Once again, Mama was pregnant with another kid. Endeavour hasn't stopped hurting Touya. I have my own few scars from trying to protect him. It was on my left arm and was in the shape of Endeavour's hand print. Mom was failing to protect me and my siblings...

I felt as if it was my responsibility to protect my siblings from his rage. Occasionally I would see Endeavour seen as a hero on the news. Whenever I saw that he was seen as a hero, I couldn't help but growl at his face. I wanted to be a hero and I wasn't planning on giving up on that dream anytime soon.

On the first day of school

Me and Touya walked to school with Mom beside us. When we arrived at school we introduced ourselves to the class and luckily no one recognised our last names were Endeavour's. A few times people asked Touya about his burn scars. I managed to divert them away from asking him those questions though.

At the end of the day me and Touya waited for Mom but instead we saw Grandma standing there instead, Fuyumi was stood by her side.
"Your Mom is in the hospital again," she told us as we entered her car. I sat Fuyumi in between me and Touya. We made sure to cheer the 3 year old girl up. She had gotten her quirk the other day and luckily it was an ice quirk and not a fire.

It took a few hours to get to the hospital as it was on the other side of the city. We got there and Fuyumi stood close to my side grabbing my hand.
Eventually a doctor came over to us and took us to the room Mom was in. She had a small boy with white hair in her arms. Little Natsuo. I won't let anyone hurt my younger brother. Mom came home that night and this time I was ok with sleeping in my room and not in Natsuo's.

I had grown a habit of keeping one eye open to make sure that nothing would happen to Touya. In the past few days his hair had been going from its usual crimson red to white. No one else seemed to have noticed this though. I closed my eyes before turning around and falling into a light sleep.

The next day we spent the whole day fussing over Natsuo. Me and Fuyumi were playing with the young boy as Touya watched from beside us. He would always join me when playing with Fuyumi. Endeavour's training has been changing him a lot in the past 2 years. Luckily he is usually busy with his work as the No.2 hero so he wasn't home often.

Natsuo hadn't interacted with him yet from what I know. I hope it stays that way for a while. Even when he decides to even look in Natsuo's direction I will protect him with my entire life.
