Flicking forward to June for fathers day!

Dec was laying in bed when he heard the thundering noise of many feet coming up the stairs and he pretended to be asleep. The door opened and he was nearly buried under the covers.

Charlie*nudges her father* Dad, Dad wake up it's fathers day come on"

Dec*pokes his head out of the covers* Oh hello, what are you lot doing here?"

Charlie*pushes her dad* Dad don't be silly look we made you breakfast"

Dec*looked at the full English breakfast in front of him* Well aren't I lucky"

Charlie" That's not it, you are going to play golf with Ant while me,Ali, Grandma go shopping then after that we are going out of the evening to a fancy restaurant for something to eat"

Dec" Wow, I have been spoilt and I haven't even had presents unless those are the presents" *smiles*

Charlie" Of course you have presents"

Dec" Well come on then bring them on"

Charlie" I'll go get them"*leaves the room*

Ali" So you excited Decky, excited for your day?"

Dec" Oh yeah it all sounds amazing"

Ali" It was all Charlie's idea she arranged everything I had nothing to do with it although I did help with the breakfast"

Dec*smiles*

Ali was sitting on the bed with Isla as she watched with fascination at what was happening. Charlie then came back in with the lots of bags.

Dec" Well let's dig in"

Dec looked at the array on presents on the bed, he had received new golfing gloves, new clubs, some chocolate, some aftershave, a new shirt and a personalised photo frame that Charlie had specially made for him. He looked at it, it read Happy Fathers Day dad from you two daughters Charlie and Isla and a picture of them in the frame.

Dec" Awww, well thank you Charlie"*hugs his daughter*

Charlie" I wanted to get you something special"

Dec" I love them all from my girls"*kisses Isla*

Charlie and Dec had been laughing at the conversation twitter and Charlie was snuggled into his chest his arm round her.

Ali" Are you two laughing at a conversation you are having when you are right next to each other"

Dec*smirks* No, of course not"

Ali*laughs* You two make me laugh"

Charlie" Stephen is part of this conversation as well it's not just us"

Ali" Yeah but he is in his own home"*smiles* laughs*

Charlie*snuggles into her dad*

Dec" You are very cuddly today do you want something"

Charlie"" No, can't I just cuddle you and it's your day today"

Dec*smiles* Okay, okay"*kisses her forehead* Well I better get ready soon, I got have a shower and get dressed"

Charlie*grips Dec's shirt*

Dec" Come on you I've got to get up"

Charlie" Awww dad"

Dec"Come on don't make me tickle you"

Charlie" You wouldn't you know us Donnelly's are ticklish "

Dec*holds his fingers up*

Charlie" Okay, I'm going, I'm going"

Charlie makes her way downstairs and Ali is in the kitchen cleaning up.

Charlie" Do you want help?"

Ali" No it's okay I'm nearly finished"*grabs a dishtowel from the side*

Charlie*pulls some bread down from her cupboard*

Ali" I think we are out of peanut butter"

Charlie" Oh"*pulls a sad face*

Ali" I think we have some vego spread though"

Charlie*smiles* Yes!"*fist bumps*

Ali" So what were you laughing at on twitter?"

Charlie" Just that Stephen thought he was my third dad"

Ali*eyebrows raised* Third dad?"

Charlie" Oh Ant is my second dad he says because they helped my dad raise me"

Ali" Awwww thats cute"

Charlie" I said I see them as Uncles since thats what I used to call them when I was little"

Ali*smiles* Awww that's cute"

Charlie*smiles* I guess that's why I'm so close with them I have known since I was four years old"

Ali" Awwwwww Charlie"*cuddles her close*

Charlie sat in her room ready to go scrolling through twitter smiling at the many messages her dad had received and even going through and liking some of them. She smiled as she was happy they genially have really great fans, there was never any hate even after what happened to Ant everyone of the fans had supported him and even taken time out of their to ask if he was okay and vote for them in The National Television Awards for best presenter. She looked up as Ali entered in a dress and her hair put back.

Ali" You ready Charlie?"

Charlie" Yeah I'm ready just been scrolling through twitter at the lovely messages"

Ali" Awwww, your dad and Ant have such great fans don't they"

Charlie" Yeah they are incredible always supporting them no matter what happens, why don't you get twitter Ali"

Ali" Oh it's not my thing really I just let Dec tweet for me"

Charlie" Fair enough"

Dec*enters* We ready lets go"

As Ali slotted the buggy in the back of the car, Dec sat in the front checking his phone while Charlie strapped her sister in and kissed her forehead.

Charlie" We are going shopping today Isla just us girls what do you think about that"*smiles* bops her nose*

Isla*giggles*

Charlie" Can you say Charlie, Charlie"

Isla*blankly looks at her*

Charlie" What about sister, sisssster"

Isla*still stares at her blankly*

Charlie*gives up*leans in her seat*

Dec" You know I am a bit worried I read that she should of had her first word by now"

Charlie" Don't worry dad all babies learn at different rates I was completely different to Isla"

Dec" Yeah I guess since when do you know all this stuff"

Charlie" Dad I'm a big sister its my job to know these things"

Dec*smiles* I'm so proud of you Charlie"

Charlie*smiles* Thanks dad"

Ali finally appears and looks tired.

Ali" I finally got it in the boot"

Dec" You should have let me do it"

Ali" It was okay honestly "

Dec" Charlies trying to get Isla to speak"

Ali*looks round* I think she is getting closer on the talking things she has started making noises"

Charlie" I would really love her first word to be sister or Charlie"

Ali*smiles*

They picked Charlie's grandma up and she slots in the back with her two granddaughters.

Anne" Hello Charlie"

Charlie" Hi grandma "*hugs her close"

Anne" Whats this I hear about you spoiling your dad today"

Charlie"Well he is the best dad so I think he should have the best day"

Anne" You are such a great daughter aren't you"

Charlie*smiles* Well I try"

Anne*looks over at Isla* Hello Isla how is my girl today then?"

Charlie" I've been trying to get her to say my name or sister"

Dec" We really want her first words to be one of us"

Anne*bops Isla's nose* She is such a cutie"

Dec" How are you doing mum ?"

Anne" I'm okay darling just excited to spend a day just us girls"

Dec*smiles*

They pulled up at the golfing range and Dec grabbed his new gloves and hopped out of the car, he opened the boot and grabbed his new clubs and then shut the boot and came round to drivers side again.

Dec"' I'll see you girls later then bye"

Charlie" Bye Dad"

Ali" Bye Decky"

Anne" Bye love"

Dec" Can you say bye daddy"smiles at Isla*

Isla*says nothing*

Dec*smiles* leaves the car*

When Dec was gone Ali hopped in the drivers seat and they headed off to the shops. They had managed to reserve the shops from 7:00 to 10:00 they of course loved meeting fans but did want to shop alone and they didn't know if Isla would like all the people. They parked up the carpark very empty and all hopped out. Ali got Isla out while Charlie got the buggy out of the boot. She unfolded it and placed it on the ground for Ali.

Ali"Thank you Charlie love now just get Isla strapped in and we can go"

After they had finished putting Isla in the buggy they set off for the shops.

Dec aimed his club up as he hit another ball he watched where it landed and smiled.

Ant" Soo is Isla any close to talking yet?"

Dec" Not yet, we think she is getting close she has already managed to pull herself up using a table"

Ant" Awww bless her"

Dec" I just love her so much, she is so cute and Charlie is great with her"

Ant" I always knew she would be a great big sister "

Dec" Yeah she always helps with everything and it's just great, I really am lucky"

Ant*smiles*

Dec" So what do you think of this BGT the champions"

Ant*lines up his ball* Well I for one can''t wait to present it I can't wait to see all the winners again"

Dec" I don't know if I have had favourites I know Charlie likes Diversity they have always been her favourite"

Ant*smiles*laughs*

Dec" What?'

Ant" I just imagine you being all dad when Charlie is around boys"

Dec*smiles*shakes his head* Yeah well she is my daughter all I want to do is protect from pain and hurt"

Ant" Awwww Dec"*pats his shoulder*

Ant hits the ball across the green and then watches as it lands just shy of the hole.

Ant" Oh man"*

Ant and Dec walk down to their balls holding their clubs tonight in their hands.

Charlie*was looking at earrings*

Ali" Seen any you like Charlie*

Charlie" Yeah a couple, I like these"*holds up ladybird earrings*

Ali" Awww they are cute"

Charlie" I love ladybirds" *picks up another pair* Look at these"

Ali" Awww all fruit earrings, they look tasty"

Charlie*laughs* her phone pings*

Ali" Ooo who's that?"

Charlie*pulls her phone* sees her dad has posted a pic* It's dad look"*shows Ali the phone*

Charlie giggled as she slots her phone away. She grabbed the earrings she was going to buy and went to pay. The next shop they headed toe was HMV to look at the pop vinyls.

Anne" So what is these toys you want Charlie?"

Charlie" Grandma they are pop vinyls they aren't toys"

Anne" Oh okay"

Ali" Charlie has a collection at home don't you"

Charlie" Yeah I have a collection of Harry Potter Pops"

Anne" That's that movie with the boy wizard isn't it"

Charlie*smiles* Yeah that's the one"

They reached the aisle and Charlie looked at the whole selection of Pop Vinyls.

Anne" Whoa you are spoiled for choice here aren't you"

Charlie*smiles* Looking for Harry Potter pops* spots one* Ooo I haven't got this one" *picks up Harry in his pjs with the map*

Ali" Lets have a look, awww they very cute"

Charlie" I know right, look at his glasses"

Anne*looks at them* Have you not got that one?"

Charlie"' No and it's from my favourite sequel"

Anne" I'll treat you to it"

Charlie" You don't have to do that I have money"

Anne" No I want to I should be able to treat my granddaughter"

Charlie" Okay, thanks Grandma"

Anne" You are welcome"

Ali" You might as well get another one they are two for twenty"

Anne" Alright then get another one and I'll give you the money"

Charlie picked a Ron Weasley with a howler and then went up to the counter to pay.

Clerk" Hello, there I know you, your Charlie Donnelly are you here with your dad"

Charlie*shakes her head* No just my grandma and mum"

Clerk" Okay can I still get a selfie?"

Charlie" Of course"*snaps a selfie with him*

Clerk" Thank you so much, that will be twenty pounds please"

Charlie*hands the money*

Clerk*puts them in a bag* You have a nice day"

Charlie" Thank you"

Charlie rejoins Ali, Isla and Anne as they are standing by the door .

Ali" Why don't we go get something to eat, Isla needs feeding"

Ant and Dec were halfway round the course and Dec had got two holes in one.

Ant" I can't believe your beating me today"

Dec" I guess I'm just better than you"

Ant*laughs* You wish" *nudges him* So what are you up to after this?

Dec" Well we are going out for a fancy meal at some fancy restaurant tonight which Charlie has booked mums going to look after Isla"

Ant" Awwww, what did you get for fathers day?"

Dec" I got some aftershave, chocolate, these two gloves, a shirt, golf clubs and a personalised photo frame with both my girls in it"

Ant" Awww wow you have been spoilt then"

Dec" I have indeed" *whacks the ball*

Dec looks at Ant he quickly smiles when he catches Dec looking but he knew what that face meant.

Dec" We can talk about something else if you want to"

Ant" No it's okay man, I don't want to moan"

Dec" Your not moaning though, come on mate I'm your best friend tell me what's wrong"

Ant" It's just when Charlie was little I always loved being with her and joking around with her I just always imagined I would have kids of my own"

Dec*holds Ant* You will Ant"

Ant" Yeah but when I'm not getting any younger"

Dec" You know you are always welcome to borrow Charlie for a couple of hours to spend some time with her"

Ant" Thanks man"

Dec" Look I know us men aren't meant to show our feelings but you talk to me man, we are best mates"

Ant" Of course"

The girls were visiting their last two shops of the day and were weighed down with all the bags. Charlie had treated her Grandma to a nice bracelet and a necklace and treated Ali to a pair of shoes and a shirt. They were entered the last shop which was Smythes, Isla was asleep but they planned to get something for her. They looked around and finally found the toddler area they looked at all the toys and tried to decide what she would like. She was getting to the stage where she had likes and dislikes. They then decided to all buy her something. In the end Anne went with a personalised truck with her name on, Ali went for a personalised pull along caterpillar and Charlie went for a building cart.

Anne" Well Isla is one very spoilt girl"

Ali" And she doesn't even know it"

They headed up to the counter and the clerk then asked them who is this for and they showed baby Isla in the pram.

Clerk" She is adorable she is a very lucky girl"

He bags up all the stuff and then asks if they would like the stuff delivered and Ali said no she would come round with the car. They finally finished up and waited outside as Ali went to get the car.

Ant and Dec were sitting having a coffee while they waited for the girls to pick them up.

Ant" I wonder what the girls have bought probably a lot"

Dec*smiles* Probably but I don't care they are my girls and we can afford it"

Ant*smiles*sips his coffee* Very true, so about the bet"

Dec" Oh come on I totally won"

Ant" You did not, I knew we should have kept score, come on that's a fifty"

Dec" I'm not paying you when I won"

Ant" Fine I'll let you off of this one Donnelly since its fathers day"

Dec*smirks*

They then looked as the car pulled up and Ant and Dec went outside to see big packages. Ali rolled down the window.

Dec" What have you bought remember my golf clubs have got to get in as well"

Charlie" They might have to go on the roof rack"

Dec" Cheeky"

Ali" We bought some cute little bits for Isla you will love them"

Dec" Oh will I know"

Dec says good bye to Ant giving him a hug and then gets in the drivers side and gets ready to pull out putting his seatbelt on.

Dec" So you girls have a good time then?"

Charlie" We had a great time I treated Ali, Isla and Grandma to things and Grandma bought me Harry Potter Pop vinyls"

Dec" Well I'm glad you girls had a good time"

Anne" Did you boys have a good time"

Dec" We did yes was nice to catch up"

Charlie" Did you win Dad?"

Dec" We and Ant had different opinions but I so won"

Charlie*smiles* I'm sure you won dad"

Dec*smiles* Thanks Charlie"

Ali" You know I always wondered where Charlie got her competitive nature and now I know"

Charlie" Like dad like daughter" *smiles*

Dec" You should see us when we team up with Holly and Phil we get even more competitive"

Charlie*laughs* Us Donnelly's are very competitive"

When they got home Charlie helped Dec and Ali get the things out of the car. Charlie comes in with the Isla who was awake and happy now.

Ali" Put her in her playpen Charlie while we put stuff away"

Charlie*smiles*places her sister in the playpen*

Dec*flicks the kettle on* So why don't I make a tea and then you can show me what you bought, do you want one love?"

Ali" Yes please"

After the tea was made they sat in the living room and they showed Dec what they had got Isla. Dec looked as they pulled out the personalised caterpillar, a play box and a personalised toy car.

Dec" Well my youngest daughter is going to be the luckiest girl on earth"

Charlie" Don't you just love the car dad isn't it the cutest"

Anne" That ones from me I just thought it was adorable"

Ali" We can get some great pics with her in it she would look adorable"

Charlie" And pics of me in it as well" *smiles*

Dec" Of course, what did you buy Charlie"

Charlie" I bought the building box"

Dec" She will love that just have to watch her when she is playing with it"

Dec" S I'm guessing you bought the caterpillar "

Ali*smiles* Yeah I just found it sooo cute"

Around half six they were all getting ready to go out to dinner while Anne was downstairs looking after Isla who was playing with her new toys. Ali and Charlie were in Charlie's room doing their hair while Dec was busy trying on his new shirt and spraying the aftershave on.

Charlie*smiles* I think Isla likes her toys"

Isla" Yeah I think she loves her box you got her I think she fascinated with the blocks and letters in it"

Charlie*smiles* I know want she likes I'm her sister"

Ali*smiles*

Dec*knocks on the door* You girls nearly ready?"

Ali" Almost"

Dec" I'm going to wait downstairs come down when your ready" *disappears downstairs*

Charlie" I'm so excited for this and I checked even though they are such a posh restaurant they do cater to allergies"

Ali" Well that's the best thing ever I think"

Charlie" Definitely"*smiles*

Anne" Right Dec you go out and have a great time and I will look after Isla "

Dec" Thanks Mam"*kisses her*

Charlie and Ali finally come downstairs all dressed up with side bags on.

Dec" Well don't my two girls look beautiful"

Charlie*cuddles her dad*

Dec*kisses both of them* Right if we are ready lets go"

The dinner went well and Dec, Ali and Charlie were sat having a great meal tucking into their food as they chatted.

Charlie" So dad have you had a good fathers day?"

Dec" I've had a great day thank you very much" *gives her a side hug*

Charlie" I'm happy you have had a great day"

Ali" Awww you tooo"

When they had finished with their food they asked for dessert. Dec had a chocolate cake with lots of cream and biscuits, Ali had a raspberry cheesecake and Charlie had a chocolate cake with sauce, cream and loads of marshmallows.

Ali*laughs* looks at Charlie chocolate round her mouth* Is it nice Charlie?"

Charlie" Yeah it's gorgeous"

Ali*laughs*

Charlie" You got it all round your mouth*

Dec*smiles* You messy pup come here"*wipes her face round* Can't take you anywhere can I "

Charlie*smiles* I could eat that again"

Ali*giggles* You like your chocolate don't you"

Charlie" There is no such thing as sickly to me"

Dec*laughs* I don't know how you do it, she puts away chocolate like I put away chinese"

Ali" You two"*giggles*

They got the cheque and Charlie insisted she would pay.

Charlie" Let me pay it's fathers day I'll treat you both"

Dec" Aww Charlie"*kisses her cheek*

They paid and made their way back to the car.

To end a great fathers day they sat on the sofa and let Dec watch what he wanted. Charlie snuggled into him one side, Ali the other and Isla on his lap.
