Charlie looks as Stephen was finishing getting ready for a day out. Charlie smirks and starts laughing.

Stephen" Why have you got the giggles?"

Charlie" I don't know, just love watching you get ready"

Stephen" Oh do you I can give you something to laugh about"

Charlie*realises* No, Stephen"

Stephen grabs hold of her and begins to tickle her, pushing her on the bed. His hands tickle her belly.

Charlie" No, Stephen, no"

Stephen" Aww are you ticklish, are you ticklish"*holds his fingers*

Charlie" No, Stephen no, no"

Stephen watches her wriggle around and around.

Stephen" You are so cute"

Charlie*looks up at Stephen*sticks her tongue out*

Stephen*sticks his tongue out back* moves off Charlie* So what would you like to do, we could go pumpkin picking"

Charlie" Oooo I like the sound of that, do you think there we will be any left after all today is Halloween"

Stephen" If we get there early"

Charlie*looks at her phone* It's ten o clock"

Stephen" Blimey we slept in for a while"

Charlie*approaches Stephen* Was worth it though"*kisses his lips*

Stephen*holds her close*kisses her forehead*

When they are finally ready and have eaten breakfast Charlie stands by the door slipping on her shoes. Stephen picks up his coat.

Stephen" You got your mask?"

Charlie*shows it* nods* Yep, right here, you got yours"

Stephen*nods*shows his mask* Let's go"

They arrived at the pumpkin patch and they were right there wasn't a lot of pumpkins left.

Stephen*turns off the car* Wow, there isn't a lot left"

Charlie*taps Stephen's face* Come on or all the good pumpkins will be gone"*hops out*

Stephen*smiles*locking the car*

Charlie" Wow, there are only a few people here"

Stephen" 'Now remember what we said"

Charlie" Yeah all of my family and your family know we are dating so if the press does get a hold of it it's okay"

Stephen" It would be nice to hide again but it is definitely been hard to get out"

Charlie" Well it has been hidden for two months"

Stephen" True, that is very true, alright come on let's find a pumpkin"

Charlie*nods*

Both Stephen and Charlie trawl the patches for pumpkins chatting about recent events while they were holding hands swinging.

Charlie" So you really think there is going to be another lockdown?"

Stephen" I don't know but it is looking that way isn't it"

Charlie" Perhaps we could live together you know by choice this time"

Stephen*smiles* I would like that"

Charlie*smiles* Good"*kisses him on the lip* Love you"

Stephen" I love you"

After an hour they manage to find another a pumpkin.

Charlie*holds up the pumpkin* He is perfect"

Stephen" How do you know it's a boy"

Charlie" I don't know I always thought of Pumpkins as boys"

Stephen*chuckles* You make me laugh, come on let's go buy our pumpkins"

Charlie*nods* I'll hold him"

As Stephen and Charlie make there way to pay for their pumpkin they spot a pap lurking around.

Charlie*nudges Stephen* Do you want to play to the camera?"

Stephen*notices the pap* Sure" *slips his hands in Charlie's*

Charlie*smiles*kisses Stephen*

Stephen*pulls Charlie in*

After paying for their pumpkin they head to get a hot drink from the small shop.

Stephen" I'll get it my treat"

Charlie*smiles* Thank you, Stephen"

Charlie*looking at her phone*sees pic of Dec with glasses*

Stephen*pays* Thank you"*hands Charlie her hot chocolate*

Charlie" Thanks Stephen, do you think my dad looks good in glasses"

Stephen*looks at it* I've never really thought about men looking good in glasses and if I did I don't think we would be going out"

Charlie*giggles* Well it think you look good in my glasses"*takes them off* puts them on him*

Stephen*smiles* They may look good but I can't see"

Charlie*takes her glasses* What do you think the title of the papers will be tomorrow"

Stephen" I don't know they will probably think of something to put I'm sure, come on why don't we get some goodies and then go home and carve these pumpkins"

Charlie*nods* Oh I like the sound of that"

Stephen*smiles*

Stephen" Ready?

Charlie" Let's do this"

As Stephen and Charlie made their way into the shop they split off to their own aisles. When Charlie has picked her goodies she finds Stephen staring at the crisps.

Charlie" What are you going to get Stephen ?"

Stephen" I don't know I want to get something different but I just can't"

Charlie" I am going to try and get you to broaden your palette"

Stephen" Not a hope in hell, you and Emma tried that before it didn't go well did it"

Charlie" No it didn't"

Stephen*smirks*So don't even try it"*tickles Charlie*

Charlie*giggles* Stephen!"

Stephen*smiles* I'll just get some crisps I always feel safe with them"

Charlie" You should really see someone about your food phobia"

Stephen" I do not have a food phobia"

Charlie" Stephen you retch when you try new foods"

Stephen" Look just leave it before I tickle you again"

Charlie*hands up* Okay okay"

After a few socially distanced selfies they leave the supermarket and head home.

-Kitchen-

Stephen is shuffling around looking for a carving knife. Charlie sets the pumpkins on the counter.

Charlie" We should put them out the front with some sweets"

Stephen" Oh I like that idea"

Charlie" We can also have a sign that says leave some for others, I think Rochelle and Marvin have that, they posted that on their Instagram"

Stephen" I think I saw that earlier ooo maybe we should put This Morning's sign on the gate"

Charlie*leans on the breakfast bar* I like that"

Stephen" Hah, I found it"*pulls out two knives* Come on then, let's carve these pumpkins"

-Later on-

Charlie" Stephen what do you think?"

Stephen*looks at the pumpkin* That is very good"

Charlie" It is okay, it's not very evil-looking is it"

Stephen" Oh well it doesn't have to does it"

Charlie" I guess not, let me see yours"

Stephen*flips his round*

Charlie" Wow, yours looks way better than mine"

Stephen" It's not that good is it"

Charlie*smiles* I like it, looks eviler than mine"

Stephen" If you say so, shall we light them and put them out"

Charlie" Sure let me just fetch the this morning sign"

Stephen" I'll get the sweets"

Stephen is filling the treat buckets with sweets when Charlie comes back.

Stephen" Sounds good to me, ready?"

Charlie*nods* Okay let's go"

Covered with their masks they took the pumpkins and treat buckets out along with the signs and sat them down.

Charlie looks up from Twitter and smiles at Stephen.

Charlie" If we do have another lockdown then I am quite happy to spend it with you"

Stephen" I am quite happy to spend it with you as well"

They both lean together to kiss, Stephen pushing Charlie against the counter. She giggles and he then picks her up and carries her to the sofa. Charlie looks up as he drops her on the couch.

Charlie" Don't tickle me, I can read you like a book Stephen"

Stephen" Okay I won't tickle, why don't we get the goodies we got, I'll make us some hot chocolate and we can snuggle under a blanket and watch a Halloween movie"

Charlie" Aww, Stephen that sounds lovely, I love you so much"

Stephen*kisses her* I love you too, you stay there"

While Stephen was in the kitchen getting the goodies and flicking the kettle on for some hot chocolate, Charlie pulls the blanket out and finds a Halloween movie. Stephen walks back in Hot chocolate in both hands and the goodies in his pockets. He sets the hot chocolate down and chucks Charlie her goodies.

Charlie*smiles* Thanks Stevie"

Stephen*smiles* I think you know which hot chocolate is yours"

Charlie" Oh yeah, could it maybe be the Harry Potter mug"

Stephen" It could be, right Halloween movie are we watching or we could watch a totally different movie"

Charlie" Awww, are you scared Stephen?"

Stephen*shakes his head* No way"

Charlie" Aww and here was me hoping you would protect me"

Stephen" Oh shut up"*smiles* Why don't we watch something else, what about Harry Potter, people dress up as Harry Potter characters on Halloween"

Charlie" Sure, I think we have the box set"

Stephen" I'll get it where is it"

Charlie" It's in the ottoman by the tv"

Stephen*hops up* pulls it out of the ottoman* Got it, what one do you want to watch"

Charlie" I know you have a thing about order but I really want to watch the third one it's my favourite"

Stephen" Of course we can"

Charlie" Put it in"

Stephen*smiles* Okay, okay"

He slots it in and hits play and they finally settle down to watch the movie. Stephen kisses her head.

Later on that evening the movie was just finishing off when Stephen noticed Charlie asleep. He smiles and kisses her forehead, he gets up to switch off the telly and then moves all the sweets onto the table.

Charlie*moans* Stephen"

Stephen" Shall we go to bed"

Charlie" Can't we stay and cuddle here, I can't be asked to get up"

Stephen" We can but I think it would be more comfortable in bed"

Charlie*sighs*

Stephen" Come on"*picks Charlie up*

They make their way to bed and Stephen sets her down as he gets changed. He strips off to his boxer shorts and Charlie slaps his arse.

Stephen" Hey!"

Charlie*waves* Hey"

Stephen" I thought you had no energy"

Charlie" I had enough energy for that"

Stephen*smirks* Cheeky, come on let's snuggle"

They both settle down doing the cold bed dance.

Stephen*turns over* So what do you want for your birthday?"

Charlie" I don't know at the moment you don't have to get me anything"

Stephen" Don't be silly I have to get you something"

Charlie" I don't know what I would like really"

Stephen" Any game consoles you would like I know you love all that"

Charlie" I don't know, I don't think so I bought a switch this year for New Horizons, what do you want Stephen"

Stephen" I don't know"

Charlie" It gets harder when you get older, I remember when dad always bought me toys for Christmas"

Stephen" I remember when I bought you that Harry Potter playhouse and we set it up in the garden and we all got in it with you"

Charlie*smiles* Oh yeah that was fun, I think that might be in the loft"

Stephen*smiles*

Both settle down in bed and Charlie lays into his chest as he kisses her forehead.

Charlie" Do you think everyone is going to go crazy like when we had the last lockdown?"

Stephen" I want to say no but there will probably be people out there who just ignore the rules"

Charlie*sighs* I don't like those people"

Stephen" No me neither"

After chatting for a few more minutes they settle down to sleep.

So let me know what you think of this, your feedback is much appreciated. I've never written a Halloween Chapter before but I just had a great idea for one, i had seen most of my fav celebs going pumpkin picking so with a bunch of other ideas I made it into a chapter.

On the reality side of things, what does everyone think of another lockdown? I will be probably be incorporating it in this story just like I did last time. Unless you guys don't want me to. I think of this book as a soap everything that happens in real life happens here.
