you, hyung." haechan said and hugged him.

"me too, my baby." taeyong said and hugged him back. "be a good husband and a father... in the near future." he smiled.

haechan is already teary-eyed while taeyong is trying his best to hold his tears back or else the two of them are gonna burst out their tears.

later on, the two also left using mark's car. he couldn't help not to smile before going back inside the house. a house that taeyong really invested a lot in, he worked hard for this, to give jaeyu a comfortable home.

"dada, where uncle chan and uncle dons?" the kid asked when he didn’t see his uncles inside the bakery.

"they had other plans, baby." taeyong said softly.

"why are we here?" he asked softly.

"dada is going to finish uncle chan's wedding cake." taeyong said and put jaeyu down.

he is still going to open his shop as he finished the wedding cake, he still has one more day to accomplish it.

"baby, don't go outside, okay?" taeyong said.

"yes, dada! i'm just going to greet people who come in!" he said softly as he wiggled his feet while sitting down the chair.

taeyong let out a chuckle and shook his head. he can still see his son from the kitchen so it was fine. jaeyu was even calling him that there's a customer and most of them can't help not to coo because of his cuteness.

"are you sure that this is his shop?"

"that's what donghyuck gave me."

"there's no people inside, what if we entered the wrong shop?"

"this is the only bakery here, asshole."

"asshole?"

the four of them suddenly flinched when they heard a kid's voice, repeating the curse that they said. they looked down and there they saw a kid who really looks like someone they know from their universe.

"why the heck does he look like baby jaehyun?" he whispered.

"that's my name!" the kid said happily. "i'm jaeyu!"

"i think we really entered the wrong shop." the small one said.

"let's go, let's go..."

"why are you leaving? my dada's cakes are delicious!" the kid said, sounds upset.

"jaeyu, my love? who are you talking to?"
