Background

Tammy grew up in a small town in North Carolina. One of her brothers committed murders, which Tammy saw take place when she was walking one night Tammy knew she had to make a choice. She told the police about it. This hurt her family deeply. Her father began to drink. Her mother wanted to start over, so they moved to Maryland. Tammy attended a talk given by Jason Gideon, which made her want to go to the FBI. She was afraid however because of her past. Still she applied and got accepted

Personality

Tammy is very quiet and shy, but she doesn't let that stop her from doing her job. She is good with communicating with families of victims. She does have a playful and outgoing side.

Relationship with Derek Morgan

Tammy met Morgan when she bumped into him on her first day at the B.A.U. Derek brought out the more playful side to Tammy, and everyone eventually knew that they were dating.
