Charlie sat on her bed and looked at the calendar on her phone, it was meant to be a daddy-daughter day today. Ever since she was five years old they would have a whole day that they would spend together. They would go out for breakfast then go and play some crazy golf and then have some lunch together before going to see a movie and then going out to dinner. She sighed and set her phone down. She reaches for her iPad that was at the end of the bed and propped it up and pressed Zoom.

Dec then appeared on the screen.

Dec" Hey Charlie, I thought you would FaceTime today, sorry we can't be out together"

Charlie" I know I miss you so much, dad"

Dec" I miss you too, we all miss you"

Charlie" How are Ali and Isla are they keeping safe?"

Dec" Yeah we are all keeping safe, Isla has started trying to form words, she points to the picture we gave her of you and she points to it a lot"

Charlie" Oh"*starts crying* I miss her so much as well"

Dec" Oh Charlie I wish I could cuddle you, we will get through, we will be together soon"

Charlie" I just miss your hugs dad so much"*sniffs*

Stephen*comes in* Hey you okay Charlie?"

He sits down and pulls her in for a cuddle.

Dec" Hi Stephen, you looking after my little girl?"

Stephen*nods* I'm always trying to make her laugh, doing my magic tricks and cracking jokes"

Charlie*laughs a bit despite crying* I'm going to get some tissues"

Dec watches as his daughter disappears out of shot and he looks at Stephen.

Stephen" So are you all doing okay, keeping safe?"

Dec*nods* Yeah we are all doing all we can to keep ourselves occupied I just told Charlie Isla was missing her that's why she was crying"

Stephen*looks round* I was thinking of doing something for Charlie, I got her favourite chocolate, favourite meals and favourite drinks and I thought we could have a Harry Potter marathon"

Dec" Aww Stephen, that is so lovely, I couldn't imagine a better person for my daughter to be stuck with in lockdown with"

Stephen" Anything for Charlie"

Charlie comes back wiping her eyes and as she sits down Ant pops into the chat.

Ant" Hi guys"*pulls a funny face*

Stephen*smiles* rolls his eyes*

Charlie*smiles* Unbelievable it's Ant McPartlin"

Stephen*rolls his eyes* You guys are not funny"

Dec" Neither are you Mulhern*smiling though*

Ant" It's times like these I wish me and Ant still lived next door to each other"

Dec" Yeah those were the days"

It gets a bit awkward and they slowly slide over it.

Ant" I do miss all you guys, can't wait till we can all be together again"

Charlie" I miss you Ant, you give great cuddles"

Ant" I miss you to Little Donnelly"

Charlie" I miss BGMT I wish it hadn't been axed"

Stephen*nods* Me too"

Ant" Me and Dec don't miss it do we, get pestered by nonsense"

Stephen*pulls a face*

Dec" No we are joking aren't we Ant, of course, we loved BGMT"

Ant" Of course yeah"

Dec" I miss Mr and Mr, that was my favourite game"

Ant, Stephen and Charlie" We know!"

Dec*blushes* smiling his cheeky smile*

Ali then pops in the shot with Isla.

Charlie" Hey Ali"

Ali" Hey Charlie how are you doing love?"

Charlie" Yeah I'm good Stephen is looking after me"

Ali" Good to hear that, Isla say hello to Charlie"*picks up her hand to wave*

Isla*points at the screen* Charlie"

Ali" That's right well done Isla"

Charlie*puts her hands on the screen* Love you"*blows a kiss*

Around lunchtime, Charlie was sitting typing away on her MacBook. Stephen walked in and looked at Charlie.

Stephen" Charlie I have a surprise for you"

Charlie*looks up* What?"

Stephen" Just come with me"

Stephen puts a blindfold on Charlie and steers her into the kitchen.

Charlie" Stephen, what's going on?"

Stephen" Hang on"*he stops her*takes the blindfold off*

Charlie then looks in awe at the chocolate, drinks, a pizza and all the Harry Potter movies on the counter. Charlie is speechless.

Stephen" I thought since you can't have a daddy-daughter date with Dec I would sort something myself, I got your favourite chocolates Doisy and Dam dots, Fanta Fruit Twist, cheesy Doritos, hippeas and all the Harry Potter movies"

Charlie*wraps her arms around Stephen* Oh Stephen thank you"

Stephen" I just didn't want you to be upset"

Charlie" Wait how did you know I would be living with you"

Stephen" I didn't I got it while in lockdown but I let it all sit for days and then washed it all"

Charlie*cuddles Stephen* Aww, I love you, Stephen"

Stephen" I love you too Charlie"*hugs her* kisses her forehead*

And that was what they did all afternoon, they munched on snacks and pizza and watched Harry Potter.

Stephen" You know I have never seen the Harry Potter movies at least not all the way through"

Charlie" You know there is the Harry Potter Studios that I have yet to explore since we are always busy"

Stephen" Maybe we could go together sometimes I can treat you to whatever you want"

Charlie*smiles* Awww wow thank you, Stephen"

Stephen*kisses her forehead* Maybe some point when this is all over and we can venture out again"

Charlie*nods* I just miss dad so much and just miss the simple things like going out and seeing people"

Stephen*sighs* Me too"

They continued to watch the Harry Potter movies until they fell asleep at midnight partway through The Half-Blood Prince. Stephen was clutching some crisps as his arm hanging off the couch, the other around Charlie as she lays on his chest asleep.

Short chapter, I was inspired to write another chapter about in lockdown. I just really enjoy writing about Stephen and Charlie. Let me know what you think in the comments down below and if you could vote that would be much appreciated.
