Charlie sat on her bed, she hadn't been in her room a lot because of the virus. She had been staying around Stephen's but now she had been tested for the virus and she didn't have it so she was free to be with her dad, Ali and Isla. Rocky had certainly missed her as he would always come up to her for lots of cuddles. She was picking clothes up off the floor when Dec entered and smiled at his daughter.

Dec" Having a tidy?"

Charlie" Yeah I am, just putting away a few bits"

Dec" I see you are reading our book, do you like it?"

Dec spies the book on the nightstand.

Charlie" Yeah I've not got that far in yet but I'm loving it so far"

Dec*smiles* Good, you are the first person to read it other than us"

Charlie" Really?"

Dec" Yeah I mean Ant was like you have got to give one to Charlie or Little D as he calls you"

Charlie*smiles* Awww, he loves calling me Little D"

Dec" I know, I like it too, been calling you that since you were little"

Charlie" Yeah I guess it just kind of stuck, I wonder what he would call Isla"

Dec" What about Little D 2?"

Charlie" Or Littler D"

Dec*laughs* Yeah that's a good one"

Dec sat down on the bed and smiled.

Dec" Come here, come give your ole dad a cuddle"

Charlie smiles as she pulls her dad in for a cuddle.

Charlie" I missed living here so much in lockdown, I just missed you, Ali, Isla and Rocky"

Dec" Well I missed you too, we all did so happy we can all be together again now"

Charlie" Oh the masks came the other day that I ordered off Etsy"

Dec" Ooo you will have to show me I still got the ones you got me for Fathers Day"

Charlie*remembers* Oh yeah, well the government has changed it all now haven't they, it's got have three layers and it's got to have a filter in it"

Dec*nods*, To be honest, I don't think even the government knows what they are doing"

Charlie*shakes her head* Yeah I think they are just trying to do their best aren't they"

Dec" Yeah, it's all new to them, so show me these masks"

Charlie gets up to get them pulling them from the bedside table.

Charlie" I got you another golfing one, Ali a one with flowers on it and myself a Harry Potter one"

Dec" Oh these are nice, I love mine"

Charlie" I thought you might, I did get double by accident so I don't know if Ant wants one"

Dec" He might do, I think he wants to go out today so maybe he would like it"

Charlie" Can I ask Stephen to come?"

Dec*smiles* if he wants to come and he is not busy"

Charlie" He messaged me last night saying he misses me living with him"

Dec" Oh"

Charlie*smiles* Bless him, I mean I was living with him at the start of lockdown that's a long time"

Dec*nods* I just remember missing you every day, just knowing you weren't in your room, it was quite empty"

Charlie*hugs Dec* Awww, dad"

They look up as Ali appears in the doorway.

Ali" Hello what are you two Donnelly's up to not causing trouble I hope"

Charlie" Causing trouble us, I think you have got the wrong people"

Dec*laughs* Yeah come on Al"

Both Donnelly's then embrace in a cuddle and smile.

Ali*shakes her head* You two honestly, are we going out later"

Dec" I think we are, Charlie has got us some new masks within the new rules"

Ali" Ooo let's see then"

Ali plonks herself down on the bed and Charlie hands her the mask.

Ali" Oooo, I love this, it's very pretty"

Charlie" I knew you would, I know you like very flowery pretty things"

Ali" I do, I love this thanks Charlie" *kisses her head*

Later that day Charlie was getting ready to go out, she sat down on the bed texting Stephen as well.

(Texting)

Charlie

Hey Stevie, wanna come out with The Donnelly's today, Ant and Anne Marie are coming as well"

Stephen

Sure why not, I have nothing else on.

Charlie

Yay, kind of annoying we all have to go in different cars.

Stephen

I know but there is nothing we can do about it

Charlie

I know, so shall we see you in about thirty minutes

Stephen

Sounds good to me.

Charlie slots her phone back in her pocket and picks up her bag. She slings it over her shoulder and makes her way downstairs.

Dec" You ready?"

Charlie*nods* Yeah"

Dec" You got your mask?"

Charlie*nods* Yep"*holds it up*

Ali strolls in with Isla in her arms.

Ali" Are we ready then?"

Dec and Charlie" We are"

Charlie" Stephen, says he will meet us at the park"

Dec" Okay, let me just grab Rocky's lead"

Dec reaches over to grab Rocky's lead it sitting proudly on its new hanger.

Charlie" Do you like the new hanger?"

Ali" I love it is so cute, where did you get it from again"

Charlie" I got it from Etsy, the same place as them masks"

Ali" I will have to have a look at this Etsy website"

Charlie" They do have a lot of gorgeous things on there, you should definitely look"

Charlie hugged Ali who smiled at her. Dec smiled watching them, he loved watching Charlie and Ali hugging, Ali was the mother Charlie never had. They piled into the car, Ali and Dec in the front and Charlie and Isla in the back and Rocky in the boot. Charlie smiled and chatted to Isla as they drove to the park.

They pulled up at the park and Dec reverses into a space and sees Charlie smiling.

Dec" What are you smiling at?"

Charlie" Just been chatting with Ant and Stephen about how Isla is growing up"

Dec" I know, it's going so quick"

Ali" I can't believe it was 2018 when I gave birth to her, how is she nearly 2 Dec"

Dec" I don't know either Ali, it really is crazy"

Charlie looks at Isla and bops her nose.

Charlie" Who is going to be two this year?"

Isla" Daddy!"

They all smile.

Charlie" No not Daddy, what about you?"

Isla*holds her hands out* Daddy!"

Dec*smiles* Daddy is coming"

They got out of the car and while Ali got the blanket and food out and Dec pulled the pram out Charlie approached Stephen and hugged him close.

Charlie" I've missed you, a lot"

Stephen*hugs her close* Aww I have missed you too, it was fun having you living with me, even if you did get on my nerves a few times"

Charlie*looks pretend shocked* Stephen"*shoves him*

Stephen*smirks* I'm, happy I can still hug you and give you tickles"

Charlie*stares at him* No Stephen don't, I hurt myself the other day and it's still sore"

Stephen" Oh no, are you okay?"

Charlie" Yeah it's healing now"

Stephen" What did you do?"

Charlie" I banged into the countertop and I think I bruised myself"

Stephen" Aww, I can still give you a hug right?"

Charlie*nods* Of course"

Stephen hugged Charlie and kisses her head.

Dec" Hey, you two come get some food"

They sat on the blanket all socially distanced of course. Ali, Dec and Isla together, Charlie and Stephen together and Ant and Anne Marie together. They tucked into the sandwiches, crips and the drinks set out on the blanket. Charlie was leant into Stephen's chest, his hand grasping a sandwich in one and his other arm around her.

Stephen" So Charlie what is it like, to be living with Daddy Deckers again"

Dec" Oh I don't like that nickname, you haven't called me that for ages"

Stephen" I guess it just sort of came out, I think it came out before I realised I had said it"

Dec" Just don't say it again, okay" *smiles*

Stephen*smirks* Sure, so Charlie your answer"

Charlie" Oh yeah, yeah I've enjoyed being back with dad,Ali and Isla and Rocky, It was all very strange at the start, I'm just glad I wasn't on my own"

Stephen" She was so so excited when she heard you could go see family"

Ant" I bet she was, I heard she run in and just hugged Dec for the longest period ever"

Dec" She did, we spent the whole day together and she wouldn't stop hugging me, I missed her cuddles so much"

Ant" She does give great hugs"

Ali" Oh yeah, she is very cuddly"

Stephen" Totally agree, I love her cuddles"

Charlie" I love cuddles from people when they are not tickling me"

Everyone laughs.

Dec" Yeah we seem to the prime tickling targets"

Charlie" Especially at BGT auditions, or I used to be"

It went silent for a bit and then Anne Marie spoke up.

Anne Marie" So do you know when the BGT semi's and final are set to air"

Ant" I think we have agreed they are to air in the Autumn"

Dec" They are to go in place of where X factor would have been"

Charlie" I miss X factor I really liked it before it went down the toilet"

Dec" Charlie!"

Charlie" What it did, didn't it"

Stephen" It did really, me and Charlie were on it once and it just didn't feel the same"

Charlie" Definitely not the same show, I used to watch as a kid LIVE or on telly"

Anne Marie" So are you two going to miss The BGT Semi's and the Final"

Ant" Oh they will be there, just because they haven't got BGMT anymore, they will still be there"

Anne Marie looks at Charlie and Stephen who were still cuddling together.

Charlie" First of all rest in peace BGMT"

Stephen" Rest in peace"

Charlie" Yeah we will be there, well I will be because of dad and it's fun"

Stephe" And I will be there, why not, we will still wind people up just won't be on camera"

Anne Marie*smiles* You two really do come as a package deal don't you"

Stephen and Charlie*nod* That's us"

Charlie" We are like the packaged drinks you get in the supermarket and it says must not be sold separately"

Everyone laughs.

Ali" You two just make me laugh"

Stephen and Charlie" Thanks"

An hour later everyone had, had their fill and were now just relaxing on the blanket. Dec and Ali were asleep, Anne Marie and Ant were asleep and Isla was asleep. Charlie and Stephen were playing frisbee with Rocky who was barking away as he tried to catch it.

Charlie" Do you think we will ever get to do a show together again"

Stephen*chucks the frisbee* I don't know, I hope so I really love working with you"

Charlie*smiles* I love working with you, I think we bounce of each, like Dad and Ant"

Stephen" Yeah, the banter is always very funny"

Stephen tossed the frisbee at Charlie who then jumped and dropped it, Rocky then races over and snatches the thing in his teeth. Both Stephen and Charlie sat on the grass and Charlie laid into him again.

Stephen" You should come to Catchphrase with me, like host it with me"

Charlie" Yeah, maybe, we used to do a lot of shows together didn't we"

Stephen" Oh yeah we have done quite a few shows together"

Charlie looked up at Stephen and smiled then they both looked into each other's eyes and reached over to kiss each other. Stephen leant over Charlie and she held him close, stroking his face. When they let go of each other they both immediately looked around to see if anyone had seen them. They both then look at each other and realise what they have done.

That evening Charlie was sitting watching tv with Ali and Isla who was asleep. She was thinking about what had happened today, her and Stephen had kissed. She had thought about it and it felt wrong, her dad was the same age as Stephen and she had always looked at him as a dad. Her head was playing all sorts of tricks right now trying to figure out what the heck had just happened. She needed to talk to Stephen but not tonight, definitely not tonight. She decided to go see her father who was on a video call with Ant about their new book.

@CharlieDonnelly Just checking on dad about the new book. I think it's going well. I've started reading the book and it is brilliant and I'm not just saying that because @antanddec Dec is my dad. X

@AnythingCanHappenn I can't wait to get my hands on that book!
