Charlie looked at the clock it has just gone ten o'clock, in the morning and she smiled fishing out the fathers day gifts from under the bed. She then met Ali and Isla on the stairs and she also smiled.

Ali" Ready?"

Charlie*nods* Ready" *thumbs up*

They then all burst in the room and scream.

Charlie" HAPPY FATHERS DAY!"

Dec looks up a bit confused and still slightly tired as his eyes adjusted to the three people staring down at him. He yawned then sat himself up.

Dec" Morning you three"

Charlie" Happy Fathers Day Dad!"

Dec" Awww, thank you"

Charlie moves to snuggle into her father and he kisses her head. Charlie then gets up picking up bags.

Dec" Oooo what you got me?"

Charlie*hands the bags over* It was a bit awkward this year after I bought things I had to wash them fifty times before I felt comfortable that they were clean"

Dec" That's okay, better safe than sorry"

Dec tucks into his presents.

Charlie" Oh open that last"

She points to a medium-sized package.

Dec" Ooo, okay then"

He looks at all the presents and then grabs the card and opens it, it reading Best Dad by Par Happy Fathers Day all presented on three golf flags coloured red, blue and green.

Dec" Oh wow, I love this card"

Charlie" I thought you would, I saw that and I thought dad would love that"

Dec" Awww, thank you"

He then continues to open his presents which consist of some aftershave, a smart shirt and lots of chocolate. He picks up the shirt and admires it.

Dec" It's always nice to have a smart shirt to wear out especially that lots more places are opening and we are able to go to more places than before"

Charlie" You could wear it on Zoom calls with Ant and when you film the Santander ads"

Dec*smiles* Yeah I guess I could"

He picks up the aftershave and squirts it onto his arm and gives it a sniff.

Charlie" Does it smell nice?"

Dec*smiles* Wow, that is nice, it's strong"

Charlie" Can I have a smell"*laughs*

Dec" Sure"*holds his arm out*

Charlie*nods* That is nice, cor I like that"

Dec*smiles* Do you want a smell, Ali?"

Ali*giggles* Yeah go on then"

Dec holds out his arm for Ali to smell.

Ali" That is really nice, very fruity"

Dec then picks up the three bars of chocolate all Double Decker.

Charlie" I know you love Double Decker"

Dec" I do very much, my all-time favourite"

He starts to open it up and takes a huge bite out of it his face changing.

Dec" I do love a double-decker"

Charlie smiles as pushes the last two presents towards him.

Dec" Oh yeah I forget about this one"

He brings it forward to unwrap it and when he sees it his face expresses such amazement.

Dec" A Newcastle football shirt with Donnelly on it, wow oh thank you, Charlie"

Charlie" I know that the last time you had one was a while ago"

Dec" Oh yeah definitely wow, thank you"

He then tips the bag upside down and two face coverings fall out.

Dec" Oh what are these?"

Charlie" I know it's not the usual present you would get someone for fathers day but I thought they would come in handy"

Dec" They will definitely come in handy"

Charlie" I got you a golfing one and then I saw the football one so I got that as well"

Dec" Well I think I am very spoilt dad"

Charlie*smiles* I'm glad you like all your presents dad"

Dec" I do very much, especially the football shirt with my name on it"

Ali" We knew that would be your favourite"

She nudges Charlie who smiles.

Dec" Well thank you, girls, I love all my presents"

Dec pulls Charlie close to him and Isla and kisses them both. Isla looks up at her daddy still too young to understand what Fathers Day is. He kisses her head and tickles her belly making her giggle.

Dec" Remember when I used to tickle you like that and you were so adorable, you used to look at me with those eyes so filled with love and push your chubby hands into my face.

Charlie" Did you ever think you would have another baby"

Dec" Well I always wanted to give you a sibling but you started getting older and there was no future with me and Clare there anymore, I just thought I would never get a wife again, turns out she was right in front of my nose"

Ali*blushes* Aww Deccy"

She reaches forward to kiss him and snuggles into him. Dec smiles and kisses her head.

Dec" My three beautiful girls, what would I do without you"

Charlie" I love you dad"

Dec" I love you too Charlie, and you Ali and Isla"

Ali" I love you too Deccy"

Dec*holds Isla* Do you love daddy?"

Isla" Daddy, Daddy"

Charlie" I didn't get you any golfing gifts this year because I knew you still got your clubs and gloves from last year"

Dec" That's okay love I'm happy with my presents"

Charlie*smiles*

Charlie" Oh and there is this"*hands an envelope*

Dec*takes it* Oh what is this?"

Dec pulls the flap up and pulls the card out. It reads Golf course reserved for Declan Donnelly and Anthony Mcpartlin for the whole day.

Dec" Wow, thank you, Charlie"

Charlie" I thought it would be a good present this year as you enjoyed it so much last year"

Dec" I did and I was the one who totally won"

Charlie" Ant told me he was the one who won"

Dec" Oh no it was definitely me"

Charlie*smiles*

Dec" Well I better go get ready then hadn't I, I'll go hop in the shower"

Dec left the bedroom and disappeared into the a-joined bathroom.

@antanddec I have been spoilt again by my two daughters @CharlieDonnelly and Isla. Got three double-decker bars, some aftershave, a new smart shirt, a football shirt, two face coverings and a golf course all to ourselves. Very lucky dad! D. X

Charlie and Ali were in the kitchen just finishing the breakfast for Dec when he came down. He entered the kitchen wearing a pair of white shorts and a blue polo shirt. He then sees the breakfast.

Dec" Oooo is this for me?"

Charlie" It is, Dad, we both just cooked it for you"

Dec" Well thank you both of you"*he looks at Isla* Did you help as well then?"

Isla*smiles* giggling* Daddy like"

Charlie*smiles*sits with her*She is so adorable"

Charlie sits down at the table and touches her face.

Charlie" You are so cute, aren't you"

Isla" Charlie sister"

Charlie" She just said my name and sister, well done Isla"

Dec" Well done baby girl"*kisses her forehead* so what are you guys up to when me and Ant go golfing, shopping like last year"

Ali" We might do, still figuring out what we can do by keeping to the social distance rules"

Charlie" We could go to the park and feed the ducks, Isla loves the ducks"

Dec" That is true she does"

Isla*giggles*

Dec*looks at his watch* Ooo I should get going I'll see you two tonight then"*finishes his toast*

Charlie*hugs him* Have a nice time"

Ali" Yeah have a good time darling"

Charlie" Go and beat Ant"*smiles*

Dec*kisses her head* I will don't you worry"

Later that afternoon they took Isla to the park to see the ducks, Ali pushed the pram along while Charlie held Rocky's lead. They stopped in front of the pond keeping their distance from other people and watched Isla smile as she watched the ducks. Charlie watched Rocky barking at the ducks as he wanted to get to them but obviously couldn't.

Charlie" You can't have the dogs Rocky, you are not allowed"

She picks Rocky up and he kisses her on the nose smothering face in slobber.

Charlie" Thanks Rocky lovely kisses"

They walked around the rest of the park, pushing Isla on the swings and watching her giggle and even getting an ice cream which Isla completely loved. They head back to the car Charlie helping to put Isla in her car seat while Ali wrestled with the pram to get it in the back. When they got in they put Isla in her playpen and fed Rocky.

Charlie" We should make a cake for dad for fathers day"

Ali" Ooo that's a good idea, what's, the time?"

Charlie*looks at her phone* We got time yet"

So they pulled all the ingredients and utensils out of the cupboard and started preparing the cake.

Ant and Dec were on the last lot of golf holes as they were chatting.

Ant" It's weird isn't it this, not being able to be close to each other, not being able to hug each other not being able to the simplest of things"

Dec" I know, took everything for granted didn't we?"

Dec lines up his club before hitting the ball across the green.

Dec" I just know it was so hard on Charlie when she couldn't see me, I mean I know its been hard on everyone but she is my daughter"

Ant" I know man but you get to see her now don't we"

Dec" Yeah she had a test done to see if she tested positive for coronavirus but she got the test back and it was all clear"

Ant" That's great Dec!"

Charlie" I know we were so happy when we got the news, so it means we can have Charlie around more and she can be near Isla"

Ant" Aww, Dec"

Dec*looks at Ant*

Ant" Are you crying?"

Ant then watched as his best mate in the world held him and started crying. Ant held him close.

Ant" Oh Deccers, it's okay mate"

Ant listened to Dec talk about how he had just been trying to keep it together for everyone and it all just calm pouring out.

Dec" I just couldn't keep it in anymore"

Ant*held him* Oh Dec"

Ant knew Dec was a sensitive soul, he knew everyone had probably had a huge cry over this virus.

Ant" I know but things are slowly easing, more places are opening, we can have social bubbles and you have Charlie back"

Dec" I know, it's just that when the lockdown was still very strict and I couldn't see Charlie, I couldn't bear the thought her being ill and I wasn't there"

He started crying again holding Ant.

Ant" Awww, Dec"

Dec" Do you think that is silly"

Ant" No Dec that is not silly at all, she is your daughter and we are stuck with a pandemic, of course, you are not being silly"

Dec*smiles* Thanks Ant"

Ant"*man hugs him* It's okay mate"

They finished off their course and made their way home. When Dec got in he smelled something delicious, he comes into the kitchen.

Dec" What have you two been up to, something smells delicious"

Charlie pushes the cake forwards.

Charlie" Happy Fathers Day Dad"

Dec" Awww, thank you"

He looked at it, it was a jam sponge with cream on the side.

Ali" We thought we could order in Chinese for dinner"

Dec" I love that"

So that evening they sat down eating Chinese and even had a couple of slices of cake while watching a movie.
